And about what you experienced...again, all I can say is that I hope that you find a companion who understands that a girl child is a boon and shares this in common with you and gives you all the love and dreams that you missed out on!

Keep smiling, sweetheart, and be glad that you have a mother who understands you even if no one else does.

Well , it was your story that prompted me to share this with you. After all these years , I have made peace with my life and I am very happy with the way I am living with my mom and sister and now it doesn't bother me much what th world or for that matter my family thinks about me. The good thing here is I am getting all the opportunities and education that a girl could wish for and I am happy with this coz many girls don't even get that chance. Plus , I am not the only girl to face this. Most of my friends have faced the same or even worse so I guess it's ok now.
I am glad your perspective about the story changed with my comnent.

And about the life partner, I also wish the same becoz believe me when I tell this that till now what I have seen has been terrible in the name of marriage and I guess this works like this only here. Be it my mother , grandmother or aunts. Well... for this only men are not to be blamed because women are no less. Sometimes I feel what they show in these serials is so far from real life and whether they can ever show the true middle class Indian family.

That was an emotional one
It was a different take because we usually only read about ArHI alone
Here you had portrayed how they will be in old and their son's life
Nice os

I am finding it really difficult to express my feelings after reading your OS. Suffice to say I can't stop crying.
As you said you read about tragedies involving children far too frequently, but we don't pay any heed to the agony caused to their families - the self recrimination they go through for not having been able to safeguard a vulnerable innocent child dependant on them.

oh..i cried reading this..
And then read the note as to why you decided to write..
its heartbreaking.. for the first 2 mins I was thinking what happened and everything possible.. I guess am not aware of the characters but as the OS moved on, I got the idea..
its just heartbreaking, imagining the characters and their emotions..

That was touching!
It happens in many lives and ythose untouched by such events are just lucky to be spared off heartache that stays in a corner of their heart... Hamesha...

Beautiful. Beautiful. Beautiful.
You have rendered me speechless with this story, and I have goosebumps all over me. It had a sincere touch to it, so emotional. You could so easily empathize with story and it pained my heart.

Wonderful.

I really don't have any more words to describe how and what I felt reading this piece. The angst. The pain. The warmth. The love. The- everything. Amazing. Seriously.
