I'm going to leave short comments for the chapters I catch up with, if I leave any at all, to tell what I liked about them.

So I read the prologue and the first chapter.
The first meeting of the captain and the angel was a cliched one but it still held that magic with him being besotted by her from the first sight. And her finding nothing quite interesting in him to give him two hoots! 😆

I really liked the first chapter and the way the captain dealt with his team, the way he lifted their spirits. True, one shouldn't give up even before trying. If one gives up trying, that is when a battle is lost, not when success isn't achieved!

Hopping to read more! 😃

The second chapter almost took my breath away with the way you've described the dances. I'm no dancer and I don't plan to become one but the way you weaves your words around the two different dance forms, I could feel the magic reaching out to me. Hats off Shika! 👏

Dang! These three friends are fun together! It hurts to know that they've grown so far apart in the prevailing present. From the discussion to the drooling to the running, one friend so dreamy, one friend so outspoken and one so drawn into her shell, all of it so beautifully portrayed the young hearts who spend the days just for the sake of passing time instead of fretting over the big worries of life. I loved the simple si saadi si Geet, the patakha Tweesha who forces Geet to look at a guy and the ever so dreamily hopeful Naina. Geet forgetting her specs was an epic moment for me! Biting my tongue saved me from the embarrassment of having people believe I'm a lunatic for laughing at something on the screen! 😆

The contemporary dancer was Geet, right?
