Chapter 6

Abhilasha gave a sly smile and said: Sir mera liye sacha dost woh hota hai jo aapna dost ko marta huya na dekh sakha aur ussa khud maar deah. (Sir, for me a true friend is someone who cannot see their friend dying so they kill their friend themselves)

Hearing this Huda's eyes widen and he freezes in one place due to shock.

Asha: "Sir...Sir aap thik hai?"(Sir...Sir are you okay) Asha tried to contain to contain her laughter as her teacher was looking like a fish out of water. She knew the definition would shock her teacher as her father used that definition and she smiled slightly at the reaction she got. Finally coming out of his trance he stared at the cadet looking almost proud and trying not to smile.

Huda: "Cadet yeh aap ko yeh definitation kisna bataya?" (Cadet who told you his definition.) Asha smiled at her teacher and looked around her shocked and curious classmates.

Asha: "Kishni na nayi sir. Sayad yeh meri knoon main hai ki main aapne dosto ko dard main naye dekh sakti our unke liya kuch bhi kar sakti hu. Even if that means killing them." (No one sir. Maybe it is in my blood that I can't see any of my friends in pain and can do anything for them. Even if it means killing them."

Asha heard gasp from several of her classmate while some of them looked at her like she had lost her mind. Huda tried to acted like Asha's answer didn't bother him but on the inside her answer was creating a Havoc.

Huda: "Very interesting Cadet. Aap beeth sakti hai." (Very Interesting Cadet. You can take you sit.) Asha nooded her head and sat down with a small smile playing on her lips.

Shaad had never been interested in any girl but there was something about the one sitting next to him. While everyone was too shocked by Asha's answer to Maj.'s question to look at her, Shaad had seen the tiny smile Asha had when Huda stood shocked. It was as if Asha had expected this type of reaction from their teacher and even now there was a small discreet smile at his face. There was definitely something going on about this girl, Shaad concluded but didn't say anything as he didn't know what exactly was going on.

Huda: "Kaye saal pehale mere Strategy and Communication teacher ney hamare class ko yeh code diya tha crack karne ko, aur who who code tha Hooty and the blowfish' aab app... (Many years ago my strategy and communication teacher had given the class a code to crack and that code was Hooty and the Blow fish.' And now...)

Huda got cut off by the bell ringing signaling the end of class.

All the cadets were sitting in the mess trying to figure out the code, except Asha as she already knew the answer to the code, after all it was her father who gave the code to Huda.

Vijay: "Ughhh I quit yar. Yeh code ko crack karna to mere bhaso ko samala say bhi muskil hai." (I quit. Cracking this code is harder than taking care of my buffalo.) Everyone smiled at his tactics.

Ridhima: "Sach kaha tumna Vijay. Yeh code ney to mugha bhi sar dard day diya hai." (You are right Vijay. This code has even given me a headache."

Ridhima smiled at Huda and Prerna looked at Shaad and rolled her eyes, but a small smile played on her lips. Shaad shook his head because he knew what was coming next.

Prerna: "Of course Ridhima Vijay kaisa kabhi galad bol sakta hai right?" (O fcourse Ridhima. How can Vijay say anything incorrect?)

The table broke out in laughter as Ridhima and Vijay turned crimson. Asha noticed Vijay and Ridhima looked at each other and the look in their eyes could not be defined as anything other than love.

Vijay: "Oye Prerna, tere problem kaya hai. Aur vakth to chup reate hai aur magar jab Ridhi aur meri baath ati hai toh taang kichna suru kar deti hai." (Hey Prerna, what is your problem. You are quite other times but when it comes to Ridhi and I, why do you tease us?)

Prerna smiled as she knew that Vijay was just pretending to be mad at her, and that he could never be actually be angry with her.

Prerna: "Woh kay hai Vijay bhai na ki aap dono hi bohat stupit ho aur mughe bohat acha lagta hai jab mere pyaari si hopefully hone wali Ridhu babhi lal ho jati hai to mughe bohat acha lagta hai." (It's just that you my brother are and idiot and I love it when my hopefully to be Sister-In Law turns red.)

Vijay: Yeh kisko tu idiot bula rahi hai or yeh kay yeh tu har vakth hone wali bhabi kathi rathi hai." (Who are you calling an Idiot and why do you keep saying babhi all the time.)

Before Prerna could could reply Shaad intrupted her.

Shaad: "Tum dono please chup ho jau. Yeh code ki vajah se pehele say hi mera sar phata ja raha hai aur or tum log ladhe hi ja raho ho." (Both of you please be quite. My head is already killing me and you guys keep arguing."

