Part 22
Weeks pass after coming back from dream world and tryouts for the college's varsity football team were on. Dev, angad, and Prithivi all tried out and they all got in. one day after practice they were in the boy's locker room, when angad went up to Prithivi.
A- hey Prithivi , sorry about the punch, no hard feeling aye
P- nah of course not
A- thanks, so you like kripa huh he said with a grin
P- yeh, thinking no you do
A- well good luck in getting her, oh before I leave ignore what I said at dream world , she's your girlfriend you can do whatever you want with her, who am I to say, anyway gotta leave have a date tonight, and with that he left
P-(thinking) s***, the plans not working, he calls up kripa and tells the situation who had a fit over the phone cursing angad out.
After kripa's last class is over she goes back into her dorm room, thinking about angad
K- so he wants to play like this fine, what do I care. Okay so I do, and who the heck is he going on a date with, when Kaajal comes in
Ka- hey kripa didn't see you at the caf today
K- oh ye was doing some work
Ka- alrite, oh um me dev n angad and his date are going to the movies and then to the beach later
K- oh kewl that's nice
Ka- yeh so anyway you want to come, bring Prithivi with you
K- sure she said smiling
Ka- alrite well I'm going to get ready okay
K- yeh alrite
An hour later both were ready, Kaajal wearing jeans with a black halter, and kripa who wore a denim skirt with a white tank and jacket, she had called Prithivi before and he was cool with it.
Both Kaajal and kripa were picked up by dev as Prithivi said he would meet kripa at the movies, halfway to the movies kripa got a call:
K- hello
P- hey its Prithivi
K- oh hey you nearly there
P- um about that I can't go go study for one of my classes I forgot we had had an exam tomorrow, really sorry, and he hanged up avoiding to listen to kripa yell and scream art him.
Where kripa was already making a plan to kill him, "great" she thought , now what was she to do, she'd be like the odd one out
Ka- who was it
K- Prithivi
Ka- is he there
K- no he is not coming
D- Oh that's a shame well dw you'll have fun anyway
Ka- yeh, we nearly there dev
D- babe you've asked me that like three time, it's getting annoying
Ka- fine but just to le you know I'm not talking to you, and don't even sit by me at the movies
D- no no, I'm sorry okay I take it back ask as many times you want and I reply okay hun
Ka-that's more like it
K- wow whipped or what
D- hey I'm not the only one, angad totally whipped with his new gf, I think his serious this time
K(thinking) – oh no he didn't, how long has he know that witch
Ka- oh really I thought they met recently
D- well I don't know but that's what he said, anyway guess what sweety were here aren't you excited
Ka- stop it or else pay the consequences
K- okay stop fighting let's go
All three went inside where they found angad with a girl she indeed was pretty
Ka- whispering to kripa, " she's pretty huh?
K- yeh well if you think a pig's pretty then surely
Ka- what
K- nothing lets go
They all went up to him, leaving angad grinning when he saw kripa dateless
A- hey guys, this is sheetal,
S- hey
D,Ka,K- hey
A- so kripa where's your lover boy Prithivi
K- what's it to you
A-nothing I was just asking ,kripa replying by rolling her eyes
They all went inside, the seating was like this dev-kajjal-kripa-angad-sheetal.
Great, kripa thought to herself she was in between both couples , as the movie was going on kripa who now sure angad was whiped for sheetal after watching them romance, should she just give up on him I mean they had no chance face it, after an hour or so the movie ended. They all headed for the beach with ice-cream around 10pm dev and Kaajal walked ahead, while angad and sheetal walked after them holding hands, kripa who felt out of place, and heart broken," wow I never knew liking some one could hurt that bad", she thought, " I guess it's no point I'll give up, it should be easy anyway it's not like I love me, now that would have been bad", she said thinking following the couples behind enjoying her ice-cream , when angad turned and ran back to the car to get something, kripa who was looking at the sand eating her ice-cream didn't notice sheetal who had stop right in front of waiting for angad to come back
Bam!!, the ice cream was all over sheetal's top
K- oh I'm so sorry
S- oh no it's fine you didn't see me
K- no seriously , are you sure your top's okay
Angad who came back saw sheetal's top
A- what happened
S- oh nothing kripa accidentally bumped into me
A- god kripa can't you walk properly , gosh spoil the whole that seriously why don't you just go home, your like the fifth wheel anyway, no wonder Prithivi didn't come probably found a better girl than you, come on babe lets go clean you up, I'm sure there's something in the car. He said taking sheetal with him.
