manathi hoon ki mein usse pyaar karthi thi 7 saal ke liye par mujhe 1 saal pehela ehassas ho gaya tha ki mujhe usse pyaar karna ka haq nahi hai is liye meine 1 saal se usse bahut nafrat karne lagi thi aur usme kamyab bhi ho gayi thi par 3 mahino pehela meri zindagi mein aise mod aaya ki aaj mein 18 saal ki honi wali hoon aur aaj hi meri usse shaadi hai..

di samajth hai ki mere 8 saalo ke pyaar ne is shaadi ko haan karvaya hai par sirf naina jaanthi hai ki mein usse hafrat karne lagi thi

par ab mujhe yeh shaadhi karni padegi sab ke khatir, jinho ne mujhese umeed ki hai unke khatir...

down for the marrige rituals...

⭐️PART ONE

while going to the stage geet was rewinding her life

the flash back starts when geet was 4 years old...

her father MOHINDER HANDA and his brother RANJITH LAL HANDA was the partner cum owners of the their khandani shop named HANDA STORES in chennai..

their shop had a very big name...

geet school jaathi thi aur woh higher kg mein thi aur jab bhi uske schoolmein chutti thi woh Ranjith ke sang HS.. jaathi thi.

woh geet ko apni matlab ke liye istmaal kartha tha...

tab geet 4 saal ki thi tho use kuch pata nahi hota tha...

unke HS.. ke upar unka goudomn tha tho jab bhi woh wahan jata tha to...

R:geet chal thuhe chocolate detha hoon

(woh usse goudoun le jatatha aur phir ander se bandh kar leta tha)

geet came back from her flash back when samera called her..

she asked geet was there any problem..

G: nahi di, koi problem nahi hai...

geet's sister agreed geet always becomes angry wher ever she thinks of that bas**** ravi😡

❤️PART 2:

Geet was standing alone as all her cousins were doing some or the other work and naina was talking with RANO HANDA:MOM OF GEET...

Geet was thankful to naina as a friend she supported her with full faith in her decision.as she shares all the things going in her mind except the one

again she remembers the part of life where she was 4 years...

and after 5minutes he wore his pants and gave me chocolate and took the things which he came to take and went away.

this happened almost every time he would go upstairs not only that he would not leave me even if we were alone

after some times i stopped talking to him and going upstairs along with him and i alwaysthought of reason for not being alone with him i was successful then after a year yash my brother was born then i also i was ignoring him

though i didnt know what he did and y.i always tried to ignore him

naina can and took me to have breakfast as after that i had haldi ...

PART 3:

during braekfast all were teasing geet except naina as she knew the truth why i agreed..

R:arre yaar aaj last ek baar humare saat kha lena phir kal se to tujhe apne unke saath khana padrga!!!(and R and S gave a hi fiv..)

i quitely sat and was eating but my sisters were teasing me but i went to flashback when i was in 3th std(8 years)

------------flashback--------------

during every annual holidays i my mom and yash we used to go to hoshiyapur for vacation...

that year as yash was only 3 years my grandpa came to pick us...

in hoshiyapur we had most of the relations..

i used to stay with my grandparents (nanaji And naniji)..

they stared alone

but all my mamas(mom's brothers)

were just next to our house..

i had 2 mamas

(this is at that time)

Elder one-(i will mention as m1)..

wife-(mw1)

he had a daughter(nandhini)..

and a son(adithya)

second mama(m2)was having marrige

wife(mw2)

at that time i didnt know to ride cycle so my mother used to send me to her massi's house(name)-SAVITHRI DEVI..

who had had 2 sons and a daughter (the order is:)

DEV SINGH KHURANA

then annie singh khurana and the third is

MAAN SING KHURANA...

as msk would teach me riding cycle

for that purpose heused to put extra wheels to his cycle..

(ya readers you guessed it right that msk was geet's mamaji)

at that time geet used to spend most of her time in km..

msk was 2 yrs elder to me.

i always used to call maan as bhaiya and annie as didi..

mom always used to scold me and say to call as mama and maasi...

then slowly i started calling him mamaji..

he would teach me to ride cycle but i was very scared to learn at last i never learnt to ride it

S:arre wah unke khayalo mein khoi hui hai. hai mein mar jaava

i started to blush(fake).i was thinking of him but which happened before 10 years i never knew that whom i used to call him bhaiya and mamaji will 1 day become the person whose name i cannot take..

ok readers there is a small change in the story as i wanted to start it from the part after 2 months when geet agerrd to the marrige... and in this all the families are middle class and there may or may not be changes ... and all these flashback were coming in the mind of geet on the same day at random placeses..

