Meenakshi doesnt know about Sree-suman love story. Mandavi knows through Maya. How Maya knows well let that be Maya now 😃

Chapter 216- Time with you

Vindhya and Sudhir told Sreedhar and Suman that, if they wish to spend some time together, they plan it with Devika. Suman can go to Devika's house one day evening and Sudhir will ensure Sreedhar goes there to bring her back. Devika's children can play in Vaishu's haweli and Vindhya will plan that part along with Poorni and Vaishu. Shop also Vindhya will manage with Rakesh dadi for a day.

It was a much needed relief for Suman and Sreedhar. As after the Jodhpur trip they really didn't get private time to spend with each other. Rakhi became stressful all with Rakhee's accusations, dance programme, then of course Jatin's issue, Agra Cultural fest and now with impending political battle and festival season things were supposed to get more hectic.

As planned when Sreedhar came, Devika gave Chai and Chaat with Suman and asked them to move to her room so that they will get some privacy. The door was kept almost closed. Devika sat in the front room, with front door bolted, so that if someone comes Suman and Sree will get enough time to be in the front room itself.

Suman and Sreedhar sat facing each other. Suman took a spoon of chaat and held it to Sree. Sree took it and then he fed her back.

" You look happy Sumi. You don't know how much I love to see you all smiling" told Sreedhar.

" My happiness is your love Sreedhar. With each passing day I just want to feel it more " told Suman.

" Really so what should I do so that you can feel it more " he started gazing her. Suman blushed.

" Sreedhar I just meant..."

" It is not a bad idea to put some lip gloss Sumi and why in the world you cover yourself with your pallu always. Just leave that pallu down if elders are not there" Sreedhar winked.

" You are crossing limits Sreedhar. Drink your tea" Suman mocked anger.

" I am crossing limits. I am not asking any other woman such things. I am telling it to the woman who is mine. Now don't tell me you are not mine, and if possible don't give that tigress look"

" That I cannot guarantee" told Suman. Sreedhar looked at her. She looked cute and he wished he could kiss her.

" Sreedhar I couldn't tell you about why Papa allowed Jatin's arrest" told Suman to divert the topic.

" Yes Sumi I wanted to ask that. It is not like your family" told Sreedhar.

" I am the reason they gave Jatin Sreedhar. Radhika's father told he will make my college affair public if Jatin was not given" told Suman.

" Our college affair. People out there know that. Does Prathana Devi knows. You very well know if she knows in no time it will reach Mahantji" told Sreedhar.

"Sreedhar I discussed with Devika didi about it. Devika didi called Pritam Bhaiyya as well as Amrit Bhaiyya to know more about it. See it happened because of Piyush, Pritam Bhaiyya's brother. Piyush and Radhika's brother are buddies. Piyush like to brag about things. It seems someone in Radhika's family eloped with a guy and while Radhika's brother lamented about it, Piyush bragged to him how his family managed to marry me off and protected their honor.

Now Papa, and my other Tauji's have asked everyone to remember whether they have talked about me to anyone else. If yes to whom, when. Because the public thing they told for my marriage was though I was allowed to study post marriage, I was opposing marriage. If my marriage didn't happen at that time, then Prathana Devi had told my marriage wont happen. I feel no one else have spoken anything. So Prathana Devi doesn't know"

" But what did your family tell Prathana Devi to make such prediction" asked Sreedhar.

" To Prathana Devi they just told they don't want me to study further. They want to marry off me. She need to help them do that without affecting their public image. Then she staged the horoscope drama, that's it" told Sreedhar.

" Sumi how did you survive in your family. I mean how someone can you live in such an atmosphere" told Sreedhar.

" If I had not survived that atmosphere do you think Sreedhar Varma I would have endured this " Suman laughed.

Sreedhar looked at her. Yes what she told was truth. What she was enduring now was much less compared to what she had endured.

" Sreedhar maybe life wanted me to prepare for this path, it made me walk on more thorns than roses. So when I walk with you I am able to see the roses than the thorns" told Suman as she got up taking the plate and glasses. They needed to go. Sreedhar squeezed her hand gently as they came out of the room.

Wow how positive Suman is. The fact that she can see the past with detachment is a victory for Sree also. love how Sudhir and Vindhya understand their need to be alone and spend time.

@Ria Sree's love has to heal Suman's wounds, her perceptions about men, marriage needs to be broken.Only then she will be able to move in her life with a positive outlook.
