Chapter 10
Shilpa got up from the floor and wiped her tears...no one had ever spoken so rudely to her...she was so confused what had she done to deserve the hurtful words of Sidhaant...why was he so angry...what he had said replayed in her head...and made her angry...he had no right to judge her character...what ever happened was because of circumstance...he couldn't say whatever he had said...a part of her wanted to march right back into his room and get into a screaming match...but then another part of her shuddered as her body remembered his hand...she felt so humiliated...she couldn't come in front of Nivi...what if he told Nivi what happened...would she judge her too...no she couldn't take the risk so she took her phone and called for a cab...and left a note.
As she sat in the cab...she looked back up at the house...her eyes moved towards his room...and then with her last batch of tears...she had promised herself she would not cry for him...she left knowing she would never meet him again...and she would make sure of that.
Nivi came down the stairs...she wanted to comfort Shilpa and ask her what her son had done...she knew something really serious must of happened because Shilpa seemed like a strong independent woman...being one herself she knew so much emotion was hard to come by in such women. As she went to the guestroom the room was empty...she searched in the kitchen, the living room, and the dining area...Shilpa was no where to be found...she called the house help to enquire about Shilpa's whereabouts.
Mandy...where is the young woman who was here last night?
She left in a cab 10 minutes ago Madam...and she asked me to give you this
I'm sorry Nivi... I thought we were becoming good friends and that we have a lot more conversations like yesterday...when we spoke...you reminded me of my nana...she was my best friend...and also like a second mom...we used to speak on the phone everyday...until she passed away 2 years ago...and when I met you I thought...my nana was back...but I guess its just destiny... we were only meant to meet for one night...where we spoke out our hearts to each other...it was as if met to lessen each others emotional baggage...I'm going to miss you Nivi, even though we just met...please don't blame yourself...but I will make sure I never meet a Modi again...Sorry Again...and thank you.
Shilpa
There were tears in Nivi's eyes what had her son done to Shilpa. She would never forgive him. Because of him she had lost a friend, someone she was coming close to calling her daughter...because of his one mistake she would never meet Shilpa again...who would she share her feeling with now...and she left to her room...as she mourned the loss of a budding friendship courtesy her son.
Siddhant knew he couldn't defend his actions...but he still wanted to apologize to his mother...he couldn't believe how blind he had been to her pain...as he walked down the stairs towards his mom's room he wished he could take back whatever he had said...but that was the problem once you said something you could never take it back...it was set in stone...he cringed as he remembered his actions.
He walked inside and saw his mom...she sat there staring at the wall in front of her. He went in front of her and sat at her feet and put his head on her lap...he remembered as a child whenever he made a mistake he would come to her put his head in her lap and say sorry...even when she was at her worst with him...she would slowly pat his head and forgive him. He thought the same would happen...he was extremely apologetic for he had done to Shilpa...and he wanted to say sorry to her too...but he needed to first apologize for the way he had been treating his mother for the past 1.5 month...he was oblivious to her pain...and now he needed for her to understand that he finally understood. But the hand never came...the hand that always soothed away the pain...always made him feel warm inside...the hand that was a sign of forgiveness...never came...instead two hands slowly came and removed his head from his mothers lap...she looked at him and said...Sid I'm sorry...but I can't forgive you...now please I would like to be alone for a while...I will send Lisa to call you for dinner later. Her tone was no longer motherly but very cold...she was only talking to him in the sake of duty and he understood very well then that he was an ass...not only to his mother but also to Shilpa and he had to first find her and get her forgiveness and only then would the most important women in his life would forgive him...he realized then that he had put Riddhima on a pedestal and moved his mother down onto the ground...he forgot that there can be many Riddhimas but only one mother...and now he would rectify his mistakes once in for all.
Wow...I can't believe that I have written 10 chapters..this is probably the longest story I have written so far...and its not even 1/3 complete...as I have a lot more plans for Sid and Shilpa...hopefully this can turn into a really long full fledged story...I hope y'all are likely it so far...and not only is this the 10th chapter but I have surpassed 10,000 words too! truly this is turning into a long tale...lol...on a serious note I would like thank everyone for their comments and the fact that you've taken the time to read my fic...I know I sometimes go into to too much detail...this chapter ends my first week on IF and I'm so glad to have discovered this world...sometimes I do get frustrated when I read other stories and see hundred s of comments and I do feel that perhaps my story deserves the same..and then I hit myself on the back of my own head..for being so freakin' selfish and cocky...but really guys I appreciate how ever many views and comments I do get..so really Thank You!
Cheers,
KaransWorld
Oh and for the first time a short promo and what will happen in the next 2 chapters that I will post on bulk on Friday..why Friday...because I actually have a midterm coming up in Uni...and as much as I love writing I really can't afford to flunk..
He hugged Shilpa...he was so worried...why was she doing this to herself what did she want to prove to him...he knew he made a mistake and he had tried apologizing so many times...and all she had done has ignored him...he knew it would take a lot to repair what he had broken...but she should've at least have given him a chance to explain.
She pushed him away...why was he doing this to her...why did he have this affect on her...she wanted to forget him...why was he suddenly so friendly...where was all this care when he had insulted her...she pushed him away and ran through the long corridor of the hospital.
