TRUTH SPELL CONTINUED.
Aalekh stood there completely out of his wits as he couldn't believe his ears. Did he hear the right thing? Did he just say that they both were husband and wife? My God he felt like he was going to faint. But no he thought that enough was enough and now it was time to take out his magic wand and cast a truth spell.
All three of them kept looking at each other not knowing what to do. There was some kind of overwhelment amongst them for different reasons. Now the situation lied that Raj and Naina weren't sure about what exactly did Aalekh see and hear. If he didn't see or hear anything then it would be too risky to say something they shouldn't have and if he did hear and see everything then it'll be too risky to tell him anything here. Then Raj thought that whatever it was they couldn't take the risk on the grounds of KMA so he might as well call Aalekh somewhere else and deal with whatever over there.
Before Aalekh could open his mouth he was shunned by Rajveer, "Ssshhh...Whatever it is we'll talk some place else not right now." He kept looking here and there making sure they had no on lookers or spies.
"But where would that be?" Naina was also not sure at first but then Rajveer gave her a disbelief look as if to signal that she was supposed to know the so called secret place. It was as if she could read his eyes that she understood what he mean't.
"Naina will explain to you but right now..." he looked towards the gate, "I've to leave as I'm expecting guests." He gave her a quick peck on the cheek and sauntered towards the building constantly looking here and there for any unexpected spectators.
Aalekh still stood there in a daze as he couldn't believe whatever was happening. He found it too new to see Raj and Naina so close and to top it all he was just confused about everything.
"don't worry Aalekh just come with me." She walked with Aalekh to the building so no one would question them as to what they were doing. Aalekh had a lot of questions and he couldn't wait till the time they got answered.
Once they were inside the mess he grabbed a table and shoved her on a seat too and then burst out on her, "what the hell is going on here with you? first you disappear for days all of sudden and then you turn up with R..."
"Sshhh...Aalekh don't speak so loud about him." She had put her hand over his mouth, just then Huda arrived and got surprised by them in that position. "Oh Huda...actually I was just...ummm you..." she couldn't think of a good excuse.
Huda just made a face at them and then went to the next table.
Once he was sat he kept giving them looks and wondering what was up with them. He also was concerned as to why Naina had disappeared for days and suddenly came back as if nothing had really happened. First it was Yudi and then Naina but she came back and Yudi...his thoughts were disturbed by Aalekh.
"Naina whatever you told me doesn't affect me but the things you haven't told me does. I'm more concerned about that."
She came closer to him and whispered in his ear, "I can't tell you anything here and you know it. Anyways we've to meet Rajveer on point 1857 sharp at 2300 hrs as the whole place is desserted. For now stop this interogation as Huda has already begun suspecting." She moved back on her seat with a smile on her face.
Huda became curious when she had moved closer to him and then when he saw both of them smiling about something really made him burn with jealousy as why didn't she ever confide in him? What exactly did she tell Aalekh which made him smile so much as before he seemed pretty mad with her. Something was definitely up with these two and it was about time he found out.
Rajveer was casually walking back to his room avoiding much contact with anyone when suddenly out of nowhere Nair arrived, grabbed his collar and aggresively shoved him against the wall in a corner. "You think you're too smart don't you? after what you did you really thought I wouldn't know."
This news made Raj gulp as he couldn't make his mind up about whether Nair knew the whole truth or he just knew about what he had done on the island. "Wh..wh..what are you talking about?"
"Oh don't act so inncoent with me. I know what you had done on the island and then when your work was done you conviniently left from the place as if you wern't even involved. But you forgot one thing that I'm much smarter than you."
"Can you please let go of me," he struggled in his grip, "I wouldn't be talking about treachery if I were you because you're not so innocent yourself. it was you who in the first place had arranged those regional men to come and attack all of us."
Nair's colour began draining as he heard that and his grip on Rajveer was becoming loose.
"Yes I know what you've been up to too Major. I knew you were following us from the beginning and the whole boat fiasco was also your idea but unfortunately we were saved. Then we get trapped by these regional men and to our surprise find you already there. Now that is highly unsual for the R2 meter to
digest so I put two and two together and viola!!!! you're the big culprit maker. Then I do some bargaining of my own and when they've taken me hostage I tell them to turn the tables around and instead of me they make you the bait."
"But they beat you up like you were a piece of meat." Nair remembered how R2 had come back to the prison all messed up with blood coming out from all over.
