PART 17 A

Anika composed herself after seeing the scene & posed as if nothing had happened but this scene had hurt her a lot she don't know why she felt offensive about all this. It wasn't that she didn't trust him but today women & wife inside her felt jealous seeing someone else in her husband's arms.

Anika called Yog for having dinner & little later all the guest took leave from the party & finally party ended. Shashank & Anay too had taken leave bit early as they have to make preparations to leave for his training which was about to start in couple of days.

Anika after party checked Manohar who had slept after taking his medicines. After that she entered her room & without a glance she lay down at her place & slept taking her comforter without voicing anything.

Yog was bit astonished at her behavior but thought that she might have got worn out after a tiring day so he let it go & slept calmly.

Next morning Yog got up from his nap & saw Anika getting ready in her uniform. Yog said wishing her "God morning! Kya baat hai? ... kal to tum aate hi seedhe soo gayi tabiyat theek nahi hai ya thak gayi thi"

Anika with a faint smile said "Haan! wo kal kaafi late ho gaya thana aur main bhi thak gayi thi isliye so gayi aap ready ho jaayiye main breakfast lagati hoon" with that she marched out of the room.

After a while at the breakfast table Manohar said "Beta! main abhi gaon ke liye nikal raha hoon waha se sarpanch ji ka call aaya tha shayad humari zameen ka kuch issue hai lagaan ka mujhe zara solve karna padega"

Yog with surprise said "Par Papa humne to sab kuch time se jama kiya tha?"

Manohar said "Haan pata hai! par koi confusion hai shayad isliye jaana zaroori hai" saying this Manohar went back after finishing his breakfast. Yog & Anika bid bye to him & after a while both moved to their workplaces.

Anika was in a deep thinking today she cannot wipe out the scene she saw & also the feeling what she felt after seeing that. Suddenly Dutta came to meet her regarding a case.

He entered & wished her saying "Namaste Madam! wo zaveri bazaar ke murder case ki report laya hoon aapke liye ... humara shaq bilkul sahi nikla" with that Anika & Dutta started to discuss the case.

After finishing all the points of discussion Dutta took leave saying "Madam main chalta hoon case to lagbhag khatam hi hai ... par aapko ek baat bolna chahta tha"

Anika with a surprise asked "Kaun si baat?"

Dutta said "Kal aapko aur Yog saab ko dekhkar bahut accha laga madam ... Yog saab ek dum dev manush hai ... bahut kam loog doosre ke kaam ko izzat dete hai unhone jis tarah baccho aur un market ke logo ko bulaya mujhe bahut accha laga"

Anika smiled & said "Haan! un sab ko waha dekh kar main bhi chauk gayi thi ... kal vakai main jo hua maine expect nahi kiya tha"

Dutta said "mujhe khud hairani hui thi jab Yog saab ne mujhse poocha tha ... par unhe aise mana bhi nahi kar sakta tha"

Anika with surprise said "Kya! unhone tumse kaha tha ... mujhe pehle hi samajh jaana chahiye tha" & smiles at him.

Dutta said taking leave "ab main chalta hoon madam thoda kaam hai" with that he went out of the office.

Anika smiled to herself thinking of Yog's cute gesture on her birthday. She thought "Main bhi na pagal hoon pata nahi kya kya soochne lagti hoon ... I am sure shayad Jaanvi ko Yog ki madat chahiye hogi ya fir wo unse kuch emotional baat share kar rahi hogi aur use roone ke liye ek khandhe ki zarorat hogi ...

Par pata nahin is chooti si baat se kyu mujhe itna farak pada Yog ne itna sab kuch kiya mere birthday pe aur main choti si baat leke aise hi baith gayi"

Suddenly Jannat stepped in her office wishing her "Kaisi hai Bhabhi jaan?"

Anika wished her back saying "Main theek hoon Jannat ... aao baitho kaise aana hua?"