Both Prerna and Vijay gave a puppy dog face to Shaad and held their ears while Ridhima just looked relived, maybe because she got saved from more embarrassment.

Asha: Tum sab toh abhi se complain car na suru car diya hai aur abhi to training to suru bhi nayi hui hai. Kaisa survive karoge?" (You all have started complaining now and the training hasn't even started. How will you all survive that?)

Everyone turned pale as they thought of the hard training coming towards their way.

Abhi: Maine yeh challenge liya hai aur kisi bhi challenge to beech main chorna Abhi ki style nahi hai." (I have taken up this challenge and leaving a challenge in the middle is not Abhi's style.

Everyone looked at Abhi as this was the first time they heard him talk outside of class.

Raghu walked into the mess and his eyes went to the table where Asha was sitting. He remembered the conversation from yesterday and decided to check her out himself.

Raghu: After noon cadets. Hope everything is going well.

All the cadets turned and were shocked to see Raghu there.

Shaad: "Sir aap yaha?" (Sir you here?)

Raghu: "Kuyn Cadet Beig, main Mess main nay aa saktha?" (Why cadet Beig, can't I come to the mess?)

Shaad: "O..Of course y..you can s..sir." Raghu smiled at the new cadet's nervousness as it reminded him of his year as a cadet.

Raghu: "Relax Cadet I am just kidding." Hearing this Shaad visibly relaxed. Raghu: "Waise Cadets, if I am not wrong, aap logo ko Col. Niar ko report karna hai right? (Anyways cadets if I am not wrong, you have to report to col. Niar right?)

All the cadets shook their heads as a yes.

Raghu. "Well than I suggest you all leave now so you won't be late. Major Nair's training is hard, and trust me unke drills pass karne key liya aap sab ko dua boohat jarori hai." (Well than I suggest you all leave now so you won't be late. Major Nair's training is hard, and trust me to only prayers can help you pass that drill.)

Asha: Sir dua who mangata hai jise khud pe bhorasa nahi hota aur mujhe meri kabilet per pua bhorasa hai. Excuse me sir." (Sir the people who prays for something don't believe in themselves but I have full confidence in myself. Excuse me sir.)

Huda speed walked towards Brig. Chauhan's as he wanted to report todays events to him. The way Asha had given her answer had left him in shock. Lolota ji was right. Yesterday Asha did remind him of Naina, especially her big eyes, but today, today she reminded him of someone else. His Rajveer sir.

Hey guys!!! I am back. Well this is the second chapter I wrote for this story and frankly I am quite proud of it. Hope you liked it and if you don't please comment how I can improve my writing

The diary scene in last update is of shooting before bomb blast(rajveer's last scene in lrl) or u r showing another incident? Yes it was the shooting before bomb blast

The story us progressing in intriguing manner.. So much suspense about what happened in their lives ...Glued to ur story.. Glad you like the story, it means a lot to us.

A query..if naina was banished from the army,how come her friends don't know about her child and whereabouts??At least she must have been in contact with Alekh!!😲 The mystery will unfold as the story progresses. There was a lot of things about Naina that her friends didn't know.

Waiting for next update...Expecting frequent updates since both of u are writing.. we will update as frequently as possible.

Chapter 7

Huda speed walked towards Brig. Chauhan's as he wanted to report today's events to him. The way Asha had given her answer had left him in shock. Lolita ji was right. Yesterday Asha did remind him of Naina, especially her big eyes, but today, today she reminded him of someone else. His Rajveer sir.

After escaping the Mess, Asha walked towards the empty strategy and communication room. She looked around and saw no one there, therefore she entered the room. Taking the chalk she began to write the meaning of the code hootie and the blowfish unaware that Huda was watching her from the door.

Huda was shocked seeing Asha being so sneaky. It surprised him to see a first year cadet solve such a complicated code.

Huda Thinking to himself: Yeah kaisa ho shakta hai ki ek 1^st year ki cadet iss code ko itni jaldi kaisa crack kar shakti hai. Abhi to 1 ghanta bhi nahi hui hai, aur iss ne...Kahi yeah koi spy to nahi...mujhe abhi Abhimanyu sir ke pass jana padaga. (How can a 1^st year cadet crack this code so quickly? It has not even been 1 hour scnce I gave this code, and she...What if she is some spy...I have to tell Abhimanyu sir everything right now.)

