A girl in her early twenty's was sleeping, in her hello kitty night suit, in a large king size bed, the
room was decorated in red and white theme, there were red rose petals scattered everywhere,
even there were few rose petals still present on the milky white bed sheet, it was a Sunday
morning, the clock was showing 9.30 sharp, but the girl was in her dream land clutching her
pillow tight the words came from her mouth "Shivaammm, hmm kya kar rahe ho...I Love...you..."
but her thought was broken when somebody pulled the window curtains, the sun showered its
rays through the window panes to bring her back to reality. She turned around and found her
hands clutching the pillow. She woke up straight, and then it struck to her mind, that yesterday
was her wedding night, and she was officially married to the business tycoon, Reyansh
Singhania, her brother's business partner and best friend from school days. She was married
against her wish, she loved Shivam Malhotra, a middle class guy from her college days, but her
brother was always against her relationship with Shivam, and last week when he found out that
she is planning to run away with Shivam, she was immediately locked up in the Shekhawat
House, under the strict eyes of his brothers trusted employees, Later on she came to know about
Shivam's truth, when she was almost being raped by him, when all of a sudden Shivam
managed to enter Shekhawat House, and asked her to bring all the jewelleries and property
papers from her brother's room and then they will run away, when she denied, his true colours
came out, he said it on his face that she is just a useless shit without her brother's property, and
then he imposed himself on her saying if not property then better he can taste her
sweetness...whereas she was unable to understand what she was going through, she couldn't
even imagine the same Shivam, who used to make her so happy, how could he stoop so low, his
true colours came out but she was saved before, she loses her self esteem, by her brother and
his guards, and within one week of the incident, ie. Yesterday she was married to his best friend.
From Taani Shekhawat, she became Mrs.Taani Reyansh Singhania, much against her wish,
Shivam has uprooted her existence, her, self respect, she couldn't trust anyone, for her the word
LOVE is itself a SIN.
It's not that her brother doesn't love her or understand her, he loves her, she is the apple of his
eyes, from child hood he has taken care of her, being 3 years older than her, he was always
protective, as they lost their mother in an early age, and when their father died, he was in college
and she just entered her high school, but he took care of her just as her parents, himself
struggling with his studies and business, but his best friend Reyansh Singhania was always
with him, after college they merged the business, and now within 4 years of merger, Singhania &
Shekhawat Construction, is the leading name in not only Indian but in Asian Market too. He has
fulfilled all her wishes, but Shivam was the only No, which he did not allow her, she fought with
him, argued with him regarding Shivam, but the incident made her realize that her brother was
correct, but she was sure her brother will give her time to overcome but no she was immediately
married and now after this marriage, She was sure that Reyansh manipulated her brother, taking
advantage of the incident and that's the reason she so hates Reyansh Singhania.
Her chain of thought was broken when Rey handed her favourite mug of hot caffechino, she was
surprised, how come he know her likes, and specially after what happened yesterday night, her
wedding night. Dressed in a beautiful lehenga, clad with lots of ornaments, specially the mangal
sutra embed with a super costly diamond pendant, she was waiting for her husband in his
room...yes his room, she can never accept this as her room even not in her dreams, then how
can she accept him as her husband? Rey came in and locked the door from inside; he took
steps towards her, but all his fears came true, it was not that he was hoping a grand loving
gesture from his newly wedded wife but he didn't even expect this.
Flash Back-
T-listen Mr. Reyansh Singhania, you married me and I could do nothing as my own bhai did not
understand my feelings, and dare you come near me...don't ever think of touching me, I am not
yours, and I can never be...you had money, you manipulated my brother and married me, but you
will never get my love and if u try to get my body... you can, but remember one thing the moment u
touch me I will kill my self...I Loved Shivam but he used me, and now I realize all men are same.
And these mangal sutra which u have tied in my neck, it's like a suicidal node on my neck, it is
suffocating me and so (By saying this she pulled it out from her neck, in the process hurting
herself, there was red scratch on the back side of her neck and threw it near Rey's legs).I hate
you so much.
