Simmone stood there saying nothing. Suddenly, Kripa got up from her chair and walked up to Simmone.
Kripa: "Simmone what wrong?"
There was a minute's silence.
Simmone: "Kripa...you look so beautiful."
Kripa was wearing a deep pink 'lehnga', with blue and gold boundary on it. The work on the wedding dress was worth looking at.
Hearing Simmone, Kripa started laughing and blushed a little.
Kripa: "Simmone, tu bhi na. You scared me."
Simmone started laughing as well. We went and hugged Kripa.
Simmone: "No seriously- you look beautiful."
Kripa: "Awww, thank you sweetie."
Simmone: "I'm going to miss you so much. You better come round."
Kripa: "Well of course I will. And if Angad don't let me, I'll still come."
They both laughed. Suddenly Simmone remembered why she came into the room.
Simmone: "Oh yeah. It's time for you to go down. Mum just told me to call you."
Kripa: "Oh my god. Simmone- my heart is beating so fast."
Simmone: "Yeah it will beat even faster when you see the girls downstairs drooling over Angad."
Kripa: "Really? Aint they got nothing better to do. He's going to be booked in a few minutes anyway."
They both laughed again.
Then Simmone took Kripa downstairs.


Downstairs in Sharma house:
Everyone was waiting for Kripa downstairs. They were so excited to see her. Suddenly, a 'payal' sound rang through everyone's ears. They looked back. It was Kripa in her beautiful wedding dress. Angad also had looked back. He was gob-smacked. As Kripa walked down the stairs, guests couldn't stop praising her.
One guest: "Vah Gayathri. I have to admit- your daughter is the most beautiful bride I've ever seen. God bless her."
Gayathri: "Thank you. That's very kind of you."
Saying this, Gayathri went up to Kripa and kissed her forehead. She then walked her towards Angad, who was sitting next to the priest on the floor. As Kripa sat down, Angad's eyes were still on her. After Kripa was sat comfortably, the priest started his wedding prayers. Simmone went and stood with Prithvi.
Prithvi (whispering in Simmone's ear): "Wow Simmone. Not bad. You look good...for once."
Saying this, Prithvi silently started laughing. Simmone laughed with him and playfully hit him on his shoulder.
Prithvi: "Nah only joking. You always look beautiful. But today-you look like my girl."
Saying this, Prithvi smiled at Simmone. Simmone smiled back at him.
Suddenly, Naina interrupted them.
Naina (whispering to Prithvi and Simmone): "What are you two up to? Be quiet- the 'pandip' is still reading out his prayers. Pay some respect."
Prithvi: "O.k. sorry mum."
When Prithvi said this, Naina went back to her spot. But Prithvi and Simmone continued laughing like naughty little children.


Over to Angad and Kripa:
After saying the main prayers, the priest told the brides (Kripa) mother (Gayathri) to come Angad tie Angad and Kripa's scarves together. After Gayathri had done this, the priest told Kripa and Angad to stand up for the 'saath phere'. They stood up and did so.
Once that was over, the priest told Angad to put 'sindoor' into Kripa 'maang'. As Angad did this, everyone threw flower petals at them. As everyone was still doing this, Angad then put the 'mungalsutra' around Kripa's neck. Doing this, Angad kissed Kripa's cheek. Everyone started laughing, including Angad. Kripa sat there blushing.
