Part 3:

Kripa entered through the main door of the office and the first sight that caught her eyes was josh flirting with one of the employees as usual. She went to her desk and within a minute josh was in front of her with a flirtatious smile plastered on his face.

"Hi sweety , have I told u that u r looking exceptionally pretty today." Josh said winking.

"Really josh, u said same thing yesterday." Kripa said smiling.

Josh was to make another flattering comment when the large glass door of office clicked open and he walked in, as handsome as ever. All the eyes stared at him with an obvious respect that his personality commanded, as he walked through the office passage towards Mr. Rutherford's cabin in the most dignified way ever, in his classy white Armani suit with his left hand tugged in the pocket of his trousers. It looked like all the staff which was frozen on seeing him suddenly came to life as soon as he entered the cabin. All but Kripa resumed there work with little whispering here and there if this was that Mr. Angad khanna, there colleague Kripa was married to. His image continued to flash before Kripa's eyes. He was still the same only more handsome and dashing. He has grown a little stubble which made him look more manly and desirous. She didn't know why but she felt him glancing at her and josh with the corner of his eyes while crossing her desk

After sometime staff watched Angad coming out of Mr.Rutherford's cabin and walking to another cabin which was newly furnished for the company's new boss which was him. A bit later Kripa was called in Mr. Rutherford's cabin. She knocked on the door and went inside. The kind old man welcomed her with a greeting smile. Kripa smiled back. He was always a fatherly figure for her. God knows how much she was gonna miss him after his retirement. Like everyone else he also knew the relationship she and Angad shared. But unlike others he was far more understanding and supportive. He asked her to sit down and she obeyed. With affection he glanced at her and said "Kripa u r lovely girl and a wonderful employee. Very soon I would be retiring and u already have a new boss. I am sure u will serve him with same dedication and professionalism. But dear no relationship has an end. Angad's arrival can be sign to you from god and respect the opportunity laid before you instead of blaming it on your ill fate. I am saying this to you because u r like a daughter to me. God bless you."

Kripa smiled at old man's gesture and went out reflecting at his words.

After a few hours Angad sent for an employee to take notes. And incidentally it was Kripa's shift to this particular work at that time. She went towards his cabin with trembling legs, nervousness taking better of her with each passing moment. She knocked on the door preparing herself for the encounter. A strong manly dominating voice roared from inside "come in".

She went inside and saw him sitting behind his large desk doing something on his laptop. He raised his eyes to spare her one look and signaled her to sit down. He closed his laptop and ordered her to writ whatever he was dictating.

Kripa held her notebook and pen and started to write the note which was infact an apology letter to one of the clients for canceling a meeting. To her great annoyance Angad was dictating at an exceptionally fast speed which made her lost track of the letter midway and she had to ask to repeat. And of course he repeated but not before telling her that what a slow employee she was. It was first time in her job when she was labeled as slow.

However she completed the task and when she was about to go away she heard his voice again.

"By the way Mrs. Khanna this office pays u for the office work u do, not for chatting around and I am saying this in reference to what I saw in the morning. Hope u will mind it for the future." He said.

"I am sorry… sir" Kripa said trying to held the tear that was about to left her eye because of the insult and walked away.

Kripa stretched herself on the stool trying to fix a wall hanging in its place when she heard the keys moving in the lock of her home's door. She froze when reality sank in. Only one person apart from her had the keys of this house in this whole wide world and in heart of hearts she knew who he was. Angad Khanna.

Rahon mein unse mulaqat ho gayi….jis se darte the wahi baat ho gayiiii…
