College Dance

All 10 sat in the hall after another session of dance practice..the event would be held in only 1 week's time.
the college dance was going to be held soon and everyone had to have a partner to enter. the ten students who were at dance practice had no idea of the dance as they were busy preparing for exams (girls) or bunking (boys)
all were sitting in a circle when Janki devi came in.
Jd: i am extreemly happy that all of you are so busy in your practice that none of you have noticed the college welcome dance is tonigght!

all choked on their drinks....WHat!!!
Jd was freaked out...calme down...
Manthan: but what about our partners?
Anju: well there's 10 of us so...
Adi, Manthan and prem got out of their seat and headed towards the girls...
Abhir and soham who were next ot bhoomi adn anju grabbed hold of them
Anju: ooookay...
Prem went towards nisha but manthan ran to her and jumped into the space next to her.
Prem than tried to go to maithili but Adi grabbed her shoulder. now only mukti was left...she was not even in the room anymore...she left as soon as Jd came in. Prem just stood there as there was no one else left
just then Zara burst into the dance studios......

Zara: hey PREM!!!!!
Prem rolled his eyes "o god!!!!!"
P: zara...which part of leave me alone...do you not understand?!?!?
Z: o come one Prem (completely ignoring what prem said) i found out the "mukti being your girlfriend" was all a joke----the whole college knows you two cannot be bf and gf.
P: no no no no...
just then mukti came in through the door holding a bowl of noodles in her hand.
everything was quiet and she just looked up startled at everyone.
Prem rushed to her......and grabbed her waiste. without letting mukti say anything, he kissed her on her cheek
P :see ZARA she is my girlfriend
Mukti was shocked..from the kiss and then at Prem calling her his girlfriend
M: look...
Prem interrupted her: look....Zara just leave us alone!!!
Z: oh...right then!!! i think she'll be comming to the dance with you then?!? and if she dose'nt,,,then Prem...you know who i am RIGHT!!!
Zara stormed out of the room and everything was quiet once again...........
Prem looked at mukti, then one by one at all his friends. without a word of warning he dropped to his knees and held mukti's hands
P: mukti...mukti pls come with me to the dance...or else..that Zara won't leave me..she's killing me with all her forceful hugs and kisses...pls
mukti and the others could not believe what prem was doing they all just burst out laughing.
Prem got up and mukti agreed...

Adi loosened his grip of maithili...and held her hands
A: so maithili....you know the dance...well i just wanted to ask if yu would come with me..you know..like..like umm...a friend!! adi took about 5 mins to say all this. Maithili just laughed out at this but agreed

SOham and Abhir whispered into anju's and bhoomi's ear and it was too hard for the girls to resist so they nodded in agreement. Now only manhtna and nisha were left
Manthan darted his arm across Nisha's shoulder....
M: you know you'd rather come with me to the dance than not go at all...
N: i might do..
M: ohh playing hard to get i see
N: for hte likes of you...yes...
saying that she left
M "was that a yes or no?"

In the evening, all the girls went to Nisha's house to dress-up and Abhir was "kicked out" of his own house because none of hte girls wanted any of the guys to even have a sneak preview of what they were going to wear to the dance. It was 5:00 and the guys were all in Abhir's bedroom...(they sneaked into the house from the back, by climbing up a ladder)
Ab: how can the girls do that? i mean this is MY HOUSE!!
M: i know...i mean its YOUR HOUSE
P: ye YOUR HOUSE!!
Ad: totally,YUOR HOUSE
Soham: absolutly..YOUR HOUSE
for the next moment there was silence then the boys just burst out laughing. they tugged each other and shut eachother's mouths so as to not make any sound.
they quitened down when they heard the girl's voices.
It seemed they were all in the hall. The guys lined up chairs in the upstair's corridoor and put down the veil. They had a clear view of all the girls in the hall but the girls could not see them.
The girls shut all the curtains in the hall and started giggling
Ab: what are they up to?
