Chapter 218- The Performance Review
" Sreedhar how are you. I only got time now to call you yaar. It is too hectic here " Gautham was over phone with Sreedhar.
" It is going very interesting here Gautham" and then Sreedhar told everything about Ankush, their plan for election and all. He talked about how Suman was happy with the new shop and also the incident with Rakhee and how Suman supported him.
" Gautham you don't know how happy I was that day. I don't know yaar, every time Sumi trusts me it is like I feel I am the most powerful on this earth."
" Coming to Suman I wanted to tell you something" Gautham told Sreedhar about their chief trainer in charge Mandavi Jagannath and her semblance with Suman.
" Mandavi Jagannath and she looks like Sumi, Gautham she might be Sumi's cousin sister " and Sreedhar told Gautham the entire story of Sulakshana Rajput.
" Sreedhar if that is the case I have one to one performance review with Mandavi madam. Let me see if I can ask her if she knows anything about her sister" told Gautham.
As he kept the phone Sreedhar was euphoric. Sumi might be happy to know about this. He started writing a letter for her. He will ask Poorni to give it Suman. That night when Suman read Sreedhar's letter she was feeling so happy. There was a chance she might meet her two cousin sisters and maybe Sulakshna Taiji too.
Mandavi looked through the files as Gautham sat in front of her. It was quarterly performance review for each of the trainee.
"Gautham Sanyal you are doing quite good in the training. I would say justifying your topper tag" told Mandavi.
" Thank you Madam. All of you teachers are giving us lot of support and motivation" told Gautham.
" Life outside is not this easy Gautham. It is very tough. You feel you have power. But then the society wont allow you to do many things" told Mandavi.
" Madam I feel if we get right direction at right time we can do things. Many times when we get new posting there wont be anyone to guide us " told Gautham.
" That you don't have to worry. If you keep up this performance I will be there to guide you " told Mandavi.
" Thank you Madam. It is a honor" told Gautham.
" Fine Gautham. Anything you want to ask me "
" Madam if you don't mind can I ask you one thing. Are you by any chance related to one Suman Rajput."
Mandavi looked at Gautham. She had expected this question one day or the other from the time she came to know Suman looked almost like her. She knew there was no point hiding. One day or the other everyone has to know the truth and this truth anyways wont go to harm the larger mission.
" Gautham if Suman is from Mewar and anyway related to Vijender Rajput, then yes I am her cousin sister" told Mandavi making sure she gave no inclination that she knows the connection between Suman and Gautham.
" Madam Suman is your sister only" then he went on to tell his relation with Suman, where Suman is and also the things Sreedhar told him. Only thing he didn't tell it was Sreedhar who told him, but Suman herself when he had called her and told about Mandavi.
Mandavi had tears in her eyes. She had not expected this. She didn't know her sister will wait for her to call. She has to tell Meenakshi didi. Didi can reveal herself to Suman. She will also try to talk to Suman.
" Gautham, give me Suman's number I will call her. Meanwhile my sister Meenakshi is in Jaipur. I will surely tell her to go and meet my kid sister Suman" told Mandavi.
" I am so happy Madam. Thank you once again Madam" told Gautham as he walked out. Mandavi sat looking at the door but then she came back to present quickly as the next trainee entered her room.