With this thought in mind Huda walked toward Abhimanyu's cabin. He walked in to see Abhimanyu busy talking to someone on the phone therefore Huda took a seat and waited for him to finish. After a couple of minutes Abhimanyu cut the call.

Huda: "Kiska phone tha, sir" (Who's call was that sir)

Abhimanyu: "Uss aanath aasram se jaha who Abhilasha reahiti thi." (From the orphanage where Abhilasha lived.)
Huda: "Sirji...aap ka matlan Abhilasha aanath hai" (You mean Abhilasha is an orphan)

Abhimnayu: hummm... Ek aur baat pata chali hai. Yeah Jo hamari nahi teacher hai, Lt. Priyanka, who bhi wohi aanath asram mein thi." (Hummm...One more thing. Our new teacher, Lt. Priyanka also grew up in the orphanage.)

Huda: "Matlab agar humma koi information de shakta hai to woh Lt. Priyanka hai. (Meaning if anyone can give us any information than it is Lt. Priyanka.)

Abhimanyu: "Absolutely, aap ko kuch pata chala. (Absolutely, did you find out anything?)
Huda than explains everything that has happened throughout the morning. Hearing the events Abhimanyu becomes shocked. Silence fills the room for a couple of minutes. Having made up his mind Aabhimanyu picks up the phone and calls an orderly.

Abhimanyu: Orderly, sent Lt. Malik to my office.

A couple of minutes later someone knocks on the door. Commanding the person to come in Abhimanyu leans back on his chair.

Person: Sir you had call me.

Huda: Have a seat Lt. Malik

Giving a hesitant smile, Priyanka sits on the chair across from Huda.

Abhimanyu: "Actually Lt...humma pata chala hai ki aap wohi aanath asram mein thi jaha c adet Abhilasha thi." (Aactually Lt...we have found out that you lived in the same orphanage as cadet Abhilasha.)

Priyanka with a very confused look: "So?"
Huda: "Aap ko yeah thoda strange lagaga, magar humma cadet Singh ki bara mein kuch jhana hai...matlab ki hum baki cadets ki bara mein thoda kuch jhantahai, magar Cadet singh hamara liya ek blank page hai...ek mystery, to agar aap humma kuch bata saka toh. (You might find this a little strange, but we don't know anything about Cadet Singh...meaning, we know a little something about all the cadets, but Cadet Singh is like a blank page to us...a mystery, so if you can tell us anything."

Priyanka still very confused: yes sir...Asha is very strong girl, very independent, and strong minded. Woh ek baar kuch thaan lay to ussa kissi bhi haal mein haasil kar lati hai aur...( yes sir...Asha is very strong girl, very independent, and strong minded. If she decides something than she archives it no matter what.)

Priyanka was about to continue when Abhimanyu cut her off.

Abhimanyu: "Humma uska personal life ka bara mein kuch jhaana hai. Matlab unki Parents..." (We want to know about her personal life, like her parents..."
Priyanka was now on high alert. She was sure that something was wrong, therefore she only told them whatever she thought they needed to know, which was not a lot.

Priyanka: "Sir, as far as I know her father died before she was born and aunty is in the hospital since the past 13-14 years. Excuse me sir, my class is about to start."

Priyanka rushed out the room without looking back at the confused and suspicious faces of Huda and Abhimanyu.

The end of Priyanka's class.

Priyanka: "Ok cadets, I want all of you to makes notes on what we learned today. Cadet Abhilasha please stay back, everyone else you may go."

Everyone left the class, and Priyanka walked to Asha's desk.

Priyanka: "Asha, mujhe sach sach bata, kya tunna kuch garbard kia hai" (Asha, tell me honestly, have you done something.)
Asha: "Di, aap yeah kya bol rah hai, aur aap ko aisa kyu lag raha hai ki mein ne kuch garbard kia hai?" (Di, What are you saying and why do you think I have done something wrong?)

Priyanka: "Mujhe Chauhan sir aur Maj. Huda ne aaj unka cabin mein buliya tha. woh mujhese there bara mein pooch ra hai tha, matlab tumari personal life ki baara mein, aur parents ki bara mein bhi." (Chauhan sir and Maj. Huda and called me in his cabin today. They were asking me about you, about your personal life and parents.)

