Precap---Lolita's thought: "yeah kya ho raha hai. Yeah ladki khi mujahe Naina ki yaar dila rahi hai, or yeah kaun se love story ki baar kar rahi thi. Nahi kuch garbar hai. Mujahe Abhimanyu se bat Karin padigi. (What is happening? Why I'd this girl reminding me of Naina so much, and what is this love story she was talking about. No, something is definitely wrong. I have to talk to Abhimanyu)

Chapter 5

At the Game room Suriji, Raghuvendra, Huda and Abhimanyu were busy playing carrom.

Abhimanyu: Kya tum sab Cadet Abhilasha Singh se mile? (Have you all met Cadet Abhilasha Singh?)

Raghuvendra: Nahi. At least mein to aab tak nahi mila kyu? (No. At least I have not met her yet, why?)

Abhimanyu: Saaid hum hi kuch jaada soch rahai hai, magar pata nahi kyu, woh hamma kuch jaane phechane se lagte hai. Un mein kuch aaisa jo hamma bohot familiar lagta hai. (Maybe I am thinking too much about this, but I don't know why but she look familiar. Something about her seems very familiar.)

Suriji: Srif aap ko aisa nai lagta. (You are not the only one that thinks that)

Huda: Matlat (Meaning)

Suriji: Matlab yeah ki yeah Abhilasha jab mess mein aayi thi to woh Ridhi aur Prerna Bitiya. Pata nahi kyu uska baat karna ka dhang, uska who kya bolta hai, haan personality uska haar ek cheez ne mujhe kisi ka yaad dila diya, par pata nahi kiska. (Meaning that when this Abhilasha came to the mess than she was wth Ridhi and Prerna daughters. I don't know why the way she talked, her, what do you call that yes, her personality, everything about her reminds her reminds me of someone, I just don't know who."

Huda was about to say something when someone said something from the door, which made all of them shocked.

Person at the door: "yeah ladki aap logo ko Naina ki yaad dili rahi hogi, kyu?" (This girl might me reminding you of Naina.)

The person walked in and sad down on the chair in between Suriji and Huda. The room became quiet for a minute. Everyone in the room was lost in their own thought. Each remembering the bitter-sweet moments of the past. Even Raghu was lost in thoughts about his Naina Massi (aunt.)

Raghu: "Naina as in Naina Massi."

Lolita with no emotion: "haan"

Huda: Ma'am yeah aap kya bool rahi hoo. Yeah kaisa ho Shakta ha. (Ma'am what are you saying. How can this be possible?)

Abhimanyu: "Lolita ji, aap ko aaisa kyu lagata hai ki Aabhilasha humma Naina ki yaad dili rahi hai." (Lolita ji, why do you think that Aabhilasha reminds us of Naina?")

Lolita: "Aap sab ko woh Naina ki teddy yaad hai?" (Do you all remember Naina's teddy) Gaining a positive nod from Abhimanyu and Suriji, she continued.

Lolita: "Mein rounds karta karta woh room par pooche. Main ne dekha ki Abhilasha ki room ki darwaza khula hai. Mein ne dekha ki woh window ki saamne, woh teddy liye khade thi. Ek pal kai liye mujhe bhi aaisa laga ki mera saamne Naina khadi hai." ( I reached that room during my rounds. I saw that Abhilasha's room door was open. I saw that she was standing near the window

With that teddy in her hands. For a moment I felt like Naina was standing in front of me)

Lolita narrated what she saw and what she felt for Abhilasha. After she finished talking everyone once again got quiet. Huda was the one that broke the silence.

Huda: "Malab agar humma iss lakdi ka bara mein kuch bhi jaana hai to who diary he hamari help kar shakti hai." (Meaning if we want to know anythng about this girl than this diary will be able to help us)

Aabhimanyu: "Huda, iss se pehle ki hum uss ke saaman ko haat lagiaye, hum aap ne informer se keh kar uss Abhilasha ke bara mein sab pata karna ki koshis kata hai." (Huda, before we go through her things, I will have my informer dig up everything about her.

Huda: Okay, magar iss wakt mujhe bohot need aa rahi hai so goodnight. (Okay, but I am feeling very sleepy right now, so goodnight.)

Everyone went to their respected quarters, but no one that night received a good night's rest.

Next morning at Asha's, Ridhi's, and Prerna's room. They were running from one corner of the room to the next, looking for various things. They were running late and had to report at the hall in 5 minutes.

Prerna: "Ridhi, Asha, Have you seen one of my socks.

