hello sis... nice updates... loved sree and his crazy ideas... suman also is too good and both deserve each other... as expected sobha mausi was not less than her sons... poor sree always anyone runs behind him 😆 ... akash is a ditto of his father... loved geeta's reply to her bhabi and devrani and maheshwari's reply to sobha... I think one day maheshwari will ask suman to prepare gajar halwa and puri for sree and that will increase everyone's doubt... or they will confirm this time... waiting for the next update...

Chapter 173- The Guidance

On their way back home Suman told everyone strictly no one was going to tell anything at home. Mamu and Mami will be unnecessarily worried. Also the girls and their families who were supposed to come in the morning were now coming in the evening. So she needed to speak to them.

" Chachi why are people so insensitive " asked Poornima

" Poorni world is like that. People love to harp on your pain. We somehow has learn to live with that. Only thing is that never compromise your individuality and self-respect in any circumstance. We need to learn to stand up for oneself " told Suman

" So Suman Chachi how do we stand up for that" asked Aakash

" By our own actions Aakash. We should not question others on why they did this or that, instead always question our motives before we act" told Suman

" Sumanji you have become too wise " chided Sreedhar

They reached home and Suman rushed to get freshen up before the girls and their families came.

Soon around 5 girls came with their families. Latika Mami introduced Suman to them

"Namasthe she is Suman our Maheswari's third bahu. She was studying in Delhi and you can see how well she has adapted to our family in such a short span of time. Don't hesitate to send your daughters to Delhi. You can ask her about how the college life was in Delhi" told Latika Mami

" Beta does girls have separate hostels" asked one man

" Yes uncle we have separate ladies hostel and we are supposed to enter the hostel before 7pm. Rules are strict and a warden is there who monitors the inmates. Any act of indiscipline punishment happens and family is informed."

" Beta does the boys come to the hostel at odd hours "

" Uncle boys are not allowed inside the hostel. If a boy has to meet the girl he has to send the name of the girl through security and he can meet her outside the hostel only that too before 7pm" told Suman

" How is food didi. I heard hostel food is bad" asked one girl

" Food beta you have to learn to adapt. It will not be like your Maa's food. But the thing is that once you have hostel food you will appreciate your Maa more for giving you such tasty food. Sometimes it does cause some stomach upset in the beginning. But then soon it will be fine" told Suman

Then they asked many such questions to which Suman answered. Finally they were satisfied and they told Jaideep Mamu and Latika Mami that they were happy to meet Suman. They will surely send their daughters to college along with Rakhi .

That night Sreedhar opened the letter Suman had given through Vaishnav.

" Sreedhar you know how many lies I told. You very well know you have made me break half the rules of the hostel. You have come to meet me at odd hours. What more we have spend most of our evenings with each other in lovers corner. But one thing I understood today Sreedhar. Your need to marry with everyone's blessing was so important. Because if I had a runaway marriage these girls would never have got the chance. " Sreedhar smiled

" Sreedhar uncle if it is anything you can share with me I am all ears" told Vaishnav laughing.

" Chote ustad don't try to be too smart. When your time comes experience it for what it is. Now go to sleep " told Sreedhar pulling the blanket and Vaishnav too pulled the blanket switching off the lights. Next day they were going to Jodhpur's famed Mehrangarh fort

Suman is very good at guiding and explaining to kids.. she's indulgent too but then also does discipline the kids.. very good balance.