Rey took the mangal sutra and put it before the Krishnaji Idol that Taani had brought from her
home, she believed a lot on Lord Krishna, and still she had hopes that one day there will be
someone who will love her unconditionally, not manipulate her for her ancestral property. After
this he went towards the closet, took out a tube, and came and sat near Taani, she was worried
and she was bit frightened, she was sure that may be Rey doesn't give a damn to her words, and
takes her virginity right there being dominative and clamming his rights on his wife, her thoughts
got more colours, when sitting just mere in a hand distance from her, he pulled her and she
came crashing on his chest, her palms were just above his heart and her head rested on his
shoulder, tears started flowing from her eyes, when she felt his cold fingers she closed her eyes
shivered by his touch, but soon she understood that he was just putting ointment on the place
where she got the scratch while tearing off the mangal sutra, he separated her from his chest
and her eyes were closed but tears were flowing, he cupped her face in his hand, and rubbed her
tears with his thumb, and then left her and stood up. She felt the lack of his warmth, her tears
were flowing but that moment she couldn't understand what was the exact reason...was it
because, he did not touch her, was it because after showing such brutal behaviour till he cared
for her, was it because she wanted his warmth, or was she crying because she regretted her
own words, or was it for Shivam. But there was yet things left for the night, when Rey started with
his words-
R-Taani, mujhe pata hai that you loved Shivam, and I still married you, I know you have no faith left
in love, and relation, but ur brother was worried about u, he wanted to see you happy, and if
anybody else married u, the person wouldn't understand your feelings, Taani take your own time,
I am sure you will overcome your past, and then u can move on in your future, if it is not with me,
then anybody u choose, but be careful in your decision, life has given u a second chance, don't
it, kal se college jana start karna, don't be frightened I will drop u every day, and Shivam is already
arrested, 3 months left for ur final exam, don't waste your time, all ready u have missed your
classes a lot and I assure you, if you find a better person in your life,I will free u from the relation
and also will handle ur bhai, but if not then you will be my wife forever (With a pause) legally for
the world, but I will not claim my rights on you, without ur wish and u know Taani, tumhe
mangalsutra torne ki jarurat nahii thi...etna bhi mai bura nahi hu Taani, aur tumharii yeah
mangalsutra I am keeping in the feet of ur krishnajii, and I am sure the day will come when u will
bring that mangal sutra to me and ask me to tie it once again...I am 100% sure about that, and till
then be comfortable on bed, I knew this would happen so I have already arranged a couch, and I
will sleep in it. Just that don't tell ur bhai about all this, he will be hurt, and one last thing, I know
Taani, whatever I say doesn't even matter to you, but still aj tum bohot khubsurat lag rahii ho,
humara rista kuch different hota, feelings mutual hota...bohot preety lag rahii ho...and you know
tum traditional Indian dresses mai bohot khub surat lagtii ho...Now go change and sleep. Be
comfortable.
Flash back ends----
Taani did not take the caffechino from his hand, saying that she likes tea, not even coffee, and
then she went towards the closet, her hands fell on a dark red anarkali suit..and she
remembered his words, which he said the previous night-" tum traditional Indian dresses mai
bohot khub surat lagtii ho" and then she remembered Shivam's words-"Taani jeans kiu pehentii
ho, you should were tight tops and short hot pants, then your perfect watch glass figure will be
reflected, it will be a treat to watch," she didn't want to feel so but at that moment she was feeling
cheap remembering Shivam's words, somewhere down the line, Rey's words reflected care and
respect, but then her ego trolled over her and she took a white jeans and a pink top, and went to
the washroom to get ready.
Rey's POV-
Pagal hai, full of childishness, she never likes tea, but just to irritate me she wants to drink tea, I
Love u Taani, not from today or yesterday but from years, when u were just 8, jab tum mere and
Swayam ke cricket match ke middle mai akee disturb kartee thee batting ki jidd kia karte thae,
and u never accepted to be out, I love you from that time, at that time it was a different love, but
with time I realized that I was falling madly for u, and then when u were in college I came to know
about Shivam, believe me Taani, if Shivam was a decent person, I would have convinced
Swayam, keeping my feelings hidden, but he was not the right person for u baby I know Taani,
that u loved him with all your heart, he is a real looser that he chose money over u, that night after
the incident Swayam called me, you were sleeping after taking medicine, he was feeling
helpless, you needed lots of love and care to overcome the mental trauma, only brother's love
was not sufficient, it was then I decided to marry you, Swayam knew about my feelings for u, but
we never discussed, that night everything was fixed, because I exactly knew what u were going
through, and more than me, no one can understand what a person feels when u don't get your
love in return...I can feel ur pain, don't worry I will always be there right beside u, and then one day
u will surely realize what u mean to me, u can recognize ur true love who was always right beside
you since years, may be then when u will reciprocate your feelings. I will wait for u Taani, but I
promise a day will come when u will say that you love me, you will wear the same mangalsutra,
but I will not impose anything on you, I will give u time sweetheart...You are just mine and a day
will come when u will accept it, till then I will accept all ur behaviors, harsh or anything u want to
show.I will bring u out of ur past, all men are not same Taani, nothing can change my love for u.
The washroom door clicked open, she came out wearing a pink short top and a white jeans, her
hair was open, water droplets were dripping from her she was looking stunning Rey was having
a tough time to control his feelings, but with that tears were in his eyes, tears of pain and the
feeling that she doesn't love him, his eyes fell on the mangalsutra kept near the feet of krishnajii,
he couldn't control himself so he excused to the washroom for changing. Taani went downstairs,
and the breakfast was ready by kaka, she asked for her caffechino, and kaka handed it over, she
took a glance towards the stairs and drank it soon before he comes. He came down, he was
smirking, he saw this little naughty act of hers from behind the pillars, they had their breakfast in
comfortable silence, and later Rey dropped her in the college, and himself drove off to office.