Ridhi: "Mujhe nahi pata, suitcase mein dekh le." (I don't know, look in the suitcase)

Prerna: "Mein ne dekh liya hai, magar nahi mila. Ridhi mein pehli din hi late nahi hona chaathi, please kuch kar." (I looked, but it is not there. Ridhi I don't want to be late for my first day, please do something.)

Ridhi: "Yaar, please stop nagging. Meri drawer mein dekh, kuch extra pairs hongai." (Stop nagging. Look in my drawer and see if you can find any extra pairs.)

Asha: "Guya jaldi karo. Hum late ho jhainge." (Guys hurry up. We are going to be late.)

At the hall.

Abhimanyu: "Welcome 1^st year cadets and 2^nd year cadets welcome back. Humma bohot garve meashoos ho raha hai, app sab ki josh, junoon aur desh ki shewa karna ki iccha dekh kar. 1^st year cadets, hum sab bohot khush hai ki app logo ne KMA ko aapne khubsurut journey ka hissa banaya hai. Yaha par aap sab ko bohot mehanat karna padaga. Aap ki teachers aap ko aapki breaking point to dhaka deinga. Kahi baar aap sab ko laga gha ki aap sab chord kar wapas chala jhai. Aap sab ko aape hosh aur shakti ko barkaar rakhna padaga aur aab mein unlogo ko bulina chahuga jo aap ko aapki iss journey mein madat karange." (Welcome 1^st year cadets and 2^nd year cadets welcome back. I am feeling very proud to see all of your spirit, devotion, and want to help your country. 1^st year cadets, we are very happy that you have decided to include KMA in your beautiful journey. All of you will have to work very hard. Your teachers will take you to your breaking point. Many time you will feel like leaving everything and going back. You will have to maintain your sense and stamina and now I will like to call on those who will help thoughout this journey)

Huda: "Welcome cadets. Mein hoon Major Amerdeep Huda, aap sab ka vice-principle aur Strategy and communication ka teacher." (Welcome Cadets, I am Major Amerdeep Huda, your vice-principle and Strategy and Communication teacher.)

Nair: "Mein hoon Colonel Nair. Mein Structure and function of the army padaunga aur drills bhi assist karunga. Ek cheez yaad rakhna cadets. Mein yaha tum saab ka dost bana nahi aaya hoo, so I expect all of you to stay in your limits." (I am Colonel Nair. I will be teaching structure and function of the army and assisting the drills. Remember one thing cadets, I am not here to become your friend, so I expect everyone to stay in your limits.)

Shalini: "I am Colonel Dr. Shalini the infirmary in charge. I expect to get to know all the cadets really well over the year, because something tells me that you all visit me quite often." This earned a round of laughter from the cadets.

Raghu: "Hum hain Lt. Raghuvendra Rai Chauhan, drill commander." (I am Lt. Raghuvendra Rai Chauhan, your drill commander.)

Suriji: "hello putarji. Main hoon Subedar Suri, urf suriji. Mein mess dekhta hoo saath he saath ladko ka hostel bhi." (Hello Children. I am Subedar Suri AKA suriji. I look after the Mess and Boya hostel.)

Lolitta: I am subedar Major Lolita Singh, girls' hostel warden.

Priyanka: "Hello everyone. I am Lt. Priyanka Malik. Mein aap sab ko Psychological Warfare padaungi. I look forward to getting to know all the cadets and help you throughout your journey in KMA" (Hello everyone. I am Lt. Priyanka Malik. I will be teaching you all Psychological Warfare. I look forward to getting to know all the cadets and help you throughout your journey in KMA)

Huda's class

Huda was facing the blackboard and writing something on it when the 1^st year cadets started coming in.

Huda: "Welcome cadets to your first Strategy and communication class. Yeah peahla class hai iss liya mein chata hoo ki sab cadets aapna aapna introduction day or kuch aaisa keahi ki humma unki personality ki bara mein kuch pata chal shaka thaki hum ek dhusra ki upar aur bhorasa kar shaka. So Cadet Sharma why don't you start." (Welcome cadets to your first Strategy and communication class. This is your first class so I want all the cadets to introduce themselves and say something else which will help us understand their personality better, so we can each other. So Cadet Sharma why don't you start.)

Rhidi: "Hello everyone, my name is Ridhima Sharma. I don't like to talk a lot, but I am very good at observing people and their attitude."

