kk guys i had forgotten a lil abt this ff 😆...i'll post the first part today!!

Aage bhi jane naa tu, peeche bhi jaane na tu…jo bhi hai bas yehi ek pal hai…

Part 1:

Kripa hastily slipped the comb and a lipstick in her purse and glanced at her watch. Prithvi could be here any moment to pick her up. Ahh…Prithvi how he had been with her through all thick and thin…she knew he liked her and wished she could reciprocate his feelings but she can't and he knew that, but poor man never stopped trying. She glanced at herself for a moment in the mirror and went to reply to the door bell that just rang indicating his arrival.

They marched outside to his car and off they went to khandelwal residence for the dinner. She hated to celebrate the festivity away from home but she hated it more to celebrate alone…it made her miss him more. Though she wasn't a Christian but still Easter wasn't an occasion to celebrate alone. Both of them leaped out as they arrived at their destination and Rajeev and Aamna escorted them in like good hosts. They had a peaceful dinner after which both the men went to other room to have drinks and have some political discussions while ladies remained behind and engaged themselves in some general gossip.

"U know Kripa I have a happy news to share with you…you know one of your friends is pregnant." Aamna said collecting the dishes.

"O my god…that's so awesome but which one" Kripa asked enthusiastically.

"Guess…guess" Aamna said as she walked to sink, dumped the utensils and returned to take a seat beside Kripa.

"Hmmm…let me guess. Cynthia…no its been hardly a week since her marriage…umm mukthi…nah…umm Jessica…nah she isn't even married. Come on Aamna please tell me…I am tired of this guess game." Kripa whined.

"Ahh…fabulous sweetie!!! U don't even consider me your friend." Aamna said pretending to be angry.

"O my god really…I am so happy for you and Raj…that's so awesome …I am going to be a massi yay" Kripa said almost shouting with happiness and immediately hugged her.

"So am I the first one that u r telling it to besides Rajeev ofcourse." Kripa said still smiling big.

"yes u r the first one I am telling it to…though raj has already told it to…Angad." Aamna said slowing a little at the end.

Kripa's smile disappeared for a little moment but immediately returned; she picked up the glass of water and pretended not to look interested.

"So when did they talk…I thought they were not much in contact" she asked drinking water.

"Yes…actually Angad called raj today's afternoon to confirm his date of joining the office and to fetch some management details." Aamna replied sounding obvious.

Kripa almost choked on her water hearing about Angad's return. "Angad is coming back?"

Aamna bit her tongue as she remembered that she was not suppose to tell it to Kripa but blurted it out.

"haan actually…didn't u know he is joining from tomorrow. Infact…he is joining as joint M.D of the corporation as government sector representative. U know Mr. Rutherford will be retiring soon…he is joining at his place. Raj being the general manager was first one to know about the development." Aamna said eying Kripa for her reactions.

Kripa became silent all of a sudden, nervousness and shock visible on her face. Aamna held her hands as Kripa finally spoke up trying her best to sound normal "as M.D…he sure has progressed a lot in past two years. Well no wonder he was pretty ambitious and talented. I think its time for me to go…its already pretty late"

Saying this Kripa got up and shouted for Prithvi to go back. The ride back to the home was rather silent. Prithvi tried to talk a little but Kripa remained disinterested.

After reaching home Kripa directly went to her apartment without giving Prithvi a formal good bye peck on cheek much to his distress nor did she went to adjoining apartment of Mrs. Devika Bose to ask about her health as she usually used to do.

She closed the door and fell lazily on the bed without changing as all the memories of time came rushing back when she was happily married to Angad khanna.

Wo bhooli dastaan, lo phir yaad aa gayi...nazar ke samne ghata si chaa gayi…….

So this was first part…I had almost forgotten abt this ff…I'll try to cont it once in a week. COMMENT.
