Veev felt so left out with the happenings at home. She found out quite late about Naina's alliance. No one told her. Not Naina, not her parents. It was like she was not even a part of the family. Thats what it felt like to her.

“You have your Mum, u shud go on the trip then you don’t have to be awkward anymore around her” Satyen laughed

Raanav rescued her, he walke din with a curious look on his face

“when did u get home?”

“Dad he cleaned out two of my book cases in my room at my parents’ and arranged everything looking for a power cord and then didn’t even get to work on the laptop, he went to sleep” Viveka spoke with pride

“That is GREAT”

Satyen genuinely smiled at his son

“Where is Mum?” Raanav asked him

“Upstairs Mrs Rekhi is here”

“Unbelievable” Viveka was still in shock

“Good work” Satyen’s expression mellowed

“Thanks” Raanav muttered shyly

“My books are very messy always” “I also pack very disorganized” Viveka admitted shamefully

“Well you have someone in ur life who will take care of both from now”

“Whats going on?” Raanav asked Viveka

“Dad wants me to go to Europe”

“that’s not nice” Raanav joked

“U can go too to bring her back, I can approve of time off after a week” satyen was actually talking to him

Raanav was giddy

“But I am thinking we should go on a vacation by ourselves” Raanav said with a smile

Satyen noticed his smile did not reach his eyes

“Did u even ask ur wife?” Satyen smiled gently

“I didn’t, but she said she wanted to be home for Holi prep”

“I know Kalyani is coming”

“KABBBB?” Viveka jumped up

“I don’t think I have ever received such a welcome”

Viveka sat back down and laughed and laughed

“Kalyani loves Dilli ki Holi beta”

“I am going to my parents tho” Viveka made a face “Main usko le jaaoon? I will bring her back safe”

Smrita and Suneela walked down the stairs looking at the group curiously Raanav shifted uncomfortably

“Trip planning complete? I was going to add a person to the group” satyen smiled

“No he was NOT Mum” Viveka smiled at Smrita

Smrita smiled back at her in relief

“I would gladly bring her with me” Smrita hugged Viveka and kissed her cheek “My shona”

“May be she should start packing then” Raanav muttered mischievously

Suneela stared aghast

“Nahi nahi… I have too much going on, he is trying to get rid of me” Viveka laughed guilelessly

“U think so?” Raanav looked at her protectively “I would never do that Mathur”

“She can pack” Smrita mumbled half heartedly

“To great she is going then?” Satyen was all smiles

“I am not sure what game Raanav is playing Dad I AM NOT going” Viveka smiled

“U do what u want love… I will support you” Smrita hugged Viveka again

“I want to be here when Kalyani gets here I want to bring her to Rohini so the twins can hang with her”

Raanav shot daggers at his Mum

Suneela approached him

“I don’t see u any more since u married, Kushal (Suneela’s son) says u see him once a month if that”

“I am urging her to go with Mum so I can with Kushal” Raanav mocked the friend

Smrita became real antsy

“Suneela rehne do the boys will meet somehow, Viveka should focus on her work she is a smart girl”

VViveka stood up

“I will go change for dinner

Raanav got up and grabbed her hand

“Change karne mein help karogey?” she whispered

“Something like that” he growled and held her waist protectively and left his parents

“What just happened?” Satyen quizzed Smrita

“Well I wanted u to hear from her own mouth she doesn’t want to go”

“WHO to suna maine, but Raanav appeared upset”

“Wonder why” Smrita shrugged smugly

She took the pin off her shoulder and undid her hair

He watched mesmerized

"What do u think about living in a high rise?"

"WHERE? My parents house, because that is 10th floor also" she giggled

"No 30th in Gurgaon" he said quietly

"Are u moving me out?" she asked with a chuckle

His smile disappeared

Joke?" he growled

Take that step Raanav! Very necessary! Go boy, you have our support!

He meant it when he told his mother off.

Unfortunately it feels right. Satyen will be devastated.

satyen will be very sad, but it is good for Raanav and Viveka’s future

Can see loads of people supporting raanav, even though it's kind of a seperation. Although its a must needed one in their case. If satyen knows the reasons behind his sons decision he will be the one making all the arrangements for their new chapter. Satyen and rakshit are going to miss their loved ones, viveka and raanav too. What to do it's a must needed step towards their togetherness

Satyen wanted Viveka to go to Europe with Smrita and co. but Viveka refused as she wanted to prepare for Holi and take Kalyani to meet the twins. Smrita relieved that Viveka is not coming with her said she will support her in her decision.

Raanav in the privacy of their room asked Viveka if she would like to live in a highrise, like the 30th floor in Gurgoan.

Hope he has already bought the place because Viv will surely refuse to separate a beta from his mum.

Did Smrita put Satyen up to this? I don't understand her half of the times!

Her bipolar behaviour might give someone a whiplash.. but it's funny to see her squirming at the possibility of her middle class DiL joining her to Europe!

This ain't the first time Smrita has tried to insult Viveka but it's like Raanav has suddenly woken up from hibernation and he's more alert now. He's turned into a protective mama bear of sorts!!

Somehow, I wish they don't move away from the family.. if only Smrita was not such a pain!
