SETTING UP

Shyla was getting a little nervous, having to meet MR.A again,

But to her surprise, she felt completely at ease with MR.A,

The whole day was spent setting up the medicines, getting the rooms ready to examine patients etc.

Adrit realized that , even though accident prone, she was quick and learnt fast.

She had a little difficulty with the various names of the medications, but had written them down. Will memorise them later she told him.

He had been apprehensive when Mr. Himant had said Shyla will be helping him. But looked like it was a good decision. He also realized she can talk non-stop.

He watched her walk towards her house for a lunch break. Simple and sweet, unassuming, spoke from her heart , nothing like Dr. Krutika, his close friend, who was all sophisticated, brisk and a no-nonsense type .

Naren will be joining him soon. He needed some company. Hope Kruti also comes along. He smiled at that thought

As Meena was getting Shyla settled,

Raghu came in with Dr. Adrit's request.

Ok, said Meena will let you know whether she is ready to meet him

She waited till Raghu left the room.

Shyla dear, you heard what Raghu said.

If you don't want to go….. she trailed as she felt Shyla grip her hand.

Her eyes said yes.

Adrit had preferred the lovely sit out which faced the green hills.

He did not want her to feel cornered.

A bowl of chocolates lay on the table. [ he was told she loved them]

He waited.

He soon heard the wheels.

He watched as she was brought in.

The mask was still in place. [ she removed only in her room ]

His eyes were again drawn to hers.

Each searched the others.

He got up.

She seemed to go still.

He sat down again.

Doctor, she is…..

He held up his hand stopping Meena in mid sentence.

Is it OK if Meena leaves? He asked looking at Shyla.

The slightest nod indicated an Yes.

Meena looked worried, but left them together.

Her soul seemed to be telling her something.

She felt he knew him, but her eyes did not seem to remember.

He felt so drawn to this stranger.

But...Was she a stranger?

Second update I loved. The sexual tension is already there even with so much of suspense. That is how the heart recognizes. Superb. 👏

Sexual tension means attraction or desire which is inherent between couples who love each other or attracted to each other and want to mate or get together in the future. So when they interact their desires which is there for each other is like tension which is sexual in nature because they feel like becoming one. Samjhe bachu. 😉
