Armaan woke up suddenly hoping that what had happened the night before was a bad dream. How had this happened. As each minute passed while conversing with his Baba he felt that he was digging a hole for himself deeper and deeper.
According to Armaan, Riddhima and he had fallen in love after completing the internship.
How did he explain his relationship with Anjali...there was none. The close proximity that Baba witnessed between Armaan and Anjali was a figment of his Baba's imagination.
When did Armaan and Riddhima marry. Armaan had explained to his Baba that they had had a court marriage a little before Dr. Sushank Gupta left for Afghanistan. Riddhima wanted to wait before springing this new on her father until he got back safe and sound. Armaan had just gone along with it. His Baba had been satisfied with his answers.
His Grandfather insisted on staying the night, he wanted to eat his first ever breakfast from his Grand Bahu's hands. Armaan felt as if he was going to pass out from all the lying. They had gone to sleep with that.
Armaan realised that everything that had happened had been a reality. None of it was a dream, according to his Grandfather, Dr. Mahesh Malik, Riddhima S. Gupta had become Riddhima A Malik..What was he going to tell Basket.
Armaan rose quickly, got ready and left a note for his Grandfather with some bagels and spread.
"Baba, Sorry had to leave really early. Riddhima is pulling a double shift and I have been called in. We're both going to all over the place in the hospital..so we'll see you tonight...dinner at 8pm...Love Armaan. "
Another Lie.
Armaan rushed to the hospital, he had to see Riddhima before anyone else did...before his Baba did.
He raced into the locker room and noticed that Riddhima had not even arrived for her morning shift yet. He would wait. He would wait and try to figure what he was going to say to Riddhima and how he was going to stay alive past 8pm.
At the Gupta Residence:
Anjali: Riddhima...hurry up mera breakfast kahan ha?
Ridz: Here it is.....Aap ka saman sabh pack hoa chuka...
Anjali: Haan...yeh medical camp ve na...atleast this time koi jungle mein nahin khoa jayegah...
Anjali rolled her eyes at Riddhima..."Is baar mein Dr. keerti koa impress karongee..aur thum dekhlena..voh bas mera naam japdhee reh jayegee.
Ridz laughed at his sister's effor to try to control Dr. Keerti mood swings and mind.
Ridz: aap kabh loa toongai?
Anjali: Is barh, medical camp purah 1 week ka hai..enough time to get Dr. Keerti to like me.
Ridz: well good luck....i wish you the best...
Ridz quickly ate her toast and headed out the door.....
Anjali: Ridzy, Armaan koa ve bathadhena kai mein ik hafte kai lay jahrahein hoon.
Ridhima looked back she couldn't believe that Anjali hadn't even mentioned it to Armaan yet.
Ridz: Okay. Bathadoo gee.
Anjali: thanks sweetie! Anjali shouted as she left to get into her taxi.
Ridz felt sad for Armaan....she ventured out begin her day at Sanjeevani and felt as she would be seeing some really cases today...cases that will challenge her strength...she smiled and couldn't wait for the challenges of today.
Armaan was sitting waiting in the locker room......The door swung open and in walked the person he hoped would help get out of this mess...
Armaan: Riddhima
Riddhima looked straight at Armaan.
Ridz: Tum teek tho ho...mein Basket sai, unbeautiful sai, anjali's sister sai Riddhima kabh banee...Bimar hoa.
Armaan: Riddhima...I'm sorry for hurting you before.
Riddhima smiled, armaan had acknowledged hurting her.
Armaan: maine ik bahut bharee galthee ke hai. jisai kee vaja sai yan mein maroonga yah phir koi aur.
Ridz: Just smile at whoever you hurt and i'm sure everything will be okay...Thum kaam parh kya karh rahe hoa...thumari toh aaj off day hai...
Armaan: haan..yehi toh bhath hai...I'm in trouble aur sirf ik thum hoa joh mujhe bacha sakhthee hoa...mujhe batha sakhdee hoa ki mein kya karoon, kya kahoon...i need you.
Riddhima looked up surprising when she heard Armaan say that he needed her. She had always needed Armaan. To rescue her from Vikram, to resuce her from the jungle, to console her after Vijay died, to just want to be with her...you didn't have to get everything in life..but she was so grateful for Armaan, but what had changed now that Armaan needed her.
Ridz: Kiya hoa......thum mera rang ve uthrah sa hai....
Armaan: Bhaath yeh hai Riddhima, Baba meri shaadi jaldee karna chaathein hain...aur maine kaha mein nahin karh shaadi nahi kar saktha kyun ki mein already shaadi shuda hoon....
Ridz: bewakoor...itna bhara jhooth or voh ve baba sai....thumare dimaag kaam kartha hain ke nahin...
Armaan: ummmmmmmmmmmm lagtha dimaag thoa kabka bhand honai laga...ummmmmmm Riddhima, Baba kai doctors nai kaha he ki unki health bahut nazook hai...or voh mujhe force kar rahe the shaadi ke liye...ise lai maine kaha mein already shaadhi shudha hai...
Ridz: acha...thoa aap biwi kahan sai layengai.....
Armaan: that's the problem Riddhima...Baba yeh sochthe hai kai meri dharam patni thum hoa....
Riddhima looking behind her: Kaun...
Armaan raised his hand and pointed at Riddhima half smilingly: Thum....Riddhima...Thum.
Riddhima opened her mouth to say something but was so shocked that words were not just coming out...she was stunned, and rooted to the spot..
Armaan and Riddhima looked at each other for what seemed like long long long minutes...until Riddhima was finally able to talk....
Part 7: Riddhima speaks with Sapna, Armaan speaks with his Baba and is really to spill the truth whilst fearing what this will do to his health....Both Riddhima and Armaan are afraid of what will happen next.
