Broken promise to self... But then I guess this was another reason for her guilt feeling as this decision brought about the series of changes in all of their lives... Brokenness that she feels within with all the loss.

I really love these three friends... Reminds me of my best friends & myself.( Though not alike but almost similar...) 😉

Each of their characteristics, nature & needs & dreams in life are all so different yet they have their friendship in common... 👏 I liked how you described their characteristics even innately by describing them even in their sleep patterns...

Naina is too good. She wishes for reincarnation of Elvis that too on a white horse... 🤣 . Also the way she promptly comes out with the double meanings of everything uttered ... too good. My friend is very much like her in this matter... so we call her 'Antenna'

I loved Geet's protective trait... however silent she is or even typeset as introvert yet she has these positive characteristics that make her all the more appealing...

Waiting for more... 😃

I really like how you have created this trio of friends. They are so individual and different in looks, expressions and thoughts. Your writing even made me visualize the sleeping duo..😆

Geet's thoughts indicate the purity of heart she has. There is so much care not to put her friends in harms way. She did not once think if she might be in danger.

Loved the way Naina knows which buttons to push on Tweesha. That too is such a friend trait where we know the reaction before we say something.

She is going to play angry birds while Sameer plays? I think not...

Looking forward to more soon.

Ok,after reading the chapter 6,I was like,how come geet knew about sameer??? and I ran to chapter 5 once again and realized that I had not read that chapter till end..May be because of power cut or something...

So,sameer was the rescuer,,😊Really sweet..I bet,if it was naina's birthday,he would have hid himself in storeroom with geet and tweety...😆

I think,It would be geet who would bring sameer and Naina face to face in basketball match..

somewhere,I am fearing,would it be a love triangle..???The way geet reacted to sameer's gestures and concern in the bus and taxi...

I hope my fear would be baseless,otherwise this web is going to be tangled more and more...

I won't mind if i am repeating myself for umpteenth time ,but you write "AWESOME",bratty...👏

How do you do it, Shika? How do you create such vivid images just with your words? Hats off! 👏

I, for one, never really thought about it but the sleeping duo and the picture they presented, actually made me realise that every single habit of a person says something about them. While Tweesha's unladylike ways are represented by the way she sleeps, Naina's dreamer heart is what keeps her smiling even when she is lost in the depths of slumber..

And Geet. Even though I'm against generalising or typecasting, I'm still using the word 'introvert' for her. She is one of those people who have a beautiful heart and who'll think of others before they think of themselves. She is the kind of friend who're a blessing and who need to be cherished and held onto forever.

The three of them are so different from each other yet their friendship is enviable without an ounce of doubt. It just goes to prove that when we make friends, we don't put the criteria of them having the same traits as us.

As for that broken promise, I believe that if something doesn't go the way you wanted it to, God definitely has something planned for you which will eventually be for the better. A broken promise will only make way for new and stronger promises to be made...

Pat 4 - so the person who wrote diary is sameer, a beautiful name and is my hubby's name also...(winking)...lol...loved naina here...a total bubbly girl, even meghna is also sweet...loved their convo...it was cute that naina trying to fulfill her wish and touching her ankles to her bump

want to know more about their love story...kahi aisa na ho ke shuru hone se pehle hi khatam ho jaaye
