So sad to hear about that young girl losing her life. Cancer has become so common now. Wonder if we have more now or we just know more about it now.

So sorry to hear this news Nisha.

I have been hearing many such stories recently and so many cases of mental health issues with younger people.

With such beautiful souls lost for no fault of theirs, I can only pray that they are happier and pain free.

Kala

I am unable to do anything today, just staring at her wedding announcement stuck to my fridge. she went to Georgetown and studied Mandarin and politics, she would have made a fantastic young lawmaker or lobbyist at some thinktank in DC, she returned home when she started spotting those moles 7 years ago.

She worked tirelessly for the under privileged, hoping to make one change, she is a raging Liberal

So precious...

My son would go over to hang with his best friend and he says all three would hang in his friend's room and spend HOURS talking about similarity between languages😭

My oldest is maniacally obsessed with languages and NLP and etymology, he tells me this morning that she spoke Chinese and Spanish exactly like a native

Polite, respectful, willing to talk to people 20, 30 40 years older than herself, no tantrums or natak

Truly a gem

6 feet tall like her mother...

This makes absolutely zero sense to me

I will make a confession today, I would often ridicule people for their movie choices and music choices with no idea HOW it makes them feel

Today I feel like watching a Govinda movie or a David Dhawan movie

I want to make the pain go away

Its hurting physically

I am sorry to everyone who I may have hurt, I need to cope too😭

I am a very silent reader and a very big fan of your stories and I only open india forums to read your stories

So so sorry to hear your loss

Didn’t want to stay silent anymore with the level of grief you are going through Nisha ..I understand your pain , couple of years ago I lost a very dearest brother 26yr old (no blood relation) and no relation at all.. but he used to call me his sister ..celebrated Rakhi every year and hung out with my husband

when we are far from home / parents we feel like whoever calls us with some relation it creates a bond, they become very close to our hearts .. and that loss is indeed very painful

one day this boy was admitted in the hospital thinking it was a gastric pain but it turned out to be cancer..he was the only son to his parents, it was so very painful

Your loss reminded me of that innocent boy who started his dream job at that time and was ready to get married the next year..all his plans everything came to an end

I can feel your pain Nisha ..no words to console but we are here to share your pain xx
