So I started reading your story yesterday, had to take some breaks inbetween because I had an exam today, so I was switching between reading and studying 😛
But now I'm through all the chapters, and let me say that I love "The Hands of Time"!! 😃

The setting is so beautifully described, and your portrait of all the characters is so real! I'm a big fan of Madhu! She's such a strong woman!

I'm happy that Khushi has finally started to open up, it's just so heartbreaking how much guilt she feels for anju's disappearance..

Eagerly waiting for the next update 😊

Sandy, that was a chapter which gave a glimpse into Arnav's heart and the surrounding turmoil. It shows Arati's obsession once again, not only for her daughter, but the status quo.

I love the way you handled the situation between Arnav and Shreya.

And I hate absolutely for that cliffhanger end. Now I'm sitting and wondering what happened to Khushi!

But I love you for that long update. Thank you so so much :-)

Now let me wait impatiently for the next update!

Welcome back Sandhya!
Your updates touch on many raw emotions and humanity.. For some reasons I understand Aarti Raizada's behavior completely and empathize with her even though she has wronged her remaining children and her husband.. She is a mother whose daughter vanished into thin air.. She has no idea if she is alive or dead.. She has basically no closure. Death as they say brings closure, people grieve, eventually heal and move on.. She did not have this closure. I have noticed we Indians or Asians or Hindus, don't know what's appropriate to say but our genes are wired to not forget the past especially if we are wronged in some way as opposed to say a westerner. We just don't forget, forgive and move on.. I see this trait in Aarti. Of course this moving on requires deep counseling and psychiatric care which is frowned upon in the society? I don't remember if you mentioned anything about psychiatric care that if Aarti got any . I feel that Aarti is mentally ill and this is the reason for the wedge between her and her husband and her neglect towards her children. And it is only natural that she despises Khushi as she is the last one to be seen with Anjali.. There is no way she will accept her son and the person who she thinks is the reason for her daughter's disappearance. It will be interesting for me to see how you will make this happen.!

On the topic of mental health, Khushi is another victim and still suffers with Survivors guilt. She needed counseling too, did she have any? Her situation will only become worse if she is associated with Arnav, knowing how much his mother despises her. It is only natural for Khushi to feel they have no future together and so not encourage him now.. Again I will be watching to see how you are going to handle this too Sandhya!!

Shreya and Arnav's past was interesting.. Had it been not for a controlling Shreya may be their relationship would be alive and thriving. It would have been interesting in this scenario, how would have Khushi's reappearance impacted their relationship.

Shreya is going through the pangs of unrequited love, I do empathize with her; but her behavior didn't seem normal; for a minute I thought she might bodily harm Arnav; and I think she may not let go of him easily now that she is getting suspicious of another woman in his life!

Why oh why Khushi put herself in that situation? Will she be able to tell where she is? Even if so, can Arnav understand her slurried speech, go get her? Hmm there will be some ASR moments coming up :)

You have embarked on a very tough journey Sandhya and you have handled it efficiently so far..and I know you will in the future too.. This is making me ask if you have studied psychology, psychiatry etc academically.

First of all a belated but a joyful welcome back! I hope everything has calmed down a bit and you are more or less settled in your new place. I was late commenting on the previous chapter and now we are already on to the next. I actually was not satisfied enough with the summary so I went back and re read all the chapters and it was such a pleasant experience. I really admire Madhu. I had an atta too, well chinnatta as we called her and I was reminded of her a lot. She is so like your Madhu, divorced in the 70's when such a concept was unheard of, she was a strong lady and it is always a pleasure to read about strong women.

I am actually totally in love with this Arnav. I cant wait to see where you will take us next on this exciting journey. Thank you for this wonderful story.

I had no idea you had continued this story. I hadissed three chapters and I'm so glad I caught up finally. such beautiful writing. you've managed to make me extremely happy and then suddenly extremely sad. I got so excited when khushi ran after arnav and told him she had feelings for him too, and then you shattered my heart into a million pieces when he walked away without trying... why did he lose hope? that's not arnav. he has to have hope. how will they establish a relationship if he doesn't even try. he must push harder.

love,
Sonia
