Volume Three: A Journey from down the Memory Lane.

Chapter one :Truth !!

"Pisi..Pisi……..PISI…."

Sagarika was then in her early 20 when she fell in love with Capt. Arnav Raizada. That time he was posted at Fort William as resident surgeon in their Army Hospital. She first met with Arnav in occasion of Mitin's "Annaprashan". He was her elder brother's invitee and when their eyes were meeting they both felt that something connected themselves with each other invisibly . They could not manage to come out from that bond so they had decided to marry each other. Though Arnav expected some hurdles from Sagarika's side everything went so well because of her elder brother. Later Arnav was transferred to his home town Dehradoon as Major . They started living their in Arnav's ancestral home which was actually a big mansion. Arnav's father was a merchant and earned lots of wealth from his business . But after his father's death the whole business was operated by his father's manager as Arnav chose to join Army. But he inherited his father's whole wealth. But the mansion where Sagarika came to live with Arnav was built by Arnav's great grand father. His grand father and his ancestors all were Zamindar of that place and they once held 1/3^rd of Land in Dehradoon. And his Grand father nominated his grand son as his decendent so he inherited the Mansion and some other assets as well. But Arnav never cared about his properties and money which he got as heirlooms. And he didn't care about those enemies , whom he inherited too as after effect of his wealth.

Sagarika was very happy that time. The time she spent with Arnav was her best and cherishable moments in her life. After 3 years of her marriage Sreeja was born to her and Arnav. Arnav distributed sweets in whole city and arranged a grand function for his Angel's(he called Sreeja by that name) "NaamKaran". But It is said that best time and worst time always come together. After one month of Sreeja's "Naamkaran" Sagarika received her SIL's(Mitin's Mom) death news and after 2years of that she got another death news ,this time her mother's. She was broken down after receiving such shocking and cruel information and could not able to attend their funerals. Later she came to know that her elder brother again was going to get married. She didn't believe that rumor as she knew how much did her brother love his deceased wife and her SIL?? But when she received the invitation card of her brother's marriage she decided to break every relation with him. After 6months of her brother's marriage and 1year of her mother's death little Mitin came to live with her and her family. She learnt this from Mitin's one of distant aunty who accompanied her to Dehradoon that her step mother and some of her friends and relative were planned to harm her. Mitin eavesdropped that mistakenly without their knowledge and in that tender age the little child suddenly grew older than everyone. She never spoke a single word to her step mother and her fellows who pretended to be nice to her in front of her and never complained a word about them to her father. She just decided to pack her bags and leave. She didn't know where to go because till then Sagarika was not so familiar to her. She left Kolkata after her marriage and could not come to attend the funerals of her Ma and Grandma. But her aunty who was a good friend of her Ma knew everything about Sagarika and her fondness and caring nature towards Mitin. So she decided to take Mitin to Sagarika because she knew those who planned to harm Mitin, could do anything to Mitin and her in Kolkata. And she was not so capable to prevent them.

After listening everything Sagarika decided to confront her elder brother but Arnav stopped her. He told that instead of confrontation with your elder brother who had no clue about this crap we should look after Mitin. He told that from then she too was the part of his small family. She was wondered by his decision. But Arnav said smilingly(he smiled very seldom) that he considered Mitin as his elder daughter from then when she entered to this mansion. And he knew all about her care, concern, affection and fondness to Mitin. And from then Mitin started living with them. Sreeja bonded with Mitin from the first day and after Arnav's pathetic death only Mitin consoled and controlled Sreeja and helped Sagarika to raise her up very well.

"Pisi…….P..I….S..I." the voice comes nearer to Sagarika and forced her to return in present. She looks at the doorstep and sees Mitin and her very well known temper. She smiles to her and asks her to come in.

Sagarika: Yeh to tera ghar hai na ?Hospital nahi.. ……ab yahan bhi kya apna gussewali sakal leke ghumegi?(she knows something is wrong. She may be wrong to read her own daughter's mind but she understands Mitin and her mind always.)

Mitin: Aap se kuch puchna tha…..(she tries to be sweet though her eyes are fiery and red)

Sagarika: Ruk….meri coffee ban gayi hai……….ah…huh chal( she pours coffee in two coffee mugs and take them in her hand and starts walking to the dinning hall).

Mitin: Pisi aap muje sach sach bataiye aap sab kuch janti thin a?

Sagarika: Kiss bare mein??

Mitin: (After hesitates some moment)Sid….Siddharth ke bare mein?

Sagarika: ( she expects something this from her ) Haan janti thi………par woh to sari duniya ko pata hai ek tujhe chhodkar……( she is laughing now silently).

Mitin is shocked to hear that and becomes dumb .
