Ritu stepped towards him and was stunned by his words.
"What did you say?? Naina kuch nahi kahegi!!!"
"It's time, I must leave!!" He tries to cut the topic off.
"What do you think you are doing?? Raj ke liye uska ek chota sa promise nahi tod sakte tum??"
"You don't realize the gravity of the situation Ritu!! Naina agar sabki nazron me aa gayi to us se hazaar sawaal kiya jayenge jinka jawaab uske paas nahi hoga. Media uske missing hone ke case ko aur bhi uchalegi because she herself was a journalist!!"
"That means you know where she is right??"
"Yes I do!! But I can't tell you!!"
"Oh come on Aalekh you can't do that!! Tell me where is Naina?? Kya Raj ko mission me support karne wali mystery woman vohi hai??"
Aalekh didn't say anything but his expression said it all.
"I got my answer Aalekh…..bas ab mujhe itna batao ki Naina se mai kab mil sakti hun??"
Aalekh stared at her in amazement and knew that now he may not be further able to keep his promise.
"Shyaam tum camera theek se adjust karo………ye sab focus me aana chahiye!!" She yelled at her subordinate.
"Madam, aap jabtak chutti pe thin naa, poore maheene mujhe shaanti thi!!"
"Ab shaanti ko bhool jaao aur Naina ko yaad rakho samjhe!!"
"Par madam, aap kya kisi ko dhoondh rahe ho??"

"Koi nahi milega madam…………Aaahhh…………" He shouted as a stone came and hit his head.
She could hear the voices of people progressing with rage and anger………substantiating the riots.
"Shyaam tum theek to ho??"
"Madam bhaagiye yahan se………yahan rukne wala haal nahi hai!!" He requested as he ran.
"Par………" She looked at him running and then looked at the crowd prancing. They began their usual………hurting innocents, damaging public and private property………and Naina, a simple small-town girl who was new to this world, kept staring at the oodles of hatred they displayed.
"I'm sorry bhaiya!! Now I know your reasons well…………par ab bahut der ho chuki hai………mai aapko kho chuki hun………par aapka mission adhura nahi rehne dungi!! I'll find him!!" She said to herself as a tear trickled down her eyes. She wiped it off instantly, "Where are you Captain Shekhawat??"
She hid herself behind a tree but was scared to hell seeing the happenings around. Since she had already wasted a lot of time, she had no place to secure herself. Soon she could see a bus being set to fire right opposite that tree and couldn't suppress her shout at that sight!! She closed her eyes and squeezed herself as she could see no other way, till someone held her hand.
"Get up and move!!" He literally commanded her.
She raised her head to see but the man had covered his face with a muffler. All she could see was………his deep black eyes portraying immense determination. He was also carrying a child in his other arm. She gave in to his command and they rushed away from the place. He managed to save her from a few blows and finally they reached a lonely outfield which was quiet and thankfully, not vulnerable to those deadly riots.
"Hhhh………hhhhhhhh………Thanks!!" Said Naina.
He didn't reply but began calming that child down.
"Ise mujhe deejiye!!" Naina took the child from his arms "Kya naam hai iska??"
"Mai nahi jaanta!!" He replied.
"To iska matlab aapne meri tarah he is ajnabee ki jaan bhi bachayi!!" She smiled at him.
He stood up and stepped foreward.
"Aap kahan jaa rahe hain??"
"Kareeban 4 ghanton me raasta shaant ho jayega, tab mai aapko vahiin chod dunga!!"
"Lekin aap hain kaun, aur kis se chup rahe hain??"
"Agar aap jaantin ki mai kaun hun, to shaayad mere saath nahi aatin!!" He smiled sarcastically.
Naina placed the child safely on the grass and went up to him. The determination in his eyes was replaced by wetness. Both of them stood looking at each other for a while and he didn't even realize when Naina's hands unveiled his identity.
"Captain Rajveer Singh Shekhawat???" She was surprised as she wasn't prepared for meeting him like this.
But Rajveer wasn't surprised. He was prepared to be recognized by anyone and everyone due to the excessive media attention his identity received these days.
Naina was ecstatic as it was her first step towards her brother's last wish, "Mai Naina!! Naina Singh Ahluwalia!!!"
Rajveer could make out the surname very well………after all, it was associated with his best friend's name. And the name Naina, he had heard that quite a number of times from him.
"Aapne sahi pehchaan, mai Captain Navin ki he behen Naina hun!!" She could read the recognition in his eyes.
Aalekh drove Ritu down to Aashiyana. He was still not sure of what he was doing but still, he did it as he too began spotting hope in the wake of Ritu's determination.
"Yahiin hai Naina!!" He sounded depressed.
"Rehabilitation centre me??? Is she all right??" Ritu sounded worried.
"Raj contacted me once more. Months after Navin's death!!"
"Kya kaha usne?"
"Navin ko kahiin na kahiin apne aane wale waqt ka andesha ho gaya tha Ritu!! Isliye usne is mission se related saare sabot safe kar diye!!"
"Vo kaise??"
"He sent them to Naina. His sister." Saying this he handed her a letter.
Ritu began reading it, "Dear Naina…..Mai jaanta hun tu mujhe aur meri job ko kabhi samajh nahi paayegi sis. Tujhse har pal dur rehne ka gham tujhse zyaada mujhe hai!! "Naina being a Journalist with Times Group, began her mission courageously. Usne Raj ko dhoondh bhi liya. Lekin jab Raj ne mujhse, Naina ko bachane ke liye madad maangi…….." Aalekh stopped as he knew the further would hurt her a lot.
