"She was right…as she walked closer she could she a silhouette of a man sitting on the bench with his head in his hands…she walked toward him and sat next to him…she didn't say anything…giving him all the space he needed…slowly after sometime he uncovered his face and put his head on her lap…he looked up at her and asked almost innocently…why do people have to die? She looked at him with lots of love and acceptance and smiled a little while stroking his hair …because God loves his children and sometimes when he really misses them he calls them back. Slowly he got up and sat facing Shilpa…there was sadness in his eyes…there was 60% rate of success…I should've been able to save him…he was just 28…he had just gotten married was planning to start a family…when…he paused for a bit…trying to control his emotions…when I told his mother she broke down in my arms…I should've been able to save him Shilpa…she looked at him in the eyes and said in a very serious tone that meant business…Siddhant you're a doctor. You're job is to do everything you can with the knowledge you have to save a life. That is you're duty to try to do everything in you're capacity. The key word being try…if you could save everyone people would stop going to worship God and will come to worship you. She then softened her tone…Look Sid I'm not going to tell you to be completely objective because no one can write off someone dying on their operation table…but Sid you can't blame yourself sometimes things don't work out…you're just a doctor…now give me a hug and one of those Sid smiles…he took a breath and gave her a rib-crushing hug and then a small smile…he was feeling better but she wasn't morphine…she could lessen the pain not kill it."

i just love this whole convo its is very emotional

Chapter 16 - Part 1

Shilpa was bored...the boutique was quite empty and she couldn't handle the monotony so she decided to go meet Sid...she knew he would probably be busy but at least she could see him and in his office she had lots to do...play on his laptop...sit in his chair and pretend to be all serious...scare his interns...and if she didn't have anything more to do at least she could read the book that she had left in his office a couple of days ago...so she took her iPod, her phone and key and began walking towards the road. She was listening music so she couldn't hear the horns and the screams...when she finally turned around it was too late the truck was too close for her to move out of the way...and all she could see then was darkness.

Sid was quite busy during the day...he didn't even have time to eat even a snack...today he was busy supervising the interns as well as handling a new case. He hadn't noticed when the ambulance technicians had brought in a patient who was critical...there was heavy bleeding...he didn't know that a 25 year old Indian female was brought in at approximately 2:15 and now was battling for her life...he didn't know anything...and at that moment he was living a normal life almost close to the life he was living before he had been to India..if someone were to ask him...he would probably say he was happy...but then it all came crashing down.

Sid was in the general ward with his interns when he heard an announcement asking him to go to the operation theatre for an emergency case...as he quickly made his way to the OT a doctor briefed him about the patient and the current situation..and rushed to get scrubbed and ready to operate. As he reached the operating table he was about to instruct one of his nurses something when all of sudden he saw his patient...he couldn't believe it...no this was not happening...it couldn't be...he continued to try and convince him that what his eyes were seeing was a lie...Shilpa was lying on the table..she was unconscious...and her face was covered in blood...her beautiful light brown eyes were closed, her red lips were turning pale as time began to slowly run out on her...her beautiful locks of hair were matted in blood...Sid was in complete shock and stood starring...all the color from his face vanished and his face became stoic...the other general surgeon was shouting his name...but he couldn't hear anything except for his heartbeats...it was like he had began to die...all that came in front of his eyes was darkness it was as if he was lost...he could see Shilpa at a distance beckoning him and as he followed her in the dark...she was hi light..as he chased after her...she kept turning and smiling and then suddenly she vanished the smile was gone and so was the light...and then it finally it him that he could save her...no he had to save her...he couldn't let her go...and then he got to work...he barked out orders to the other doctors and nurses...nothing but Shilpa mattered. The bleeding was increasing and they had to shut it off...there was a lot of damage but they continued the operation...Suddenly Shilpa's heartbeats began to spike...her heart began to fail...there were tears in Sid's eyes he continued his efforts...he wouldn't let her die...and then her heart stopped.

