Anu,

What do I say now? Can I just come and HUG you?🤗

You know sometimes in our lives we meet people who make us want to be a better person or a good human. Similar to that there are some stories that just touch our hearts and stir myriad of emotions within us and make us want be good with words and drive us to write the best comment. And it happened to me with this story and when I think about it, more than the story it's your writing that evokes the emotions.

Your writing is so expressive and deep that in just few words you wrap the emotions, characters and story. I am amazed that in just four chapters you recited love story of Arnav and Khushi, story of a brother and sister, journey of a boy who is lost, goes through the tremors of life, struggles to fight his way back to normalcy and finds an anchor in midnight black eyes. The life story of Lt. Col. Raizada in the past 9 years and present and a heart touching relationship of a father and daughter. The best thing about all this was, it didn't feel rushed and you did total justice to each and every character and nuances of the story.

Indeed, beginning it is.

9 years back Khushi saved Arnav and today she saved his daughter. 9 years back Arnav pushed Khushi away from him to protect her and today he pulled her into his life to protect her for rest of his life.

I like the way you concluded this story. Just like how the first part left me with a ray of hope that they will meet again, this chapter again made me hopeful and happy that they met, words, questions, explanations nothing is required as they will together write their own story.

This is the kind of story and writing that brings a calm, content and positivity when read.

Meri Ms. Anu...what an idea janeman. 👏
But tunne yeh Tom-Jerry game weekend pe khela and you know how busy i am with other games in the weekend. 😆

Loved the last chapter sweetheart...could not have asked for a better ending...A new beginning indeed!

As usual an amazing narrative, detailing spot on...i wish i was eloquent enough with words to praise it with all the right words that this story deserves.

Khushi's feelings were described so beautifully by you...i loved the scene where she was holding on to his old jacket trying to leave 9 yr old memories behind but failing miserably and the scene where she feels a momentary sadness at the thought that her Lt. Col has moved on in his life while she is still languishing in memories of the past.

And aur kya kahoon tumne toh Arnav ko kickboxing coach bhi bana diya...

A jhapii for you my Ms. Anu🤗

Anupama lovely ending
Loved how you wrote Khushi's life. Her work and her love for stitching and her bonding with her brother and she remembering and cherishing memories of those 8 days .

Arnav is working as kickboxing coach.
Arnav saved Khushi again and by seeing him she felt happy that she again and sad as he married and guilty knowing his wife no more and felt hope again.
Loved the oicture of Arnav with one arm carrying Shubhi and with one arm he holding Khushi.
Yes, indeed it all started with him saving her again. The Beginning.

This is a lovely story! I enjoyed reading all the emotions that you have described here.

Arnav getting married even though he couldn't forget Khushi was very real and natural. Khushi remembering him always and wondering if he remembers her or not. And then finally she realises that Arnav does remember her. The joy she felt at that realisation was very well put. Second chances in life are very rare. So it's all the more heart warming to read about them...

Although I would have loved to read on, I agree that this is a beautiful end to the story.

You are a wonderful writer Anu... The chances of 'HOPE' you portrayed is awesome... I mean a simple gesture , an unspoken word or a yearning look can be it right...??? It can lead a soul to it's life... Each and every part of the story voicelessly voice about it...
Awesome Anu... It's really really beautiful... I love the way you leave certain things for the imagination of readers... For the same reason I don't want you to write an epilogue to TM...
