Part 8B
A few hours later at the police station
"Inspector, I'm telling you for the hundredth time, I did not kidnap those kids."
"Save your energy Mr. Kundra. I have been given orders and I am following them. You can prove your innocence to the courts."
"That won't be necessary" a voice came out of no where, which turns out to be Bittuji.
The lawyers gave the inspector the necessary documents to release R.K. out on bail.
The officer turns to R.K." You can go now, but you would still need to appear at court for the official hearing."
R.K. rolls his eyes, and speeds out of the station, not wanting to stay there any long and wanting to get back to his family as soon as possible, however stops when he hears Bittuji calling him.
"Chief, Bhabi and the kids are not at home!"
"WHAT?"
Flash back to the R.K. Mansion earlier
Maan thinks for a while before turning to both families, "I think its best that the kids stay with someone they trust, in this case it is Madhu. If we let the kids go with you Nani, the kids may have a difficult time emotionally, as all this would be too much for them. However, I do believe that the kids should not stay in this house. R.K. is well-known by media, hence the kids may be harassed by the media."
Nani immediately jumps in, "then all three of them can come and live at our place!"
Madhu doesn't seem to agree, "Unfortunately, since there is a court case involved, the kids cannot move into a different city. They must stay within the city."
Nani gives her a smirk, "well, I guess you don't know how rich we are. Our ancestorial home is in this city. The you and the kids are welcomed to stay at our mansion. And Doctor Maan, we would dearly appreciate if you would stay with us as well to keep an eye on the kids."
Madhu thinks about it for a while, "I will agree to stay at the Raizada mansion only up until the court case. I have a strong feeling that we would win the court case and I will leave with the kids immediately, which means I should not have any problems from your side if the court provides a verdict that is positive on my side. That being said, I would not stop you from visiting the kids and spending time with them. You are their family as well, and I want them to grow up knowing who their relatives are. If you agree to the conditions, I will come right away."
Nani agreed right away. All she had to do was take the kids out of the house and she succeeded in that. All she has to do is somehow get Madhu out of the kids lives, and everything will go back to normal.
Nani, Mama and Mami returned home to arrange the house to accommodate the new guests. They decided to leave baby Akash at the R.K. Residence as he was not feeling well, and Doctor Maan said he would take care of the baby. Madhu calls Bittuji who was on his way to take R.K. out on bail about all the changes that has happened and told him to make R.K. call her as soon as he gets out.
Back to Present
R.K. immediately calls Madhu's cellphone, who picks up in two dials,
"Hello R.K. are you ok?"
"Hey Sweetheart, I'm fine. How are you? Bittuji just told me all that has happened. Why the hell did you leave? You know we could of taken care of the media."
"R.K. calm down and listen to me. You and I are used to the media, where as the kids are not. Also, the kids' Nani seemed really despearte and I felt bad."
"But you haven't thought about me have you Madhu? How would I be able to live with you living so far away?"
"Its not just you R.K. Me and the kids dearly miss you but its for the best. The court hearing is in a few days and I'm positive that the sentence would be in our favour. Then we can all be together. It is just a matter of few days. I don't want anything else to be complicated. Please try to understand R.K.. I don't like being away from you, it hurts, but staying away for a few days means that we get to stay together forever with no complications would mean for the good."
"I understand Madhu. But it hurts. Where are you right now?"
"I'm on my way to the Raizada Mansion. The kids are here with me along with their Mama's child as well as Doctor Maan."
Madhu hears something break on the other side, "R.K.?!?!? Are you alright?! What was that noise?"
"Don't worry, It's nothing"
"R.K. tell me right now!"
"I broke a glass" R.K. looks at the broken car window. God how he hate the fact that THAT Doctor is with them. He can't wait for his family to come back to him.
"R.K. please take care of yourself. I know it hurts but its for the better. Please go and get that hand fix by the doctor."
"Yea I will. Don't worry. I miss you."
"I miss you too R.K. I'll pray to God that we overcome this hurdle as quickly..."
R.K. hears some gun shots along side the screams of Madhu.
"Madhu! Madhu?!?"
Beep Beep Beep
R.K. cuts the call and tries to call again but it says the phone is switched off!
Dear God, don't let anything happen to my family.
