Very nice. But again (and this is the third story I have read from your works, but always) Arnav gets off too easy! Yeah sure, unconditional love yada yada, and yeah, the most powerful emotion God gave us is love. But God also gave us intellect. And to disrespect that intellect is to disrespect God. We were given self respect and dignity that sets us apart from animals. (I mention God because it seemed to me that Kushi's decision was based on what the pundit said to her.)

I understand Kushi loved Arnav and wanted to forgive him and be with him because she cannot live without him. I understand Arnav felt guilty for what he had done. And I guess you were trying to show that love conquers all, and I agree with you, but I still think Arnav got away too easy! All he was feeling was for himself, not Kushi. All his guilt, all his unease was for himself, not Kushi.

That was absolutely awesome. The points of view of both arnav and khushi are so realistic. We all love to find excuses for arnav"s bad behaviour, don"t we? The beginning of the writing when you write about khushi dressing like an waitress, where arnav makes her serve water to a customer was so poignant, it literally brought tears to my eyes. Thank you for such a beautiful piece of writing. Waiting for more.