Jannat said "Bas main yaha se guzar rahi thi soocha aapse milti chalu aur aapko kal ki party ke liye Shukriya bhi keh doon"

Anika said with a smile "Ye Shukriya apne Bhai Jaan se kehna ye unka hi surprise tha"

Jannat said with a smile "Kya baat hai! Yog Bhai jaan to ek dum badal gaye"

Anika smiles & asks with a hitched voice "Ek baat poochu Jannat tum Jaanvi ko janati ho?"

Jannat asked confused "Kyu Bhabhi jaan kya baat hai?"

Anika said "Kal party main maine use Yog ke gale lag ke roote hue dekha maine soocha Yog se poochu par fir mujhe theek nahi laga ... shayad koi serious problem hai"

Jannat looked at her with surprise & asked "Kya! par main to unke baare main sirf itna jaanti hoon ki wo Bhai jaan ki junior thi college main aur uski shadi jaldi hi ho gayi thi aur abhi 6 mahine pehle uska divorce bhi ho gaya unke shauhar business man hai unka naam hai Manav Raheja ... Par aap kahi Bhai jaan ko galat to nahi samajh rahi hai?"

Anika smiled & said "Sach kahu to unki patni hone ke haqq se bura zaroor laga tha mujhe ye sab dekh ke ... par Yog pe utna hi vishwaas hai jitna khud pe hai wo koi galat kadam nahi uthayenge ... par pata nahi kyu Jaanvi ko leke mujhe kuch ajeeb lag raha hai is liye apni tasaali ke liye tumse pooch liya"

Jannat replied "jo main jaanti hoon wo to aapko bata diya ... aap naahaqq pareshaan na hoo main chalti hoon khuda hafiz" Anika wished her back & Jannat went out of her office.

Anika falls in deep thoughts thinking "Kya mujhe Yog se is baare main baat karni chahiye ... shayad nahi ya fir tab tak nahi jab tak wo mujhe khud koi cheez nahi batate ..."

She smacks herself for thinking so much & says to herself "Anika! tum sach main pagal ho gayi ho ... normal si baat ko kuch zayada hi tool de rahi hoo ... shayad ye Yog ke pyar ka asar hai ki main unse related har choti se choti baat zayada hi soochne lagti hoon"

She composed herself letting go all her negative thoughts & concentrated on her work. Anika had realized her love for Yog more strongly after Jaanvi's instance and she too wanted confess it to him in the most special way as since they got married only Yog was the one who confessed his love.

Anika was never vocal about her feelings to anyone thou she loved him to the core & her love grew stronger with each passing day but being a woman her shyness & her hitches stopped her tongue every time.

After almost half a month Anika was in her office attending a meeting with some senior officials she received a call from Dutta she excuses herself & picks up a call saying "Haan Dutta batao kya baat hai?"

Dutta replied with a confused voice "Madam aapko pata hai is waqt Yog saab kaha hai?"

Anika said confused "Hospital main hoonge is waqt par tum aise kyu pooch rahe hoo?"

Dutta said "Madam isliye pooch raha hoon ki Yog saab ko maine abhi abhi Hotel Marine main aate dekha hai aur is waqt wo waha ke room no 5112 main hai unki koi dost thi jo party main aayi thi Jaanvi unke saath ...

Jaanvi ji bahut pareshaan thi wo Yog saab ko kisi cheez ke liye mana kar rahi thi par Yog saab ne unki nahi maani fir Yog saab unhe waha ke book kiye kamre main le gaye aur abhi dono wahi hai"

Anika was stunned beyond words everything seemed to be crashing down on her. Anika composed herself & said to Dutta "Dutta tum wahi ruko main bas abhi paunchti hoon"

She disconnected the call & took leave after finishing her meeting & drove like a maniac to the Hotel. After entering she saw Dutta at the reception waiting for her.