Shilpa didn't know where she was anymore..last thing she remembered was a truck speeding towards her...was she dead...was this heaven...but it couldn't be it looked like her old home and her aunty was sitting on the rocking chair...it was like she was relieving a memory..as she came closer she saw her aunty...her second mom...who had passed away a year ago...she looked exactly the same...and she was smiling at her...her aunty gestured for Shilpa to come closer...
Shilpa beta...if you're here then that means that...and she didn't continue there was a sad smile on her face...Shilpa looked at her a little confused...and then when it finally hit her she became hysterical...No this can't be true..I can't...no no NO...I can't be dead Aunty...It can't be my time yet I have to see so much more...I need to experience so many things...and don't I get my good byes...don't I get to tell everyone how much I love them...no this can't be happening I have go...this can't be it...and then she went towards the door and tried to get out but the door wouldn't open...when she looked outside the windows she couldn't see anything outside...aunty she looked at desperately...please help me find my way out.

Her aunty looked at her and have another solemn look...Shilpa beta..first come sit next to me and tell me how you are...are you still fighting with your parents...she said slightly smiling and what about the boutique you had been planning to open...Shilpa gave a small smile even though she was going through a major internal crisis she almost felt happy at least she could meet her aunty..whom she had missed so much..

Yes of course I'm still fighting but aunty you know your Shilpi I can't change and I did finally open the boutique...business is actually pretty good...and I made new friend too and with him I found another you..his mother Nivi is just like you...sweet and caring...and Sid is not half bad...thinking about Sid she frowned...if she was dead then she wouldn't see Sid again...she remembered how he smiled at her...how he looked when he was trying to get mad at her but then he would fuss and finally smile when she began to tickle him...if she was dead she wouldn't be able to feel his rib crushing hugs or comfort him when he was sad...there were tears in her eyes now and she almost whispered Aunty is there no way to go back...her aunty looked at her and said sweetheart only conviction can take you back..only the conviction of you and your loved ones can bring you back...Shilpa began to hear a soft voice at first she couldn't tell who it was that was calling for her but then the voice got louder it was Sid...he was calling her..she got up and followed his voice the doors began to open...Shilpa turned around one last time her aunty was smiling at her and blowing her a kiss...she caught the kiss and turned around when she turned around again her aunty was gone and so was the home...she was going back.

at first thank you so much for the update,
i dont know how should i feel,
i mean here shilpa had meet with an accident and is fighting with death, but i dont know why but i have a feeling this will make both realize how much they meant for each other,
maybe they will realize the love,...
or maybe im
like it when she told her aunty about sid, nivi,

and now im waiting for part 2, i hope you make us a suprise and update it today😳

Chapter 16 - Part 2

Sid was not going to give up...Shilpa couldn't leave him...he just wouldn't let her and when her heart stopped...he didn't stop trying he continued...they had to bring in the defibrillator and try to restart Shilpa's heart...1 2 3 clear...a shock ran through Shilpa's body and her body raised up a little...but there wasn't any response...Sid signaled the technician to try again...1 2 3 clear...once more they tried to shock her heart into beating again but there was no response...the technician moved back a little and said...doc another shock is going to fry her heart we have to stop...the other doctors agreed and it was too late...but Sid couldn't accept that Shilpa was not coming back...he began to shake her...screaming her name...and slowly as realization hit he fell to the ground next to the operation table...he couldn't compose himself and began sobbing...all to other doctors were in shock...not only at the fact that Dr. Modi was showing so much emotion but also at the fact that the patient that was dead in front of them was somehow connected to him...the doctors slowly helped Sid to his feet but he wouldn't leave..he refused...he told them he was waiting for Shilpa to wake up...they slowly pulled his hand away from hers and tried to move him away and as if on cue with the lack of contact between the her and Sid..Shilpa began responding...her heart began beating again...she was fighting to live...and that's when Sid and the other doctors once again began helping her win the war against death..after a hour...Shilpa's condition was stable and she was moved out of the OT to the ICU for observation...as Sid came outside of the OT...Dr. Malhotra came rushing toward him and looked at him pleadingly...before he could say anything Sid put a hand on his shoulder and said..Sir Shilpa is stable we've got to keep her under observation for a couple of days and do some tests to ensure everything is ok..but other than that she is out of danger...Dr. Malhotra looked at him and wiped away the tears on his face and gave a small smile...Sid acknowledged the smile and walked toward his office...he went inside and collapsed on the sofa...he was mentally and physically was exhausted...after regaining some strength he sat down with his eyes closed...he couldn't believe he had almost lost her...it would've been too much...he didn't know what it was but just the thought of losing her pained his heart...she was a part of everything he did now...he needed her for everything...he couldn't imagine life without her...he sighed and decided to go to

