A heartless man, with immense pride and arrogance over his superior power, wealth and status and with no belief in Love is slowly falling for a simple village girl. But he denies to acknowledge his slowly budding tender feelings towards her... trying his best to block his overwhelming emotions towards her... for two reasons. At a conscious level, his pride doesnt let him bow his head and succumb to the feelings kindled by a poor village girl, who according to him is much inferior to him all aspects. At a subconscious level, his fear and concern for her... he dont want a beast like him to become physically or emotionally attached to a pure and innocent soul like her for the chance of her getting hurt by him were abundant. His inner conflict... frustration... weak denial and self assurance to get hold of his conflicting emotions... painful, yet charming.

Love unlocks doors and opens windows that weren't even there before.

What to say about this person, who is good enough to reveal about his transformation to his wife but didnt trust her enough to confide about the essential details of his curse. I pity his wife you entrusted him and married him even after knowing about the dormant beast in him. She may not be fully aware of the beastly side of him, may be she never saw his transformations in all these years of their married life. Still, showered him with pure unconditional love and longed for him during his absence in the castle. I wonder how he overlooked such kindness of a beautiful heart!!!??? And now he is in the quest of finding "His love" for getting cured of his curse!!! The nerve of him to ask another girl to be his heart's companion when his heart cannot recognize the love and kindness of a beloved heart staying by his side for all these years... 😡

Gen. Jha is aware that Lord Arnav will recognize him if they come face to face. Still, he had the guts to fly miles into the forest and enter the hut to check khushi in his presence. He took a great risk with Lord Arnav around. I always felt that Gen.Jha operates like a cool, smooth sophisticated criminal who plays his cards very cautiously and convincingly. But off late, we witness him stagger and loose his cool attitude in many situations... things are not going according to his plan... the pawns are not acting and reacting as he expected... situations are going out of his control... i felt a hint of frustration and panic in his voice during his latest encounter with the mysterious midnight apparition. When a smooth operator like him tend to lose his cool mind, he is supposed to commit some serious errors... i guess, his own flaws in his haste to get over with the curse will bring out the real Shyam Jha from behind the mask of the gentle and noble Gen. Jha and pave way for his own downfall.
