Pawan Singh’s wife Jyoti Singh breaks down outside his Lucknow home, claims police called by actor

Bhojpuri actor Pawan Singh’s ongoing marital dispute with wife Jyoti Singh took another emotional turn on Sunday. Jyoti reached his Lucknow home hoping to meet him, but minutes later, police also arrived, asking her to come with them to the station.

A video from the spot shows Jyoti crying uncontrollably, pleading with folded hands. “Namaskar, I am Jyoti Singh and I’ve come to Pawan Singh’s house in Lucknow. Pawan ji has filed an FIR against me, and police officers have come to take me,” she says tearfully.

Refusing to go with the police, Jyoti asks, “You all told me to come here. Now tell me, how will I get justice? You are the public — you decide.” She then turns to the police and asks, “In which case have you come to take me?”

In the clip, an officer can be seen explaining the situation to her, while another woman accompanying Jyoti hands her a phone. On the call was her lawyer, speaking to her as she broke down again. “I came to my husband’s house, and for that, there is an FIR against me,” Jyoti says between tears.

For context, Jyoti and Pawan Singh’s marriage has been under strain for years, and their divorce case is currently in court. Jyoti has been posting emotional messages about her husband on social media, appealing for reconciliation.

Just a few days ago, she had written an open note addressed to Pawan, saying she would travel to Lucknow to meet him and his family. “Dear husband, Pawan Singh ji, I’m coming to Lucknow tomorrow to meet you. I have complete faith you’ll meet me,” she wrote. She also said she would wait two days if he was away.

However, when she reached, things unfolded differently. As the police arrived, Jyoti’s emotional state deteriorated. In a past post, she had written, “Kaun bhail hamra se galti, let naike sudhiya hamar,” expressing her pain over the broken relationship.

Pawan Singh married Jyoti in 2018 after his first wife Neelam Singh’s death in 2015. Their relationship has remained turbulent since.