Rajveer smirked, "you've got me and my skills to thank for that," he patted his own back, "I'd to make it look real now didn't I so I told them to beat me up but not in the same manner as they had beaten you."
"oh you think you deserve a medal," Nair looked at Raj indignantly, "you clown then why the hell did you save my life."
"You're so ungrateful. I saved your life and you're complaining as to why I did so. gosh there's nothing like humanity left around here. To make it clear I had no intention of saving your ass as I wanted it to be kicked badly but you see you seem to have a wellwisher who apparently can't see you in pain. It just makes me feel sick. Now if a beautiful woman like Naina comes and pleads to me to save your life then how can R2 say no to that?" he rolled his tongue in his cheek, "you should be thanking your lucky stars Major."
Nair didn't say anything and moved back a bit from him but didn't leave. R2 certainly knew more than he should and now he was going to be dead. Somehow he had to patch up with him in order to keep him under his control otherwise things could get out of hand. He grinned, put his arm around Raj's shoulder and then began walking. "I'm sorry R2 I should've said thank you to you."
Rajveer felt the sudden temperament change odd, "what's wrong with you? aaah I see you became afraid that I know too much isn't it?"
"oh come on, I'm not that low. I just realised my mistake and wanted to thank you from the bottom of my heart as if it wouldn't have had been for you then I wouldn't have stood here."
"Cut the crap major as we both know how thank ful you really are. Don't worry i wont pull your strings as that won't really benefit me now would it. but don't think I'll just let you go free as I can pull them whenever I feel like you're getting out of control."
Nair glared at Raj and attempted to crush him against the wall again, "Are you threatening me you..."
"Just stop it both of you." An annoyed Sonia arrived in front of them. She had come looking for R2 as after the night he had disappered in the morning. She didn't find him anywhere and Naina was also missing so she thought he must have gone after her as usual. She had to make sure he didn't get lured by her so she followed Nair back to the academy. There were two reasons, she wanted to meet R2 and she wanted to save him from Nair's raft. "this isn't the place to show your differences as others here don't know the truth." she spoke a bit low as she noticed passer by cadets.
"Atleast some of us still have the brains here." he looked at Sonia, "thanks darling but what are you doing here?" he was not happy to see her here as already Naina had become upset about last night and it was quite difficult to coax her. Now she'll get angry again seeing Sonia here with him.
"oh I just came to see you." she laughed like a teenager and Raj did the same thinking that this woman was certainly going to get it if she didn't leave.
He kept grinning and came closer to her, grabbed her upper arm and took her to the corner. "My dear if you come here so openly then we'll be exposed."
she wrapped her arms around his neck, "don't worry as I'm also a teacher in this KMA."
that came as a shock to him. This was not in the plan well atleast not the one Bharghav had told him. what was the baldy up to now? "he, he really, why wasn't I informed about this?"
"Oh Major Bharghav made some last minute changes as he thought it would better if you had some reinforcements in the KMA. after Naina's revolt he doesnt really trust her so he wants me to be with you all the time."
He just stood there thinking, "great, just great. first it wasn't enough of him sending one spy that now another one. Anyways he'll deal with this one the same way he dealed with the first but this one will be easier." he gave an evil grin and then touched Sonia's cheek affectionately. "Sweetheart you think so much for me that you came here just to protect me. don't worry I've got Naina wrapped around my finger."
"Oh really?" Naina stood in front of them with her arms folded across her chest. She gave a skinted look at Sonia and Raj knew that she wanted to come and kill her, especially because she was so close to him.
"Oh hello Naina," Sonia left Raj and stood in her face, "don't need to get all that with me okay as now you'll just have to bear with me. I'm going to be here in front of you 24/7 so don't even think about getting close to R2."
"As far as I'm concerned you can keep your R2 my dear and what the hell are you saying about being here 24/7?"
"You didn't get the news miss Hot Shot? let me tell you I've been assigned as the new gym teacher so I'll be here and for you I'll be ma'am so make sure you don't forget Cadet Naina Singh." She then walked away eyeing Rajveer with love.
Raj knew how much Naina was boiling inside and how she wanted to burst upon Sonia. Just as he thought that he could feel Naina going for it he caught hold of her and prevented her from doing anything of the sort. then he dragged her away to a near by store room which he knew would be private. "Calm down Naina, it'll just be foolish to go out there after her."
"Let go of me." she shrugged him of her aggressively, "I can't believe that ***** is here and what's this new crap she's talking about?"
