Part 2:

Angad and Kripa were in same college. Angad was doing his masters in architecture engineering while Kripa was doing her bachelor degree in same course. He was among the group of seniors who ragged her and her friends on there first day of college. It was there first encounter but even then both of them felt some thing different within themselves.

They didn't even realize when the feelings grew and they fell madly in love. The tears of happiness that Kripa shed on the day Angad proposed her were there on the day of there marriage as well that took place two weeks later. Angad's parents were the most wonderful in laws; they came over for a month from India and then returned back. But gave her the love of parents, which she always desired for.

Angad even agreed to live with her in her apartment when she told him that how emotionally she was attached to this small home of hers. According to her she was the happiest married woman ever. There house wasn't big or luxurious but it had warmth and love of a home. They worked hard all day in office and romanced harder all night at home.

Of coarse they had there share of fights. But they were never too big. She clearly remembered there first big fight. They were supposed to go out for a cozy dinner to celebrate there anniversary and approval of his project's design but she cancelled it at the last minute because Mrs. Bose suddenly fell ill and Prithvi required her help to look after her. Angad became pretty mad at her but as usual a little pampering and he was hers. He never liked Prithvi…they never became friends but used to bear each other nonetheless for her sake. Angad thought Prithvi was too interfering and I was far too attached to Bose family. If only he understood her.

He was ambitious. She was homely and content. Angad was working hard on a crucial project. He was focusing on it all day and night for weeks. She tried to be understanding but failed. Work isn't everything. It was for Angad. She started having lunch with the Bose family since lady wasn't keeping well and Kripa needed company too. The day Angad submitted project, he was really happy. He came home with a bright smile and excitement. He repented of neglecting Kripa all these weeks and wanted to make it up…help her with the house-hold chores, cook for her, and make love to her like never before. But to his dismay she wasn't home. She had to stay back with Mrs. Bose whole night since Prithvi was out of town. But Angad refused to understand her.

Another problem was there home. It was pretty old and plaster of roof and walls was falling off. The area wasn't a very clean one as well. The area was being industrialized, so air wasn't clean too. Angad was dying to move out and was forcing Kripa. But she refused. There were so many memories attached with this home of hers. Her parents, childhood, teenage and marital life. For Angad it was a worn out useless cottage.

Two days before there separation they had another fight which also became there last fight.

"Kripa I have seen a very nice apartment pretty spacious ad in a nice area." Angad said hoping for a positive response at the breakfast table.

"Angad I have told you…I can't leave this home." Kripa tried to convince him.

"Please Kripa…what is in this home…I mean its nothing but shabby cottage. I am sure you will like new house better than this."

"Angad a house is much more than four walls…its about love and memories. Angad how can u forget the moments we spend together in this house…our first dance together, our first night, and our first fight …it has witnessed it all."

"Stop this nonsense. Yaadein insaanon se banti hain ghar se nahi. But is it really memories or something else." Angad said with hint of sarcasm.

"What do you mean…" Kripa was interrupted by door bell.

Kripa quickly wiped the tears welling in her eyes and rushed to open the door.

"Prithvi tum…" Kripa said seeing Prithvi on the door.

"Kripa mom needs to go to shopping for some necessary reasons can you accompany her since I am little busy."

"Of course she will, kyun Kripa" Angad replied with bitterness before she cud respond.

"Oh hi Angad…" Prithvi said disinterested on seeing him.

"hi Prithvi…lekin why are you being so formal…are tum Kripa ke itne kareeb ho…to mujhse aisi naraazgi kyun" he said with a smirk.

"Well Angad after all me and Kripa are best friends…so kareeb to honge hee" Prithvi said in same tone.

"Hope u maintain ur friendship even when we leave from here."

"What Kripa are u leaving???"

"No I am not Prithvi…I am not going anywhere." Kripa said sternly eyeing Angad.

"haan haan why u wud go anywhere Kripa……. Leaving Prithvi" Angad said with hatred.

"ANGAD…"

"What Kripa did I say something wrong…" Angad said smiling sarcastically.

"Stay in ur limits Angad" said Prithvi.

"U stay in ur limit Prithvi…don't u dare speak between me and my wife or else…" Angad said angrily pointing finger at him.

"ANGAD… mind ur language" shouted Kripa.

"kyon…cant u see ur beloved being insulted by ur husband" Angad shouted back.

"ANGAD"

"o god Kripa I was so damn foolish…the way prithvi came rushing to you for every little thing and the way u was always eager to help him…any body cud have told that u two were having an affair…but I…I actually trusted you. Ha . You…you whore."

Slap.

Kripa slapped him right across his face and that did it. Angd left and then returned with a separation document after two days.

She asked him to divorce her rather than carrying this burden of unwanted marriage. What is the use of such a relationship?

All she got back was an evil smirk and his harsh words. "A divorce…so that u can happily marry ur beloved bas***d…no Kripa khanna. U will have to suffer the punishment of ditching me. Love whoever you want but u will always remain Kripa Khanna, my wife." And he left her.

Zindagi ke safar mein bichad jate hain jo mukam phir nahi aate….phir nahin aate.