Dutta as soon as saw Anika said "Madam maine pata lagaya hai Yog saab yaha isse pehle bhi 2 baar aa chuke hai ... wo yaha1 ghanta ruke the dono baar ...

aur Jaanvi Madam shyam tak hotel ke logo ka ye bhi kehna hai ki dono baar Jaanvi ji jab shyam ko gayi to unki condition kaafi kharaab thi Hotel staff ne hi unhe taxi arrange kar ke di thi"

Anika turned to Dutta & said "Dutta! ek kaam karo is Jaanvi ke baare main mujhe poori information chahiye mujhe ... aur please mujhe mention karne ki zarooirat nahi ki ye sab kisi ko pata nahi lagna chahiye Yog tumhe jaante hai to sab kuch hoshiyaari se hona chahiye"

Dutta nodded & left the hotel. Anika thought of checking herself the exact matter but when she reached Yog was coming out of the room & he placed the do not disturb label at the door he informed the floor manager to take care of Jaanvi & inform him if there is any issue.

Anika hid herself behind the corridor & Yog went out of the Hotel. Anika was just clueless what all this was happening & why Yog is hiding all this from her.

Anika took a deep sigh & after Yog left the hotel Anika too came out of the hotel & thought "ye sab kya ho raha hai ... I think koi bahut badi baat hai in sab ke peeche ... par is tarah ye sab Yog kar kyu rahe hai mujhe ye sab pata lagana hoga kyuki is baat ka tamasha bante deer nahi lagegi"

Anika reached her office & engrossed herself in her work but she was really restless after seeing all this. She knew that something serious is cooking between 2 friends but what had made Yog go to that Hotel even he was compelling Jaanvi for something ...

All these questions made her totally irritated but she was sure of one thing she will not let anyone harm Yog's dignity & if Jaanvi is trying to take undue advantage of Yog's soft nature she will not spare her at any cost.

Anika calmed herself & waited for Dutta to extract all the information about this Jaanvi. It was late evening & Anika was about to leave home when she received a call from Dutta.

She picked up the call & asked "Haan Dutta! kya pata chala Jaanvi ke baare main?"

Dutta said "Madam jo bhi pata chala hai bilkul normal hai ... Jaanvi Madam Yog saab ke saath college main padti thi unki junior thi Yog saab ne unki exams ke dauraan help bhi kithi isliye dono ki dosti hui ... College khatam hone ke baad dono kabhi nahi mile ...

Yog saab ki family aur Jaanvi ji ke family terms acche hai Manohar saab to Jaanvi Mam ki shadi main bhi gaye the Yog saab ke specialization ke finals the isliye wo nahi jaa paaye ... Jaanvi ji ke pati Manav Raheja se unka pichle saal divorce ho gaya dono ki aapas main banti nahi thi ...

Jaanvi ji haal hi main Nagpur shift hui apne parents ke paas Manohar ji aur Yog saab ko jab pata chala to unhone aapki birthday party main unhe bula liya ... Mujhe lagta hai koi badi baat hai Madam isliye ye sab dekhte hi maine aapko bataya"

Anika thought for a while & said "Thanks a lot Dutta baaki main sambhaal loongi bas mera ek kaam aur karo is Manav Raheja ka pata karo aur iski saari detail mujhe chahiye ... aur jitna jaldi ho sake"

Dutta affirmed in positive & said "Theek hai Madam! main pata karke aapko batata hoon"

Anika disconnected the call & left the office after that. Dutta was more shocked at her calm behavior at all this as he knew Anika well whatever she has seen it was unlike her to stay calm.

After a small drive Anika reached home & saw Yog in the kitchen making something. Anika was bit surprised & said stopping him "Yog! ye kya kar rahe hai aap main kar loongi ye sab"

Yog said sweetly "are aaj ek special dish hai dinner main tumhare liye ... Paav Bhaji tum change karlo main khana lagata hoon"

Anika smiled & changed into something comfortable & after a while at the dinner table while having dinner Anika asked randomly "Yog! aapki wo dost Jaanvi kaise hai?"

Yog's facial expression changed automatically hearing her name but replied composing himself "Wo theek hai ... par tum aise kyu pooch rahi hoo?"

Anika said "Nahi bas aise hi party waale din wo kuch dukhi si lag rahi thi"

Yog replied "Nahi aisi koi baat nahi hai ... bas sabko aise dekh kar thoda emotional ho gayi ... aur uska abhi 6 mahine pehle divorce hua hai isliye is waqt uski emotional state theek nahi hai"

Anika nodded & said looking straight into his eyes & said "Mujhe aisa kyu lag raha hai ki aap mujhse kuch chupane ki koshish kar rahe hai?"