Huda: "Thank you Cadet, but unfortunately you will not be able to survive this class by just observation so you will have to be social...next"
Vijay: "Mein hoon Vijay...Vijay Huda. Just like my name mujhe jheetna pasand hai, I hate losing."(I am Vijay...Vijay Huda. Just like my name I love to win, I hate loosing. )

Huda: Cadet Huda unfortunately app hamasa nahi jeet shakta kuiki zindagi ek khel hai jis mein haar bhi ho shakti hai aur jeet bhi, bas zindagi mein haar khabi mat maana, kuiki aap tabi haarta hai jab aap haar maan jayangi. (Cadet Huda unfortunately you will not always be able to win because life is a game in which you can win and lose, but remember to never let defeat stop you because you only lose when you let defeat win over you)

Abhijeet Bose: "I am Abhijeet Bose. Mera maana hai iss dhuniya mein haar insaan aapna liya jeeta hai. Koi kissi ka nahi. Hum aakala aaya tha aur aakala hi jhayanga" (I am Abhijeet Bose. I believe that every person in this world lives for themselves. None belongs to anyone. We came alsone and we will leave alone.)
Huda: "interesting."

Prerna: Umm...ummm...sir. I am Prerna Sahni. I believe that everyone has their own ta...talent. It is just a matter of time before one discovers it. Ii think that every person has a child hidden inside them and that all are children from heart."
Huda: Okay...Cadet Beig"
Shaad: Sir...I am Shaad Rajveer Ali Beig. Main ek bohot cool or patient insaan hoo. Mujhe ghussa jhada zalda nahi aata. Is dhuniya mujhe kissi cheez se nafrat hai to who jhoot se hai, aur jhoot hi ek aise chez hai jo mujhe ghussa dhila shakti hai. (Sir...I am Shaad Rajveer Ali Beig. I am a very cool and patient person. I don't get angry very easily. If I hate anything in this world than it is lies, and a lie is the only thing that make me angry.)

Huda: Ok...Now time for Cadet Singh

Asha: "Sir...I am cadet Abhilasha shek...I mean Abhlasha Singh. Mujhe mera kaarabi Asha bhulata hai. Mera liye zindagi mein sab se jharuri rishta hai doshti ka rishta, magar aaj kal saacha dost milna bohot muskil hai." (Sir...I am cadet Abhilasha shek...I mean Abhilasha Singh. Those close to me call me Aha. For me, the most important relationship is friendship...but it is very difficult to find friends these days.)

Huda got shocked hearing Asha almost say Shekhawat but soon recovered and asked

Huda: "So cadet, what is your definition of True friendship?"

Abhilasha gave a sly smile and said: Sir mera liye sacha dost woh hota hai jo aapna dost ko maara huya na dekh sakha aur ussa khud maar deah. (Sir, for me a true friend is someone who cannot see their friend dying so they kill their friend themselves)

Naina's diary

The day your dad took me to point 1857 was the best day of my life. I got to see the child hidden inside him as he pulled me to the echo point. At that point, when we were screaming each other's names we weren't a captain and a Cadet. We were just Rajveer and Naina...just Rajveer and Naina. I never felt as close to him as I did then. There was something in his eyes, something I had never seen before, a kind of excitement and adoration that made his whole face glow.

When he put my dupatta on my head, when he held my arms and led me to echo point, when you just there and said nothing but heard everything. In each other's heart. Those were the times that made me realize just how much I love him, and I always will.

Asha, it is not always NEEDED to say what is in your heat, but it is IMPORTANT that you do. Baby, never fear the outcome of speaking your mind, because you are simply expressing your opining when you do that, and it is never wrong to have an opinion. Just remember that the perfect time never come, the perfect time is the time when you tell. I know that you are going to grow up to be a beautiful girl and will surely fall in love one day. I will advise you to not fear love or fear expressing your love because the most that can happen is he will reject you, but if your love is true than he will surely become yours one day. Also remember that love is not only about gaining but also about losing.

My note

Late, Late, Late I know. I hope you got my PM for my reason for being last and hope you understand, but now I am back for good. I know this is just a filler for I wanted to deepen my characterization. As I went back and read Rebirth of Love, I realized my characters were very shallow, and I didn't want to make the same mistake in this as well. I wanted to show that each cadet was a different person and more than that I wanted to show that Huda had become more mature. Once again if you want to receive my PMs than add me to your buddy list and or comment down below. I also realized that I forgot to mention who was playing the role of Raghu, and Priyanka, and also Samrat, Bani, Komal (Who aren't in the story yet) so hear it is.
