hen they reached academy Naina saw a few army men were already there with Bunty. She looked at Rajveer.
"We'll need them" He replied without the question.
They all entered in the academy. All of them were armed. Rajveer lead the team to the isolated area where trigger room was there. He asked everyone to stay outside and entered inside the cottage with Naina.
"Aapko nahin lagta ki jitna time hamein training ground se yahan aane mein laga hai utna time in logon ke liye kafi hoga triggers chura ke le jaane ke liye. It's a matter of few minutes afterall."
"Nahin Naina.....woh aisa kuch bhi nahin kar paayenge"
"How can you be so sure?"
"Batata hoon"
He removed the covers from CCTV screens. They could see three men inside the trigger room. But triggers were not there.
"What is happening here? Agar yeh log triggers chura chuke hain to wahan khade hoke wait kiska kar rahe hain?" Naina was so confused. She failed to understand what was happening there.
Rajveer looked at her and smiled.
"Itna sochne ki zaroorat nahin hai Captain Singh. Woh log wahan pe trigger room ke khulne ka intezar kar rahe hain."
"I didn't get you?"
"Do one thing...Open the door with your access card." Naina did as she was told to. But to her surprise the door didn't open. Rajveer moved her aside and used his access card to open the door. This time it opened.
"Details explain karne ka time nahin hai Naina. Signal everyone to move in. And be careful."
Rajveer led everyone inside the trigger room.They were eight in all and the terrorists were just three. It wasn't difficult to arrest them. Infact they surrendered. That was the only option left with those terrorists.Though they had guns but they knew there was no point in firing. They stand no chance to escape.
One of them was carrying a bag. Naina took that while others took them out. Bunty took them away and Rajveer and Naina were left behind.
Rajveer was standing there. Naina came running. Before she could speak anything Rajveer said,
"That was easier than what I thought it to be"
"I don't think so" She looked horrified.
"Matlab"
"Matlab ki is bag mein triggers nahin hai.They are still missing."
"To maine kab kaha ki is bag mein triggers hain" Things were completely beyond her. Rajveer was still smiling.
They saw Major General Chandok's Jeep coming towards them. He got down from the jeep.
"Lieutenant Colonel Rajveer Singh Shekhawat I hope ki aapke paas mujhe dene ke liye ek achchi news aur full explanation hai."
"Of Course Sir."
Three of them move moved towards his cabin.
"So tell me. Yahan ho kya raha hai. "
"Everything is under control sir. Aur ab iske baad Kanchenjunga Military Academy mein kabhi bhi is tarah ki koi aur problem nahin hogi"
"What do you mean by that?"
"I mean sir ki intelligence ki report thi ki ek baar phir se un triggers ke liye KMA ko target kiya jaa raha hai. Isliye ministry ka yeh manana hai ki ab KMA triggers ke liye ek safe jagah nahin rahi. In last few years it was third attempt to steal those triggers.Isliye intelligence ne is baar Captain Singh ko responsibility di thi ki woh yahan aa kar yeh ensure kare ki academy ke ander se koi un terrorists ka saath na de paaye. Aur mujhe bheja gaya tha un terrorists ko trap karne ke liye. Captain Singh ke aane ki information un logo ke paas thi but luckily they didn't know ki main bhi Captain Singh ke saath is mission mein involved hoon. Inspection sirf ek excuse tha un terrorists ko ek mauka dene ka taki woh apne mission ko anjaam de sake. Aur jaisa ki unhone kiya bhi. Woh nahin jaante the ki woh triggers academy se ek week pehle hi doosri safe jagah shift karva diye gaye hain. Woh log khud hi is trap mein phans gaye. Kyunki woh yeh bhi nhain jaante the ki security high alert pe hai aur jaise hi humein security breach ka signal mila control room se trigger room ki security settings change kar di gayi. Is naye system ko pehle se hi activation ke liye ready rakha gaya tha aur iska access card sirf mere paas tha. Aur is sudden change ki wajah se woh terrorists ander hi phanse reh gaye aur unhe woh trigger bhi nahin mila kyunki woh wahan tha hi nahin. So now triggers are safe and so is KMA."
"That was a job very well done."
"Thank you sir. But now if you could excuse me Sir. Those terrorists have been held for interrogation aur uske liye mujhe jaana hoga. I am sure hamein unse kafi important information milne waali hai."
"Okay you may proceed. All the best Lieutenant Colonel Shekhawat."
"Thank you Sir" He then turned to Naina.
"Captain Singh you please go back and assist Major Shastri in the drills"
"Right Sir"
"I'll take your leave sir" Rajveer said that to Major General Chandok and left.
Naina returned to the training grounds while Major General Chandok preferred to stay back in the academy.
That evening around 1800 hours she received a SMS.
I'll b w8ing for you in my hotel room for dinner at 8. C ya...... Luv, Raj.
Naina was so happy to receive that SMS from him. She hurriedly went to her room to get ready. She was not able to decide what she should wear and finally after a lot of efforts decided to keep it simple with a soft pink tube top with a denim Capri.
When she reached the hotel she found the door was not locked. She entered the room and a big smile came on her face. The room was lit with so many candles. Dinner table was set. Soft romantic music was playing in the room. There was a path made up of Rose petals which took her to Rajveer who was standing right in front of her. He was wearing a black suit with a black shirt. He was looking so hot in that completely black attire. He was smiling at her.
She walked on those petals and went to Rajveer.
"Is sab ki kya zaroorat thi?"
"To tumse kisne kaha ki humein hamesha sirf wahi karna chahiye jo zaroori ho. Waise bhi zaroorat to thi. This evening is special because it's with someone very special."
Naina was blushing.
They took their dinner. It was yummy. He had made sure to order everything Indian, Naina's favourite cuisine.
It looked like a dream and Naina was enjoying every moment of it. They were discussing everything over dinner and even after that. They talked about her friends, academy's inspection, the eventful day that they had, weather... Everything.
"Waise ek baat to hai jab tumhe woh triggers us bag mein nahin mile, you were scared." Rajveer was pulling her leg.
"Obviously. Those triggers are so important after all. Aur waise bhi mujhe aapke master plan ke bare mein thode na pata tha."
Rajveer was smiling. "Well anyways, all's well that ends well.Important yeh hai that we had another successful mission"
Naina's smile faded away when she heard that. 'Mission Accomplished' she thought and she knew what that meant but was wondering whyRajveer was not telling her about that. So she herself asked him.
"And now?"
"Now?"
"Kya aapko phir se jaana hoga?"
Rajveer took a pause before he replied.
"Haan"