Yog was more surprised & said controlling the situation "Yadi tumhe aisa lagta hai to itna vishwaas rakho ki sahi waqt aane pe main sab kuch bataunga" Anika looked back into his eyes & nodded in positive

After finishing dinner Yog went to sleep as he was tired & needed rest. Anika covered Yog with a comforter & went to clear the kitchen after a while when she came back Yog was in a deep sleep & his few books were left opened on the table.

Anika picked up the books & placed them in a rack neatly but suddenly while placing books a 4 page docket which was folded inside the book fell down. Anika picked up the docket & started reading it thinking it to be a research paper but what she saw in the papers made her totally stunned.

She got out of her trance when she heard a buzz on her mobile she quickly picked up the cell & answered the call in a low voice saying "Haan Dutta kuch khaas baat hai kya?"

Dutta replied Ji Madam hai ... Manav Raheja ki saari details maine mail kar di hai aapko par ye to 2 din baad khud Nagpur aa rahe hai kisi personal kaam se"

Anika said with surprise "Par ye tumhe kaise pata chala?"

Dutta replied "wo business ke bahane maine unke office main call kiya tha waha se pata chala"

Anika thanked Dutta & disconnected the call. Anika took a sigh of relief as everything got clear to her now. She peacefully lay beside her husband & slept contently.

Next morning both left for their workplaces after regular routine Yog was thinking that how he will tackle Anika now as might be she had a doubt on him she even guessed that he was hiding something from her & as she mentioned Jaanvi's name.

Yog was also confirmed that Anika has seen something otherwise she would not openly ask him about Jaanvi. Yog knew that Anika was hurt with his behavior but he too had no way out & had a major reason behind hiding all this & he mentally made a note to tell everything to Anika as soon as things are sorted.

After 2 days in the early evening at Hotel Marine a bunch of Police in plane dress was keeping an eye as they had got information about a sex racket going on in the hotel. After a while Police raided the hotel & sealed the exits of that hotel too.

Unfortunately Yog & Jaanvi too got trapped in the same hotel by police. Here Media too had gathered there in large number after getting this big news & seeing a famous doctor like Yog trapped there added spice to the situation.

Police & Media were after Yog & Jaanvi's life and Jaanvi's condition was not good too. Yog tried calling Anika for the rescue but her number was out of reach now Yog got more worried about the whole situation. After a while Yog got surrounded by media people & they started asking him questions Yog got freeze for a moment when he saw Anika coming from the other end.

She came there & commanded in a strong voice "Ye kya kar rahe hai aap loog hatiye yaha se"

She supported Janvi making Media people aside & said to Yog "Yog! Jaanvi ki haalat theek nahi hai aap ise abhi ander le jaayiye"

Yog looked at Anika with surprise & then nodded at her & took Jaanvi inside & made her lay on the bed. Here Anika in a bit stern voice said "aapko jo bhi poochna hai mujhse poochiye"

Journalist 1 asked "Madam kya aapko pata tha ki aapke Pati Dr. Vashisht yaha hai"

Anika replied "Ji haan pata tha"

Journalist 2 asked "To khud ek mahila hoke ... ek police officer hoke aise ghinone kaam main bhi aap apne pati ka saath deengi?"

Anika said in a warning tone "Sabse pehli baat! mere pati ne koi galat ya ghinona kaam nahi kiya hai yadi sach pata na ho to aapko kisi pe bhi ilzaam lagane ka haqq nahi hai"

Journalist 3 asked "to fir shayad aapko pata hoga ki aapke pati yaha kya kar rahe the?"

Anika in a stern voice "Mere pati apni dost Jaanvi ki zindigi bachane ki koshish kar rahe the kyuki wo ek cancer patient hai ... uski personal problems ki vajah se uska ilaaj hospital main nahi ho sakta tha"

Journalist 4 said "Tab to aapke aur aapke pati ke sambandh kaafi healthy hoonge jo wo apne cases aapse share karte hai ... ya fir aap unhe bachane ke liye sach chupa rahi hai"

Anika in a same tone "aapko saboot chahiye to ye hai Jaanvi ki report hai jo 10 din pehle ki hai ..."

