I just love how dadi goes on about teasing Raanav..hilarious.

Naina acting all cool..dal mein kuch kala hain..

Promises

“You should stop by atleast to eat” Anu requested as she put away veggies in the tall fridge

“I will try” he nodded

Viveka noticed he was very shy in Rohini and Ma had to draw him out of his shell to talk

He was not the energetic man he was with Swastik and his 100 other friends

“Is your Dad doing OK?” “I mean I know we will see him tomorrow”

“Umm.. yeah… his leg is mostly better, his hip is getting there, collar bone fracture has healed, but his umm”

“What happened”

“Some of his tests are disturbing”

Anu looked at Akash

“Umm.. main to hoon nahi beta expert, but Medanta hai Gurgaon mein shaayad waha ke CEO CMO jo bhi hain who hamare behnoi ke kaafi close relative hain”

“Brother in law, Piyush’s Dad is related” Viveka chuckled translating

“Oh thank you”

Anu was making a face staring at the shelf

She did a face palm mentally, why would such a wealthy man ever need a referral

“Thanks I will reach out to Piyush” Raanav nodded gravely

“I can text you the number also” Akash was ON IT

“Thank you”

“Papahhh” Viveka tried to reel him in

“Ruk ja beta… achha dekho Dadi jag gayin kya? Bauji ka ek doctor”

“Shes awake” Raanav chuckled

“Did she say something?”

“She said I need to not chase Viveka back here”

Akash burst out laughing

Anu blushed in embarrassment

Viveka muttered a “uff” a scowl and got up

“Aapko u should have said “I will do as I please”

“Umm… I.. I didn’t” Raanav smiled sheepishly

“Please don’t take what she says to you very seriously, she is a kidder” Anu apologized

“I thought so too”

“I was going to keep Veev here tonight, since you are here I have to send her back” Anu laughed

“Ah”

“Its hard to see my kids all under one roof anymore”

He nodded with a smile

“Arey we need to ask them to move in and rotate one month here one over there”

“I LOVEEEEEE THAT Papahhhh” Viveka had a mound of dry clothes she had pulled off the lines from the balcony

“I am sure you do” Raanav laughed under his breath

“You will LOVE my sisters when they watch a movie together” Viveka smiled fondly

“They are going to stay over tomorrow night” Akash blurted

“I asked them to” Viveka smiled

“Umm…” Raanav wanted to ask if they could go now

“Naina kidhar hai?”

“Naha rahi hai” “I am goingt o go make some chai and go to bed my head is hurting” Anu mumbled

Viveka went to put the clothes away

“Will I see you tomorrow?” Viveka asked casually and then held her breath

“I will… sure” Naina nodded meeting her gaze through the mirror

“Will you stay? U don’t even have to bring anything, you can wear my clothes” Viveka was really excited

“Are you sure your MIL wont kick me out?” Naina whispered smiling

“Aisa mat soch she is never home and she doesn’t care”

“Do u have your own personal butler?”

“No” Viveka lied

“Do u get an array of food choices?”

“Kind of I only eat paranthas”

Well that got awkward real quick!

“On the day you got married your MIL never gave a house tour”

“Oh? Umm.. she was really upset right, because Dad was in the hospital”

“Will you leave Raanav when his Dad gets better?”

“I don’t know” Viveka sat down with a bunched of neatly folded laundry on her lap

“I cant believe you are so wild Veev”

“I guess I am the wildest of all” Viveka smiled bashfully

“He argues a lot doesn’t he?”

“HOW do u know?” Viveka was shocked

“Tum dono waha kitchen mein argue kar rahe the” “I heard him quote some legalese”

“Oh that’s because I quoted some statistic. He hates when I do that” Viveka laughed

In Viveka’s eyes Naina noticed excitement and amusement, like she loved to rile her husband and there was a definite crackle of chemistry there

How could someone so arrogant and insufferable and aloof be wrapped around her sister’s pinky like that?

Was he putting on an act?

Or did he really love her nerdy sister? Hmmm…

“Tomorrow?” Viveka nodded getting up

“I will Veev” Naina smiled

“Will you leave Raanav when his Dad gets better?”

I am not sure if i would be comfortable someone asking me this question if I were Viveka.
Naina, If not for last few sentences I would have presumed you don’t care for your sister at all.

Ranaav and Naina are alike. Both only see others fault. None are ready to accept it’s their own action which is responsible for the opinion others have formed about them.

I hope naina is being genuine and cares to see vi is being really loved. Ra came across arrogant only before he fell in love with Vi. He has been changing and that definitely shows in his interactions with Anu and Akash. He even stood up for his wife with his mother..but naina would be jealous or happy..only time will tell. Vi should let naina gain the respect back herself instead of forcing her to join every time there is an opportunity.

So Viveka got her sister's affection back after she shared the secret about her marriage with her? Essentially Naina accepted Viveka back after Viveka handed over the reigns of her life to Naina!

But till now Naina has not told Viveka why she eloped with Inder or what is going on between her and Inder.

The imbalance in the relationship between the sisters is just wow.

Today is a day of reflection for some..so I will do that and temper my comment 😁

Akash is being his self -open and ready to help (about contact @Medanta) not saddled by what to say or not because of the Parasher's wealth. He recognized Ra's worry and concern... shows his genuine interest and concern. Genuine words help and I am sure it was felt by Ra. 😍

So my first reaction to Naina question about personal butler, cuisine variety at home, house tour (she though has visited their.home with Inder..maybe has not seen everything and forgot that Satyen was in ICU 🤔) was to look down upon but then that is her...her short affair with Inder and sisters tête was a lot about Inder's wealth and sex. You can want a wealthy partner and still be concerned about sister happiness..right..? . 9f course.

She genuinely believes Viveka's confession and thinks her sister is "wild" and married Ra for sex. and yes because of Satyen health too. She will evaluate more tomorrow how the arrogant,aloof man is so interested in her nerdy sister.

What actually surprised me was that Naina after knowing that her sister's marriage is/might be temporary, is not concerned about it but kind of thrilled that her sister is more "wild" than her.

And Viveka kind of gave Naina a clean chit for all her actions saying if Naina was "wild", she herself is wilder. So all that her parents, and family went through was for nothing? Didn't her engagement break too?

Now I just cannot stop and think about this kind hearted Akash. What will his reaction be if he had heard this conversation between his daughters?

Naina lives in the moment she said right. She is reckless...has not thought about consequence even ones that would hurt her personally (unwanted pregnancy etc). So it fits her personality to focus only on the wild/sex part of Viveka confession. I dont think she thinks long term..that is her. Imperfect..maybe relieved that her sister did not betray her. Maybe selfish yes..but that is her and may still care for Viveka 😊

Viveka engagement broke..is that you are referring to? The two are different but each other confidante..friends. hence the banter maybe. Most of us take a long time to see any faults in our parents,siblings or even close friends. We overlook it or are blind to it or make excuses for it when confronted. Maybe same is true for Viveka when it comes to Naina. (Raanav is doing same for Smrita. )

What kind of hold Naina has on Viveka? Naina is asking if she will leave Rannav once his father is well? and Viv says she does not know as if she considered it? Will Viveka allow her sister to break her marriage? Naina has seen that both Viveka and Rannav are in love with each other but she still wants her sister to leave her husband.