"even i don't know. I guess Bharghav thought about all this at the end moment. You've got to control yourself in front of her otherwise the truth will come out. come on you've been doing it till now then why..."
"it's easy for you to say it but you don't know what happens to me when I see you with other women especially that Sonia." She turned away from him but he came closer and hugged her tight.
"No matter how many women I'm with they'll never be Naina. Din pura hoga to me sirf tumhaare paas aaoonga Naina and you know that. Mein tumhaara tha, tumhaara hu or tumhaara hee rahoonga. Ab to maine saat janam ka wada karliya hai tumse to phir koi Sonia aake hame alag kese karsakti hai?"
She had tears in her eyes after hearing what Rajveer said. She couldn't believe he loved her so much. "Why do you love me so much that sometimes I feel unworthy of it."
He pulled out and lifted her chin so he she was facing him, "My Naina is not unworthy of anything. My love is only her worth and if she thinks she is unworthy then Rajveer's exixtence is also unworthy. Don't ever say that again. Now give me a cute smile, come on." He waited patiently for her to smile but she didn't. "hmm looks like you need more persuasion, okay then." he bent down closer to her and captured her lips with his.
At first he was slow and gentle but as soon as he felt her responding back he deepened the kiss and made it more passionate. After a while he broke apart to allow them to breath, leaning both foreheads together. "Now madam do you have the confirmation that this Rajveer Singh Shekhawat is only and only yours?"
Naina held him tight and rested her head on his chest, "I don't need you to prove your love to me as I know in my heart. I'm sorry that I become impulsive sometimes but I'll keep control on myself."
He kissed her forehead and just held her as he didn't want that moment to end. He just wanted her to be that close to him all the time. "Raj." she spoke after a while.
"hmm?" he didn't want to ruin the moment.
"I know you want to to stay like this forever but you're forgetting where we are and we better get out of her before someone comes and catches us."
"what happened to miss firecracker all of a sudden huh? You became that neurotic damsel again." she in reply just smacked him on the chest, "aow Huda sahi naamse bulata hai tumhe Phoolan devi. Hai kya jore se maartee hai."
"Captain Rajveer Singh Shekhawat, I'm serious."
"Haiiiii! kitne pyaarse naam letee hai mera." He gave a sly smile and by the looks of it she knew he wanted to kiss her again but she couldn't let him as then certainly they'll get carried away and then everything would be over. She pushed him back and went for the door. He did try grabbing her but she escaped quickly giggling like a small girl.
Meanwhile Huda stood behind a wall over looking the whole drama. He had followed Naina out of the mess and had run into Rajveer with Nair and the new girl he didn't know of. He didn't hear everything as he was far but he could see some tention between Raj and Nair and then he saw how the other woman came and took Rajveer away with her. He couldn't understand what Raj was doing with another woman when he knew he loved Naina. Then he was even more surprised when he heard Sonia and Naina's conversation on keeping R2 to herself. Now who was this R2?
Something big was surely going on here and he had to find out before it was too late. Now as he was leaving he noticed a blushing Naina come out of a store room. What was she doing in there? Then he got the answers when he saw Rajveer also emerge out of that room and he looked as if he was sneaking around. Something was definitely mysterious and he had to reach the bottom of it. Somehow he could feel that Aalekh was also involved. He would keep an eye on him and Naina and see what exactly is going on.
When Rajveer entered his room finally, he wasn't going to be left alone as a phone call awaited him. His mobile rang as soon as he stepped foot inside and when he saw the caller he bit his teeth in frustration, "you must be wondering how I came out of that island alive."
"And a hi to you too." Bharghav grunted.
"Oh stop the small talk and tell me what you want as I'm really tired right now."
"What's wrong, sonny boy didn't get much sleep last night?" he mocked Raj making him even more angrier.
"none of your business baldy head, now get on with it." he wasn't pretending to be witty, he really was irritated to hear Bharghav's voice as the very presence of him damaged his psyche.
"Mind your tongue you little leech. don't forget who you're talking to and how I..."
"Of how you brought me here where I'm right now or I would've been rotting in jail, blah, blah, blah. now if your boring lecture is over can you get to the point."
"I want all four of you to come to the headquarters today." He ordered.
Rajveer thought that today he had to talk to Aalekh so he couldn't go today. "today won't be possible."
"And why is that?"
"Not that it's any of your concern but I'm just too tired from the excessive activities over the past few days and I just want a day off."
"Day off? from what life? listen mister you haven't been roped in for this job to enjoy yourself. Now stop with these lame excuses and get your's and all those three's..."