Shilpa's room and check on her...even though they had given her pain injections that put her in a state of unconsciousness to relieve the extensive pain she had suffered through the accident...they had decided to put her in a medically induced sleep that would last for a day or two to help her heal. Sid decided to go sit with her more for himself then for her because he needed to be comforted by her presence right now...even though the initial shock had subdued he was still slightly spooked at the thought of almost losing her.

2 days later...

Sid hadn't moved from Shilpa's room, they had moved her to a private room...and he hadn't left her side. He had taken permission for a holiday till Shilpa was okay...he hadn't even gone home in the past 2 days...it wasn't like she wouldn't be taken care without him there but there was a lingering fear at the back of his head that something might happen to her...and so he stayed...he spoke to her and brought her favorite chocolates in preparation for when she would wake up...the only time he left the room was when he had to go take a leak...otherwise it was impossible to get him to leave. She definitely looked better...when he had seen her in the OT she looked terrible...but now with the medication, bandages, and the nurses cleaning her up she looked better...Nivi had come running when she found out that Shilpa had been in an accident...Sid had to console Nivi when she saw Shilpa...Nivi loved Shilpa and to she her like this broke her heart...she had clutched onto her son's shirt and sobbed...after much convincing by Sid and Shilpa's dad that Shilpa would be ok...she had calmed down...and decided that her sweetheart would get a fabulous welcome...she went out and bought all of Shilpa's favorite things...and packed some of her clothes for her to bring to the hospital...she never stopped Sid from staying with Shilpa...she brought some of his things as well so that he would be slightly comfortable...the hospital had put an extra bed inside the private room so that Sid could sleep...but he never actually did...in the past 2 days all he did was sit next to Shilpa holding her hand and caressing her face...sometimes due to exhaustion his body did give into sleep and that what happened when Shilpa finally woke up...

Shilpa opened her eyes...she felt so tired and groggy...her head was hurting and her mouth was dry...when she looked around all were flowers and balloons...she was a little disoriented but when she saw Sid sleeping in a sitting position with his head and hands on her bed everything came back to her...the accident...her aunty...and without thinking she said out loud...SID...and that's when Sid woke up...the first thing he saw were her light brown eyes...2 beautiful orbes staring into his soul...he had missed her looking at him so intently...he too looked at her thinking that this was a dream and then she repeated again but now in a slight whisper...Sid...and the spell was broken this wasn't a dream but reality...he couldn't believe that his Shilpa was awake now...he took his hand and cupped her face kissing her forehead as tears fell from his eyes...she was mesmerized so much so that she couldn't speak...he hugged her tightly...and in his teary voice he said...welcome back!

This is a total experiment on my part...so far I've writing fics with characters existing within television shows..so this is a first..the characters are all mine...including Salman Khan's because obviously the personality I give him and whatever he says and does in this fic is may not actually be what he does in real life...I am his total die-hard fan so I thought I would write a story with him in it..I've never met him nor I know him personally so whatever happens within the fic is obviously fiction...I will however use events that have actually happen and use them within the fic. Anyways please comment on what you think...good/bad response is welcomed..I will continue this fic regardless because I'm really excited!