Asha: "What did you say?"
Priyanka: "Mein ne toh itna he batiya ki aunty hospital mein hai aur tumara dad ki death ho chuki hai. Asha yaha ho kya raha hai. Mein bohot confuse hoo." (I told them that aunty is in the hospital and that your dad is dead. Asha what is happening here? I am very confused.)
Asha: "Do you trust me? Do you think Ii will ever do anything wrong"
Priyanka: "Yeah kaisa sawal hai, of course mein tuj peh viswas karti hoo, agar nahi karti to iss shamai yahi nahi hota, Brig. Ki cabin mein hoti. " (What kind of question is this, of course I trust you, if I didn't than would not be here, I would be in Brig.'s cabin.)

Priyanka held Asha by her shoulder and said with a warm smile.

Priyanka: "Asha, mein tujhe tab se jhanti hoo jab tu 6 saal ki thi. Mujhe tuj mein kudh se jaada varosa hai. Mein yeah bohot aache tara se jaanti hoo ki tu kabhi bhi kuch bhi galat nahi kar shakti. Tu khud ki jaan le legi, par kuch bhi galat nahi karagi, yeah mera bharosa hai. Bas mein itna chati hoo ki tu mujhe se kuch na chupa. Mein toh yeah kahungi ki jo bhi hai, tu mujh se share kar shakti. Mein tujhe force nahi karungi ki tu mujese kuch bhi share kar, par yei suggest kaungi, baki tera haat mein hai. Aur haan, kuch bhi ho mein tere saath hoo," (Naina, I know you scene you were 6 years old. I trust you more than myself. I know very well that can never do anything wrong. You will take your die, but never side with the wrong, that is my belief in you. I just want you to not hide anything from me. I will just tell you that you can share anything with me. I will not force you, but I will suggest that you share your problems, the rest is your choice. And remember, no matter what, I will always be with you)

Hearing Priyanka Asha got emotional. Not being able to control she wrapped her arms around Priyanka and embraced her in a warm and emotional hug. Priyanka also wrapped around her sister's shoulders. They separated and Priyanka wiped Asha's tears. Feeling Priyanka's love aand care towards her, Asha decided something.

Asha: "Di, aap please mera saath aaiea." (Di, please come with me.)

Asha and Priyanka walked towards the front of the academy until they reached the wall of fame.

Asha: "Captain Rajveer Singh Shekhawat. Aap hamasa jaana chati thi ki mera papa kyon hai. Kyon hai who aadmi jisa mein inta pyaar kati hoo, itna maan thi hoon, regardless the fact ki mein ne una khabi bhi nahi dekha. Yehi hai who. Captain Rajveer Singh Shekhawat hi mera papa hai." (Captain Rajveer Singh Shekhawat. You always wanted to know who my father was. Who was the person I love and respect so much regardless the fact that I have never seen him? This is him. Captain Rajveer Singh Shekhawat is my father. )

Priyanka looked like a deer caught in a headlight. Her eyes wide of shock, and her hands looked like they were shaking. After about a minute of Asha snapping her fingers, Priyanka came back to reality, but she still just kept looking at Asha and Rajveer's picture withh a confused look. Naina held Priyanka's hand.

Asha: "Di, aap kethe thi ki mera maama aap ki bhi maa hai. Mein jo bhi kar rahi hoo, iss academy mein jo bhi kar rahi hoo aapni maa kay liya kar rahi hoo. Di, kya aap mujhe help karengi." (Di, you used to say that my mom was also your mom. Whatever I am doing, whatever I am doing in here, I am doing it for mom. Di, will you help me.)

Priyanka finally coming out of her shock: "Agar iss mein maa ki bhalai hai to mein aapni jaan bhi deh shaki hoo. Bol kya karna hai" (If it is going to help mom than I can even give my life, what do I have to do?"

Asha with a fun smile: "Jaan nahi deni hai, bas muje papa ki dono cases ki file ki jharut hai." (You won't have to give your life, I just need both of dad's case file."
Priyanka: "Don't worry, meri ek friend hai, army lawyer. Teen-Chaar din mein file tera paas hoga." (Don't worry, I have a friend, an army lawyer. The files will be with you in 3-4 days.)

With a hug both of them walked towards their room.)

NAINA'S JOURNAL...

MY NOTE

Hey guys,

What's up? I just want to thank for all the support I am getting for this book. It is just a good feeling when you know that people actually like your work, because I personally love to write. If it was up to me I would write 24*7, but it is not up to me, it is up to time. I will post as frequently as I can. I am starting HIGH SCHOOL tomorrow...High School...it seems unreal. I am so excited and nervous. The next post will be in about 3-5 days...hope that is okay, and the next couple of [art will be specials like independent's day special and Rakhi/ Raksha Bhandan special. For the Raksha Bandhan special I am planning something special, so stayed tuned.
