I was reading once upon a midnight again. I spent 2 days and read the whole story again. I'm sorry for side-tracking from this story because I love all the stories very much, but that one just had my ❤️. All our heroines are so distinct, but I some how relate the most to Shubra. I think I'm a lot like her, minus the wealth 😭. I have only cried twice while reading the stories. Once, when R&B cried in front of II, remembering his mom and the second time when Shubra and Tapan broke up the last time. The hurt felt so real for some reason even though I've never had a heart break in my life.

Viveka has harbored crushes on hot economists. But Raanav has also heard himself being reffered to as the hot dude by her. That should ease his mind. Now what will help Viveka about feeling inadequate compared to those models?

It has been a really rough two weeks😭 both on the work front and personal front, a young kid, barely 28 died yesterday, she is the daughter of my best friend at work, I have known him 10 years, our boys are best friends.

The kid was his oldest daughter, fast spreading melanoma (she is a red head)

I went to her wedding last year in Aug, on 29th, this year my friend/her Dad married his GF on Aug 29

I saw her for the last time at the wedding, I told her I am her Dad's sister since I show up to eat and pick on him so you are my niece....she said "OH I LOVE my Indian auntie"

I am so numb in shock

She fought with her mind body and soul for Bernie Sanders, she realized what was at stake for someone like her if universal healthcare did not get passed😭 I canvassed as much as I could as well

I am so shook right now, I am trying to do every nonsensical thing to feel better

Oh no!! This is terrible. How is your friend coping and the girl's husband?? This is so so sad. Cancer is a monstrous disease, whether death comes fast or slow. I have seen it very closely, I know how painful it can be

Hey Nisha, so so sorry to read the last post of yours. But I guess such is reality of life and we face it every once in an a while.

The reason I am writing right now is to thank you once again. You have touched many lives with your stories. You have given me friends for life. You have allowed us to virtually live our life through a character which we otherwise might never have had.

she wanted to learn to cook vegetarian, I told her I will buy a pressure cooker for her and I will come over once a week and show her

This was in May at her brother's graduation (it had spread to her brain by then and she had just received radiation)

I brought a dozen red roses for her, she hugged the roses and teased her husband "Ben never gave me any roses EVER"

I hugged her long and hard

Every time I went to the Indian store I would stare at cookers and wonder which one she would like

Dear Nisha,

Very sad that hear about the young girl. When the heart feels heavy no words seem adequate to portray the grief. It is as though somebody put a parangal on the heart .