She shows them the reports & says in anger "aur haan! mere aur mere pati ke sambandh utne hi acche aur healthy hai jitney aapke Papa se aapki maa ke hai ya jitney aapke apne jeevan saathi hai ... now please leave" all Journalist went back in shame & after a minute Jaanvi's family along with her ex - husband entered the room along with Anika.

Anika said turning to Jannvi's parents "Uncle Aunty Jaanvi ka khayaal rakhiye ... main samajh sakti hoon usne kyu nahi bataya hoga mujhe yakeen hai use kuch nahi hoga"

Turning to Manav said "Mr. Raheja at least ye dekh kar aapko samajh aa gaya hoga ki Jaanvi ko aapse kya chahiye tha ... Sirf aapka waqt aur pyar ... shayad ab aap use wo de paaye to tab nahi de paaye"

Yog said with surprise "Anika! ye sab tumhe kaise ..."

Anika in a stern voice said cutting him short "Yog! baat karne ke liye ye jagah aur waqt munasib nahi hai hum aaram se ghar pe baat karenge ... aap Jaanvi ka khayaal rakhiye main nikalti hoon thoda kaam hai" with that she walked out of the Hotel leaving a stunned Yog behind.

Superb, as usual. Ive been trying since the last 2 days to come up with a decent one but it seems I'm completely stuck di. Samajh me nehi aa rahi kahan se shuru karu aur kaise. At first i found it a bit odd, to be very frank, at Anika's reaction on seeing yog and jhanvi together. Coz she saw jhanvi's condition too and herself guess there is something grave. And ani is the same person who clarified her ideals and thoughts after practically shooting away the leecherous patient from yog's life. But then i guess, as the entire scenario sinked in i really appreciated on how u decided to portray her as a normal human being, rather than working hard to throw a super girl in our faces. Ani may be a dynamic officer and a bit too strong lady but it must not be forgotten that deep down, pulsating is a heart which belongs to a woman and most importantly a wife who is yet to voice out her feelings towards her husband. Thus her reaction, every insecurity and each curiosity were well justified and never felt a least out of place. The way she couldn't curb her curiosity and decided to poke yog even after trying hard to allow him his space and time only reflected the loving , caring and tad bit jealous wife.

Oh toh it was dutta who helped yog with bday guest selection. Tabhi toh main sochu how come yog came to know so much about them. Dutta is a true well wisher. Fell in love with this anika even more after her innocent and honest reply that she felt bad when jannat questioned her. Her reply washed away the last bit of unusual ness at her behaviour, what remained to justify was pure love which ani plans to confess in a SPECIAL way. Gud going girl. All the very best.

But OMG what the hell is happennig. A raid !!!!!! But thank god yog jhanvi were saved and the secret was out. But it must have been definitely serious other wise yog didnt hide it from ani atleast. Ani even found some docs in b/w yog's book. Now i guess they were jhanvi's reports. Jhanvi's condition is pathetic. Good Manav got a good smacking from anika. Hope he now understands the blunder he had done. And i pray that jhanvi gets well soon. Yog probably gave her chemo sessions as dutta investigated that jhanvi's condition used to deteriorate while leaving the hotel.

Am completely bowled over by ani's reply to the reporters. The complete authority with which she stood strong and dealt with the filthy stupids was commendable. She was angry, hurt and what not but the way she handled each and everything only depicted her control over her emotions, her love and trust on yog, her sensibility and maturity. Bechara yog... now its his turn i believe. Ani ne shayad uska gussa journalist pe nikal diya.

But i have one request di. Show ani angry and bit hurt but pls if possible dont let her pester yog that he could have divulged this to her before, or an overflow of emotions such that yog having a tough time to calm her. It wont really go with the anika we r used to admire. Sorry if u find me trespassing in ur creativity.

And pls next part jaldi jaldi post karna aur aise likhna ki comment likhte likhte meri 4 days nikal jaaye. He he he he.