PART 4:

Date:18 april 2011..

it was dinner time and geet was in chennai...

they were to leave for hoshiyarpur after 5 more days..

and in my friends only naina knew about my marrige and she with me for most of the time...

we were studing together in the same college and the same school ..

we were childhood friends and we were more like sisters...

during dinner my mom,badi maa and bade papa we there with my brother brij and nisha bhabi were sitting and doing the last minute preparations..

me and naina were in my room and we were chatting...

G:pata nahi yaar yeh log kyun itna jhanjat kar rahe hain.

N:haan main bhi yahi sooch rahi hoon..

G:tujhe pata hai na ki shaadi ki shopping abhi aur karni hai phir delhi mein bhi karni hai.min khud hi aapne dress design kar sakthi hoon ya tu tho kar hi sakthi hai, nahi?bata ghar par hi do designer rakh kar delhi ke designer se design kar wa na hain..

G:aacha naina mujhe samajh mein nahi aa raha hai jab shaadi ke 15 din baad mein waapas aa rahi hoon tho itha sab laadke lee jaane ke kya jaararuth hai..

mein delhi so shopping kar keunhe wahi chood kar aajungi waise bhi waha south indian thodi na chalte hain..

N:geet mujhe pata hai ki tu aa jayegi par aunty ji ko aapa sapne poora kar ne de...

G:tu thik khe rahi hai..aacha time kya hua hai???

N:9:00 baj gaye

G:sun tu room bahdh kar kar yahi reh uska call aathe hi hoga..

Geet's cell rings.she sees the name-MAAN

G:very punctual...

N:aacha meri maa call uttha..

Geet reives the call and puts it in loudspeaker because when ever his call comes is attends when naina is there and puts it in loud speaker...

M:hai..

G:hello..

M:kya kar rahi thi.

naina was smirking and i knew why...

G:nothing just packing...

M:for want????

G:what?????i wanted to kill him making my life hell he was asking why i was packing

naina was smiling..when she saw i was angry she put a straight face..

M:ok sorry wrong question...

G:haan 1 mahine ki hi tho kar ne haain jaise har saal karthi hoon wasie he karni hai na haan bas thore bhaari kapde rakhne hain..

i was smirking...

M:arre geet mujhe pata hai ki tu shaadi ke 15 dino ke baad chali jayegi par baar baar bol kar mujhe dukhi tho mat kar na...

G:mein sach bolthi hoon agar dukh hota hai tho usme main kuch

nahi kar sakthi..

M:aacha chod bata lehenga ka colour kya hai?

It was 9:15 and i offed the loudspeaker and naina acted as if she called me and siaid him to hang..

i was everyday routine for 2 months he would call me at 9 and i would talk for 15 minutes and would tell him to hang with oe or the other reason...

PART 5:

the next 4 days went with shopping..

they had no college as it was semester holidays...

naina was always with geet and she even agreed to go for her marrige because she knew that geet wanted someone who would support he...

it was 22 april...

and all were having breakfast..

naina came with her luggage with her mom...

the luggage was added to our luggage...

she was coming alone but her mom had full faith on our familybecause most of the time naina was with me...

we had flight tomorrow and the last minute packing i was little nervous...

that day i spent with my friends as after coming i would be a married.

though i didnt say them,,i was enjoying the day out..

then it was turning evening and everyone was in a hurry because the next day we were leaving morning and most of our packing was complete and they were doublechecking all the things...

then my cycle was repeating as it was 9.

then at 10 meri bhabi ne mujhe karan(his son) ko sulane ko kaha kyunki wo 1 1/2 saal ka tha phir wo thak jaatha aur mujhe bhi karan se bohut lagav hai isliye mein use sulane le gai..

naina sab ki madat kar rahi thi...

us raat ko tho mein bhi bohut nervous thi meri yaad 7 saal pehela chali gayi..

use saal bhi mein aapni nani ke yahan gayi thi...

ek din hu sab khel rahe the

mein,maan,varsha aur mahesh(we were all almost of same age group)

sab log ander baatein kar rehe the ..

hum bahar khel rahe the..

mujhe sab ko pakadna tha..maine varsha aur mahesh ko tho paked liye par maan baaki tha mein usse pakad ne ja rahi th par woh kamare mein ja kar bandh ho gaya.

