I just stumbled across this story and I'm glad I did! I don't think I have read any story on this forum that starts off from the infamous mandir scene. I do like the way you have added these additional twists to the Diwali and mandir scenes to make it different from the show.

After reading the first part, I have so many questions in my head:
Where is Lavanya? If there is no Lavanya, what work was Khushi doing in the Raizada house?
What is the situation with Shyam?
How long have they been separated now (I don't know if I missed any mention of it)
What is Khushi up to nowadays and why is she back in Delhi...is she getting married to someone else?

I'm so intrigued with this story that I can't wait to find out all the questions above.

Also, I like the way you have portrayed Arnav's POV throughout the first part. Really enjoyed reading this thoughts!

You're doing a good job especially considering it's your first story! I have a question, are all the dialogues going to be in Hindi only?? Can you please add English translations if there is really heavy Hindi dialogue (just a small request)?
