"It was his idea!"said NK and Akash at the same time pointing at Arnav.Arnav widened his eyes.

"What the!Traitors!"mumbled Arnav glaring at the boys.He turned his attention to the girls"Um...is Khushi here?"

Lavanya was about to reply but stopped hearing Khushi's mumbling voice

"Traitors!Can't believe they left leaving me here.Wonder what will happen nex-"Khushi stopped seeing Payal,Lavanya,Akash,NK,and Arnav in front of their tent.Khushi put on a confused face.

"Khushi,Arnav had come to meet you"informed Lavanya with a hint of teasing.

Khushi turned her eyes to Arnav who just kept gazing at her.Khushi gave a small blush to which Arnav smirked.A loud booming voice broke the entrance

"Morning campers!Today as you probably know is our last day of camp."Some people groaned."Today we are going to do something very exciting so follow me"

Everybody followed him.Arnav walked next to Khushi slipping his hand into hers and entwined their fingers.Khushi looked startled and looked at Arnav and smiled.Arnav was glad that Khushi was okay with holding hands unlike last time.Eventually the coach stopped walking and stood in front of a forest.He turned toward the campers and said

"Today you campers are going hiking on your own and will be using these compasses"he showed some compasses"Hopefully everybody should know how to use them but if you don't tell me now"

Arnav nudged Khushi and whispered"Do you know how to use one"

"O-of c-course"stuttered Khushi.She was lying.She didn't know how to use one and seeing no one raise their hands to say they don't know how to,made her nervous.Coach continued

Everybody immediately came forward and picked their compasses except Khushi and Arnav.Khushi slowly came forward and picked up one hesitantly looking at it with a frightened expression.She didn't notice Arnav talking to the coach in a quiet voice and pointing at her.The coach looked at her and then her compass and said something back in a hushed voice.Arnav nodded and came towards where Khushi was standing and picked up a compass which looked exactly like Khushi's.

"Everybody begin!"yelled coach.Everybody raced off into the forest.Arnav calmly walked into it with complete ease while Khushi began fumbling with her compass.She began walking into the forest.She looked around her surroundings to see any harmful objects or even worse creatures.She shuddered at that thought and kept walking.She began cursing her ego because it was all it's fault.If her ego hadn't come into the way of asking coach how to use the compass,she wouldn't be in this mess.It was also Arnav's fault.If he hadn't asked her if she knew how to use the compass,her ego would not have come in the way.She began cursing Arnav.She stopped walking when she heard footsteps.She gulped.She turned around to find nothing.She turned back and began walking.She heard footsteps following her.Without looking back she began to run but she could still hear footsteps-in fact they began running too.The footsteps eventually caught up to her.An arm pulled her by the waist and a hand covered her mouth knowing she would scream.Khushi widened her eyes and began struggling when she heard a deep familiar voice

Khushi stopped struggling realizing it was Arnav.Arnav let her go and Khushi took a step back seeing them so close.He finally asked

That's when Khushi took in his state.There were some small leaves on his shirt and some in his hair.She giggled.Arnav noticed that and said

Khushi giggled for some time and then shook her head.She walked up to Arnav and brushed the leaves out of his hair not noticing how close she was to Arnav.Arnav took in her fresh scent.She smelled so good that he felt like never letting her go.His attraction for her seemed growing and it scared him.He never liked a girl before and here he felt like a teenage love boy happy to see his lady love.Lady Love.Had he by any chance fallen in love with her?Was what he was calling attraction love?No!Love didn't exist...right?He couldn't believe he was having doubts on believing something called love existed.

Khushi was done cleaning the leaves from his hair and looked at him to find him staring at her.She frowned.He did that quite a lot,she noticed.Was there something wrong with her face.She shook her face with that thought and waved her hand over Arnav's eyes bringing him out of his thoughts.Then she realized something.

Khushi blushed in embarrassment.She did need help.Arnav smiled and showed Khushi how to use her compass.They began walking through the forest together.After some time Khushi noticed a waterfall.She grinned and showed Arnav.Arnav gave a small smile.

Arnav turned and walked a few steps but then he noticed Khushi wasn't following him.He turned and widened his eyes in horror.Khushi was standing very close to the waterfall and was leaning to touch it.She obviously didn't know how powerful the waterfall was.

Khushi turned to see Arnav and unconsciously touched the waterfall.The water weighed heavily on her hands pulling her.

Arnav immediately ran towards Khushi.She was already halfway down the cliff and was holding onto a rock but her hands were slippery so she was having a difficult time.Arnav took off his jacket throwing it away from the waterfall.He made sure his hands weren't wet and stretched towards Khushi.

Khushi shook her head in no.

Arnav leaned closer and grabbed Khushi's wrists and pulled her to safety.She was breathing heavily like him and was literally on top of him.Arnav wrapped his arms around her pulling her closer reminding himself she was safe.He closed his eyes in relief.He slowly sat up making Khushi sit in his lap.Khushi had her arms on his shoulders.Arnav suddenly grabbed her shoulders in a very tight grip and nearly yelled

"What the hell were you doing?Why didn't you listen to me?I told you not to go near the damn waterfall,then why did you?Can't you listen to me for once?I don't say things like don't go near the waterfall,it's dangerous for nothing.It has a meaning"Khushi opened his mouth to say something but he cut her off"Now you will listen to me...We are going to find the damn flags and get out of this damn forest with you listening to me and NOT WANDERING AROUND,UNDERSTOOD"Khushi nodded.

Arnav stood up and grabbed his jacket and wrapped it around Khushi whereas she just realized she was wet.He began walking through the forest using his compass and Khushi followed.She kept trying to start up a conversation with him or at least get him to forgive her but all efforts went to waste.Eventually they found the flags and when they came back it was dark.Lavanya and NK were the winners but didn't seem to be very happy.Some people made it before Arnav and Khushi and the remaining came after some time.Arnav left and had gone towards his friends.Lavanya made her way to Khushi and said

Khushi couldn't help but laugh.Coach then said

Everybody left for their tents and began packing.After packing being done,they slept except for Khushi.She couldn't help feel guilty about what had happend earlier.He was right.She should've listened.She should apologize.She got up and made her way to Arnav's tent and knocked on it hoping Arnav will open it but instead a very tired Akash opened.He put on a confused face and asked

He turned and woke Arnav up.After some time Arnav came out and scowled.Khushi fidgeted a bit and finally said

Arnav sighed and said

Arnav decided to play a bit angry for fun and said

Tears brimmed in Khushi's eyes and one escaped.Arnav immediately came closer to Khushi and wiped it away

"Friends again?"she asked in such an adorable voice.Arnav chuckled and nodded.She smiled and hugged him tightly.Then she let go and said

Khushi went to tent and after Arnav went into his.

The next morning Khushi woke up and stretched and looked around.Where was Lavanya and Payal?She looked at her clock and widened her eyes.It was 6:24.She had missed the bus!She was all alone!
