I feel Nina is judged too harshly here. I do not think she has done anything incriminating. You can see clear bias in the way the parents treated these 2 siblings. That ought to have some effect on her. She also felt cheated because Viveka was warning her against having relationship with rich dude and she went and married one in hurry ( by ditching her boy friend that too). She did not even tell Nina that she loved Ranav. If at all Nina did same things as Viveka she would have been judged really harshly by her parents. But because its Viveka, she gets away. That will be Naina's POV. I dont think its completely wrong too. Even now Viveka says he married because dad was ill. Even now she did not tell she loves Ranav. So i think saying this to Naina is wrong on Viveka's part. Even if Nina blows it up, i dont see anuthing wrong in it. Which sister will not get upset if her sister marries somebody for the sake of a ill parent. I dont think Naina is a mean girl. She is hurt and insecure.

I don't get Viveka's obsession to get things back with Naina to normal as soon as possible. Also why does Viveka feel so guilty that she married Raanav from Naina's perspective?

Naina-Inder and Viv-Raanav's cases are totally different.

Even when she agreed to marry Raanav the first time and Inder had just broken up with Naina, the two situations were totally different.

It's almost like every day Viveka lives in guilt for marrying into the Parasher family when Naina was the one who wanted to marry into the rich family.

Now I do get why Raanav was pissed off with Viv when she was going on and on about Lekha not forgiving her for wrecking her car.

Viveka has this incessant need to please everyone and be in good books with everyone, irrespective of whether she is at fault or not, and irrespective of how that might ruin her life and also whether the other person deserves it or not.

Naina will throw Viv under the bus, it is only when is the question I feel.

I remember when she returned from Jaipur and was questioned by her father and she immediately said that even Viv was not a virgin.

Naina takes decisions on an impulse, yet she is not ready to face the consequences of her decisions. She can see hurt in her father's eyes for her, but she does not want to dwell into how much she has hurt her parents actually.

Viv did not even realise that in her obsession to be in good books with her sister again, she is going to hurt so many people, her parents, Satyen and Raanav.

Anu and Akash will be devastated. How will Viv face them later on?

And her life might also be ruined, how is she planning to live with a broken heart later on?

At the least one person will be very happy and that would be Smrita.

Also if ever Abhishek needs someone to talk on his behalf and be his lawyer, he should appoint Naina for that job. Her concern for him is beyond limits.

By the end of it...this was my expression 😒

This is not about Naina or what she thinks about Viveka relationship with Raanav. It is what Viveka feels and believes after several weeks (or is it months) being married to Raanav.

"I did a mix of impulse and rationality, I Married him to savor the s--, I married him so a good man will know his son cares for him, and wants to show him he is happy”

Guess it is about the sex and moral responsibility for her...few weeks with him has not translated into love..even though I think few times she has said that she loves him . Not sure what to make out of it. Guess she was honest with Naina after all they are almost twins and that is what matters.

So not talking about her personal life with Raanav that it is sacred between the couple is irrelevant. This marriage is a responsibility.

Now if Naina was to reveal/brag to someone in Parasher mansion..will do Viveka a favor..she can get out of this responsibility/marriage.

Nisha this was awesome...guess there is lot of growing up on both sides..Viveka and Raanav. Both of them have someone (Naina and Smrita) in their lives that they love dearly but will never bless their relationship. In the end it will be what is more important to them that will determine if marriage will survive or not 😘.

Well said Shradha.

I have always felt right from the beginning that it was Raanav who sincerely wanted to marry Viveka and work towards a happy marriage. Viveka never showed the enthusiasm which Raanav showed.

While he wants her to share her happy and sad moments with her, I never saw the same from her side.

I wonder why Viveka never got emotionally attached to Raanav.

The enthusiasm Viveka shows to try and bond with even Lekha, that is lacking when it comes to Raanav.

I have more empathy for Ranaav.

