Abhishek Bajaj calls ex-wife Akanksha Jindal a ‘fame digger’ after infidelity allegations surface

Actor Abhishek Bajaj, currently inside Bigg Boss 19, has found himself at the centre of controversy after his ex-wife Akanksha Jindal accused him of cheating during their marriage. In response, his team released a note he had written before entering the show, addressing the matter directly.

“I never thought I would have to write something like this, but my team advised me to, for my peace of mind,” Abhishek wrote. “After years of silence and separation, to see a ‘fame digger’ I once loved trying to tarnish my image for a moment of fame is beyond painful.”

In the same note, Abhishek expressed how difficult it had been to move on. “It took immense courage to rise above that dark phase, to heal and rebuild my career with honesty and hard work. To have all that questioned in such a cheap manner is heartbreaking and unfair,” he said.

He also appealed to the media and viewers, saying, “Please don’t give importance to baseless attempts that aim to destroy someone’s dignity. Let’s not encourage negativity disguised as news, especially when I’m not around to respond.”

Abhishek and Akanksha were married in 2017 but separated three years later. In an earlier interview, Akanksha claimed infidelity was the main reason behind their split. “We were in a long-distance marriage, and things just fell apart. I was heartbroken and realised he was cheating. Many people from the industry showed me proofs,” she said.

She added that when she confronted him, Abhishek “played the victim card and blamed” her instead. Later, Akanksha shared an open letter on social media, clarifying that her statements were not for sympathy but to tell her side of the story.

The ongoing public back-and-forth between the former couple has now added drama to the Bigg Boss 19 narrative, already known for its emotional confrontations.