"it wouldn't hurt to be generous for a change. If the tiger gets tired it can't hunt anymore which causes him to be prey of others. so you tell me what do you want, an injured tiger or a well charged one?"
Bharghav thought about what Raj said and he did agree that he did need a fully charged one and right now he didn't want to argue with him, "fine you've got the day off today but I want all of you here tomorrow sharp at 1100 hrs. you got it." Saying that he cut the phone off.
Rajveer walked into his bedroom and without thinking he flopped himself on the bed on his stomach and closed his eyes thinking what exactly did Bharghav want with them now.
At 2240 hrs Naina crept out of her room quietly and made her way towards Aalekh's room making sure no one found her sneaking around. Aalekh also crept out of his room making sure Ali didn't wake up. They both met outside in the lobby and quietly walked out together towards the secret route that only Naina and Rajveer knew out of the academy.
Huda was strolling as he couldn't sleep. the thoughts of the activities earlier were disturbing him. He was coming back to the campus building when he saw two figures sneaking out from the back of the building. He walked up near and hid behind a bush and to his surprise he saw it was Naina and Aalekh. "What are they doing at this hour?" he thought as he continued watching them walk out of the academy. "kya soch raha Huda yahi waqt hai sachaai tak pohochne ka." he waited for Naina and Aalekh to have walked away to a distance and then he emerged out of the bushes and followed them.
Naina and Aalekh were following the route that Rajveer had left for them and Huda was following them. It was like a trail for treasure. At one time or two Huda made a noise by mistake but he easily covered it up. Naina being the sharp one realised instantly that they're being followed. She came closer to Aalekh and spoke low, "I think we're being followed. We'll be changing the route." she continued walking along with him as she didn't know anything. If somone was following them then that mean't someone in the academy knew about them. If Rajveer found out they were careless enough to let someone follow them then he'll be so vexed that he'll just...oh well what was done was done. Now she had to think how to get the person off their trail.
They had started climbing up the moutain and since it was really dark it was going to be easier as they got higher. She did signal Aalekh a few times to go seperate ways in order to mislead the follower.
At first Huda was following them but as it began getting dark he couldn't really make out where they went as he heard noises from all over the place. He heard some shuffling of feet on his left side and then he heard them on the right side. Then he also heard them in front of him. He became confused as to which one to follow. "aaj jo bhi ho mujhe pata lagana hee hai." he went with his instinct and followed the footsteps towards the left which apparently were of Naina's.
Rajveer was already up at point 1857 waiting patiently for both Naina and Aalekh. He was a bit skeptical to tell Aalekh the full truth but he had to tell him something. Perhaps he'll first find out what he knows and then if he knows too much then he'll have to tell him the full truth and take him under confidence. He kept looking at his watch and wondered what was taking them so long.
Aalekh had gone from the right just like Naina told him. He knew where he was going but he was still worried whether he'll reach the right place in this dark. What was this place and why was it so special for Naina and Rajveer that they had to choose this place. He knew what he had heard and now he wasn't going to let them lie to him anymore.
Similar thought processes were going through Huda's mind as he kept climbing blindly in the dark. He kept listening for the footsteps and kept going futrther. He didn't know where he was going but he knew that he was going to catch the truth any how today. He knew quite enough and now he was not going to let them lie to him anymore.
"What's taking them so long? i told her to be punctual." Rajveer kept talking to himself as he paced up and down at a spot. this place was called point 1857 because of the amount of lovers that had come there. It was a special place and this was the place where Naina had proposed to Rajveer, yeah it had been the other way around and then they had gotten married. He could still remember that day and a smile came on his face.
Then he became alert when he heard some foot steps coming from the right side and went into hiding just to make sure it wasn't anyone unexpected. When he saw it was Naina he blew a sigh of relief and came out. "What took you so long, you're ten minutes late."
She was catching onto her breath. "what could have I done it was pretty dark out there and well I...." she couldn't finish as another pair of feet were heard coming from the left so he grabbed Naina and hid in the same place as before.
They couldn't see anyone so became tensed. Naina bit her lip as she thought it could be the follower and now Rajveer will be cross with her but she had to tell him, "Raj I think someone was following us." she whispered.
When he heard that he looked at her with disbelief and then he pouted with anger, "what? how could you let that happen?"
"I didn't as when I found out I quickly changed routes with Aalekh going right and me going left. I thought it would divert the follower."
