Manzil (Destination) Introduction

This SS is not a love story.It's an emotional family drama on the problems caused when a son is a bit too attached to his mother.The concept is slightly about Oedipus complex.

Oedipus complex, is a term used by Sigmund Freud to describe a child's feelings of desire for his or her opposite-sex parent and jealousy and anger toward his or her same-sex parent.If there are mothers here at least some of you must have experienced their baby son not liking the father around his mother as he does'nt like to share his mother with the father.The over possessiveness of sons towards their mother create such issues.

My dearest friend Sydell wanted me to write on this idea.So i dedicate this SS to her.

Those who expect romance will get disappointed with this SS as there is very less romance.Still there will be romance.ArShi romance will be very less.

Character Sketch

Aryan Singh Raizada:The cruel husband of Khushi.

Arnav Singh Raizada:The twin brother of Aryan.But a soft person who is a very good friend of Khushi.

Khushi Singh Raizada:Wife of Aryan and mother of Aarav.

Aarav Singh Raizada:The dearest son of Khushi.

Little Aarav

Adult Aarav

Ruhi Bhalla:Love interest of Aarav.

Raman Bhalla-Ishita Bhalla:Parents of Ruhi.

Thankyou Jasmine for writing for me this SS on the concept Odeipus complex on Arshi and manan thank you so much and I am really looking forward to reading the full story and and going into my imaginary world with your writing

Jazz n Dellz ..

A little clarification ..

When a son gets too attached to his mother n doesn't like his father around her,it's called Oedipus complex..

But when a girl gets too possessive about her father n doesn't feel comfortable to see her mother around her father,it's called Electra complex ..

But it's not necessary that such kids can demand sexual consolation from their respective parent (though there r certain such cases) ..

Exactly.I have learnt Freud's theories on Oedipus complex and Electra complex in college.According to him all babies have this 😆.So when Sydell asked me to write on this I was reminded of the theries I learnt in college.

You are exactly right.This complex does'nt mean that sexuality is involved in it.

and ya since i am in my college am learning and about this and i told Jasmine to do so because i have alot of novels to read which are based on such kind of concept 😆