Ranaav is working on the relationship irrespective of the reason why he got into this more than Viveka as it appears now.
There are few cardinal rules in marriage or relationship. Things which should be between the man and his wife, if discussed with third person even if it’s parents should not be allowed to breach that space. I would say even if the marriage is for namesake this should hold true.
Ranaav has couple of times mentioned to his family that it’s personal when questioned about him and Viveka.
Viveka herself didn’t want Ranaav to reveal the reason behind their marriage to anyone but now has told Naina.
I want Ranaav to be upset and ask her upfront and give her option to walkout if she is doing this merely for his fathers sake. He deserves better.
Neither him nor she should be in relationship if that the only reason.

I think in one of her talks with Naina..she said he pursued her a lot. Like you said it was Raanav who was at it and then Satyen demand that Viveka marry his son.

Maybe it is just the strong physical attraction/need and nothing more. Why not right ? And he showing.so much interest was flattering. Maybe it has always been physical attraction which she thought sometimes as love

Forget the airheads (smrita and the likes)...what does she think of Raanav as a person ? He takes pride in her intellect. Does she do the same?. One does not need to have a degree to have relevant views on policies/politics/economy? Or whatever she finds stimulating

So she may have inherent biases and has never bothered to question it.

@Kavi, @Shradha,

Giving Viv the benefit of doubt, when they first started dating and decided on getting married, they did confess their feelings for the other (she had quoted Pablo Neruda to him once). But when the whole Inder/Naina thingy happened, I think the emotional support she expected from him didn't happen. He was caustic in his attitude towards Naina, her sister. The same way he doesn't like to hear anything about his mother, even if she was wrong. That's how we all are. They broke up then, she felt the differences between them in the way they look at life was way too different, inspite of the love they felt for the other.

Where has she not shown her empathy? She knew something was off with him when that job situation happened and had told him she could fight with anyone for him. And when it comes to his father too, she does respect and like Satyen a lot. They got married for him, there can't be a better act of empathy than that, that she felt she needed to do it for this man who had always been good and kind, that she wouldn't have lived with the guilt if not. She didn't tell him about the rejection but later on she did say that she wanted to wallow in self pity for some time considering the amount of time and effort she had put in for that application. And in a way her wanting to get along with his family is also for him isn't it? The same way Anubha puts up with Dadi and doesn't tell Akash everything. We all do that, with our in laws, even if our patience is tested we go along and we do it for our spouses😆 I think the differences in the social milieu that they grew up in and also gender differences with respect to these things show up. He thinks there is no need to get along with Lekha or try to do so (Smrita doesn't care for Mitali, does she?), whereas she feels the need to build relationships (not a repeat of Anubha and Garima). Why would she do that if she was waiting for the marriage to get over?

With Naina, she was Viv's secret keeper, the one she told everything to. Things that can't be told to her parents. If there is one thing she kept from her it is that confession from Raanav when he told her he was in love with her. Isn't there a line that her PhD dreams and relationship with Naina is what kept her going? The breaking down of that relationship is bound to hurt. Plus she has been reeling from one thing to another, events seem to have gotten out of her hands. Bound to erupt. When things seem to go out of hand, I guess it is human nature to want to hold on to that which is familiar and loved, here it is her family. She comes home to feel better, for that emotional support even if she may not let out she is in need of it. Only thing left to see is if her trust in Naina is misplaced or not. It is her (Naina) who needs to put in some thought about what her actions has done to her loved ones. The impact it has had on relationships. Plus I don't know why she needs to drag Abhishek into every conversation, didn't Viv tell her about his penchant for young girls and that he had never been into the relationship fully, the way she wanted him to be? It had been all about him. I don't know why she said that line about been in it for the sex, to show Naina that she also did what Naina had done?

Viv and Raanav, they would need to put the other first and fight for them if the relationship needs to work, going forward. Even if it means telling a few home truths to mothers and sisters😆