"But you came from the right and this person is coming from the left. Oh Naina what am I going to do now?" He began fretting about the fact Naina wasn't careful whilst she kept reminding him to think about how to get rid of the follower. in their argument they didn't even realise that the person had come near them and he came infront of them giving them a fright. "Oh for God's sake don't ever do that again Aalekh."
"i'm sorry but I was looking for you guys and found you here in this faint light so came over. Were you two planning on ditching me or something?"
Raj and Naina just exchanged glances with each other and then looked at Aalekh. They couldn't belive he could ever think they would go through so much just to get rid of him. It was so easy for him to do that but he wasn't going to do it. Now to the point he had to sit down with Aalekh and make sure both of them were on the same grounds.
"So what's this place?" he asked as he roamed around looking at the funny trees and ribbons tied around them.
Rajveer smiled and followed him, relieved that it wasn't the follower who had come. "this place cadet Aalekh is lover's paradise. It has been a point of lovers from the academy and..."
"is this the place where you got married with Naina?"
Rajveer paused after hearing that, so his assumption was correct, Aalekh did know quite a lot and he had to know the whole truth. "Why don't we get to that later. Right now let me tell you something else."
Aalekh gave Raj a whimsical look as if he didn't trust him or something.
Perhaps he was just trying to lure him towards a different track but he wasn't going to let go so easily. "Wait first I want to know where exactly had Naina disappeared to from the past few days, actually both of you were gone then all of a sudden you guys come back and lay this big bombshell."
"Hey you wern't supposed to find out." Naina came forward.
"If you romance in the open daylight and that too on the dangerous grounds of the KMA, what do you expect? You should be grateful that it was me who heard you and no one else. Another thing who was that other woman with you in the corridoor and why did she keep calling you R2?"
Rajveer sat down and put his hand over his head. This guy practically knew alot and now before he made anymore assumptions it was about time to tell him the truth. Just then a noise of breaking branch was heard followed by a squeal. All three of them stood up and looked towards the place the noise came from and panicked. What if it was the follower and what if they had heard everything Aalekh was blabbering.
"AAaaaaah help! help!" Huda screamed for help as he hung on the edge of the cliff. When he reached the top of the point he saw Rajveer, Naina and Aalekh standing together and discussing something. They weren't far so he was able to catch most of it and plus Aalekh was speaking quite loud. He lost his balance after hearing the marriage part and then it became even worse when he heard him talk about Rajveer being R2. Now he hung there cursing himself for being so careless and now he'll get caught and won't find out the truth.
Rajveer told Naina and Aalekh to stay where they were and he'll go and check out who was there. He walked carefully and then as he reached the edge he got a surprise. "Cadet Huda? what the hell are you doing here?"
"uhh Sir I don't really have an interest of hanging from cliffs at the middle of the night. i was actually ummm following you guys."
He couldn't believe it. one wasn't enough that another one found out too. "Just great Naina, look we've got another one who's found out."
"It's not my fault you know." She defended herself as it really wasn't her fault that Huda found out. She did try her best for the follower to loose way but he didn't.
Huda struggled to hang on and was displeased with all of them that they were arguing instead of helping him. "sir if you don't mind I'm kind of stuck here." he spoke with gritting teeth but then Rajveer glared at him which made him gulp.
"hold your horses cadet I'm helping you. You shouldn't have been here in the first place so you better keep your mouth shut before I change my mind of saving you." Rajveer put his hand out for Huda to catch it and come up.
Once he was up he sat down and rubbed his scathed skin and then he looked up at three faces who didn't look quite pleased with him.
"What are you doing here Huda?" Naina inquired whilst folding her hands over her chest.
"I was following you guys." he spoke matter of factly.
"What? you're the limit Huda and..."
"what else could've I done. i mean both of you guys were acting so strange in the mess and then I found Rajveer sir in the corridoor with a strange lady and then I found both of you together coming out of a room. Now tell me what am I to make out of that?"
Both Naina and Rajveer exchnaged glances again as they had done with Aalekh and then she blushed after thinking about the store room incident. luckily it was dark so no one was able to see her flushed cheeks.
"Alright that's it enough of quarelling. i guess now that both of you know quite a bit I think it's time you know the whole truth. but before that i need to take vows from you two to keep this information as confidential. And remember if this gets leaked out before time then I won't think before picking up my gun." Rajveer explained to both of them making them shiver. it wasn't because of the cold but because of the danger in Raj's eyes.
They both swore they won't tell a soul. then Rajveer sat down and made preparation for the truth spell to be continued.
