Beautiful update...dadi's tactics always work...arhi alone in this weather something good had to happen and it did...arnav made her day after 15 years without knowing it was her birthday and when he got to know he could not help but kiss her in the rain...the difference in their status definitely will not work in their favour but i hope they both stay together...now even khushi will not run away from him...brilliant

I just found this fan fiction and read it all in one sitting. Arnav's guilt, brought about by betraying his best friend is very realistic. I am a little unsure about Khushi not making any new friends for 15 years and just waiting for Arnav to come back some day. After all, she was only 10 when he left. I think it is safe to assume she was abused by someone (probably known to both Arnav and Khushi) and Arnav was too afraid to rescue her.
That said, she is still adorable with all her insecurities and how can you not love her when such seemingly trivial things make her so happy - it must be infectious and irresistible to Arnav!
Looking forward to read more...

That was so beautiful, poignant and heartbreaking.

He is slowly but surely coming to a realization of what she means to him and the kiss was just so perfect. First one, he realizes her fear and what he has been missing in allthose other encounters, second one he makes her trust and theirs one they connect with eachother...then wham...you tear them apart agai...may be forever?

Where does this girl find the courage to live on in her dreary life...that had been allocated to her by fate and society? Even her thoughts on how she usually celebrated her birthday by lighting a candle in the backyard and pretending that the trees etc wishing her...it was so sad.

I was really happy that she got the spend this birthday with her best friend.

I now look forward to how Dadi and Arnav handle this situation where she is backing away from him ...of course for his own good...or so she thinks.

Lovely! Firstly, congrats on the new thread! 🥳

And i loved this chapter. Arnav have come to accept that he has feelings for his best friend, Kukku.

I love how amazed he was when he saw her in the saree.

The lunch, the jewellery and finally, the rain.😳

I love the rain too! And it was symbolic when he crossed over and reached her.

3 kisses to seal the deal. It was mind blowing!

I am glad Khushi was able to think even though she might be hazed over the kisses.

She has a marriage proposal and he is royal and has a girlfriend.

The 15 years has taught her to be practical. And the part where she spent her birthdays alone with the same candle. That was so sad. I can't imagine how lonely she must be.

Cliffhanger? Is she really gonna end their friendship here? 🥺

OH thats gonna be long. I am going to miss this story and you!