Kripa on the other hand felt tears , why was he so mean, they always fought but today was just harsh, it wasn't even her fault, she needed to go away, she ran a different way to the water, falling down to the ground as the water washed over her leg, she sat crying silently , remembering his words" why don't you just go home , your like the fifth wheel anyway, no wonder Prithivi didn't come probably found a better girl than you" ouch it hurt.
And that's what she did, she went back to the hostel after tracking down a cab , she packed her clothes from the dorm room, wrote a note to Kaajal telling her she was going home for the weekend, and she left before anyone could stop her.
Saturday night , dev Kaajal, angad and sheetal went to a club,
D- hey wassup bro, hey sheetal
Ka- hey guys
A- wassup
S- hey
S- oh where umm kripa she didn't come today, I felt bad about yesterday
Ka- oh what happened
A- nothing
Ka- well she went home she said she needed a break, but I doubt she going to come back
A- why?
K- well she sounded upset on the phone when I talked to her so I don't poor thing
S- hope she's alright
D- come hun lets go dance
Ka- sure
They both left leaving sheetal and angad together who followed them to the dance fall , angad who kept thinking about kripa, maybe he shouldn't have said what he said he didn't know why he said that actually when he spots Prithivi on the other side dancing with a girl,
A- hey sheetal I'll be right back
And he walks over to Prithivi who soon spots him, P- hey angad wassup, A- nothing much, don't mind me asking but shouldn't you be dancing with kripa I mean after she is your girlfriend , P- no have I ever actually said she was, everyone just seems we are, she's like a close friend , A- oh okay hey I got to go.
Angad walked over to sheetal saying sorry he had to be somewhere, and he left for Kripa's house, and after two hours he finally reached her place. He got out hope the keys were still in the same place when he used to work for her, and yep he was right, he opened the back door and got in. and spotted kripa watching TV down stair he her pink nightie short and white tank with her hair in a bun , her fringe laying on her forehead.
A- kripa, kripa turned around a bit startled at first then angry
K- get out before I call the police, who do you think you are for breaking in or should I say trespassing
A- shut up and listen to me, what's wrong with you we always fight why are you acting like a sore loser seriously
K- what would you know, nothing you're a pathetic arrogant self centered cow
A- oi miss universe you know what your problem is
K- yes I do
A- oh yeh then what is it
A- come on what is it
A- what cat got ya tongue
A- come on tell me!!
K- MY PROBLEM IS THAT I'M ATTRACTED TO YOU, I HAVE FREAKEN FEELINGS FOR YOU , she screamed
K- happy gosh I hate you
Kripa turned around to avoid angad, where angad walked over to her and slid his hands around her waist turning her to face him face to face,
A- you know what your real problem is that, your so dumb , you didn't think I know you were trying to make me jealous,
Kripa looked up at him as his hand touched her cheeks,
A- I have something to confess, I too am attracted to you, I actually got jealous when you were close with Prithivi
( *JUST TO MAKE A NOTE THEY DON'T LOVE EACH YET , THEY ARE ONLY ATTRACTED TO EACH OTHE, HAVE FEELINGS BUT THEY DON'T KNOW IT'S LOVE LOL SO IT'S MORE LIKE A LIKE THING LOL IF IT MAKES SENSE*)
K- you were?
A- yep, he said chucking causing kripa to giggle
Angad got down on one knee and took Kripa's hands , A- will you my miss universe o out with me?
Kripa smiled and nodded leading to a soft kiss on the lips,
A- okay we have a problem though, we can't tell anyone, because sheetal she really likes me I think, so I have to think and somehow break it off
K- okay I understand , but hurry up or else I won't wait
A- too bad I'll force you he said carrying her to the sofa placing her on his lap as they continued to watch movies, later that night both returned to the dorms.