2 second baad khola mein gayi tho phir ussne wapas bandh kar liye..

mujhe daar lagraha tha kyunki current nahi thi baar baar usne aisa kiya..

ussi samay mujhe kaga mujhe kuch ho raha tha

aab mujhe pata chala ki woh pyaar hain...

PART 6:

raat ho gayi thi...

mein puri raat nahi soyi

kyunki agle din tha 23 april jis din ko mujhe ek saachai ka ehaas hua ki mein ek jhali,pagal hoon jisne aapne zindagi ke 8 saal barbaad kar diya ek saapnon ki dhuniya mein reh kar

mein apni zindagi ke panno ko palet rahi thi...

usse raat ko mein usse naraz ho kar candle ke saamne ja kar baithe...

mujhe ajeeb mehoos ho raha tha..mein candle ko gor se dhekthi jaa rahi thi mujhe usme uska chera dekhai de raha tha mujhe ajeeb laga pur maine kise ko bhi nahi bataya...

phir use baar jab mein wapas jaa ne ke baad mujhe ajeeb sa mehsoos hona laga...mujhe har samay uski yaad aane lagi ...

usse saal hoshiyarpur mein krishnajayanthi ka utsav manaya gaya...

maa aur yash-mera chota bhai wahan gay the..

mein nahi gayi...

jab maa wapas aayi tho maine jab uski photos deekhi tho mujhe aacha lagne laga phir mujhe jab bhi uski yaad aane lagithi thi tho mein maa se chupke uski photo dekhne lagi ...

woh hi meri aadath ban gayi...

phir agle saal wapas mein gayi tab usse saal wahan par shiv ji ki bohut badi pooja thi...

hum saab wahan the...

maan ka parivar bhi tha ...hum sab bhagwan pooja kam aur khel zyada rahe the...

maine do minute ke liye shiv ki moorthi ko dhayan se dekha mujhe usse mein bhi maan dikh rahi tha...

phir mujhe shaq ho gaya ki mera saath kuch gadbad hai...

usse saal bhi main use baare mein jyada nahi sooch rahi thi...

mera phone mein 4:00 baje ka alarm baja...

mein apne ghar ke mandir mein gayi aur kehene lagi...

G:baabaji iss samay poora ek saal ho gaya hai jab maine yeh waada kiya tha ki mein apne maan mein se usse attraction ko nikal dungi jise mein pyaar ka naam de kar bhati hui thi..

par mein aapne wade ko poora nahi kar paayi...mein rone ragi😭

naina mandir mein aayi main usse dekha aur aapne aasoo poch liye..woh kehena lagi

N:wah geet mujhe dost bolthi hain aur mujhse hi aapne aasoo chupathi hai😔

G:nahi naina aise baat nahi hai...aacha tu bata tu is waqt yaha kya kar rahi hai????

N:mujhe aaj ki date pata hai aur mein yeh bhi raahthi hoon ki tu puri raat soyi nahi hogi...

aur mein jaa kar sab ko utthane kagi kyunki 6 baje ki flight thi...

sab utth kar tayaar ho gay phir hum 5:30 ghar se nikal gaye luckily flight 2 ghante late thi...

hum flight mein jaa kar baith gaye...

abhi meri manzil mujhse 3 ghante ki doori par hai...

mein flight mein naina ke saath baith gayi thi

fligth take off kar chuki thi

PART7:

mein soo jayi thi..

jab delhi aane wala thanaina ne mujhe jagaya..

maine casually ma se poocha ki airport koun aayaga

M:(mom)geet airport par maan dev aur naintara ayenge..

G:(st)kya...😲.

mein conscious ho gayi thi...😳haan mujhe yaad aaya ki ek baar mom ne kaha ki hum dono ki families milke shopping karenge...

main ghabrane lagi ..

Flight land kar chuki thi...

PART 8:

time:breakfast table

place:hoshiyarpur-khurana mansion...

the table is rectangular with 8 chairs...

in the head chair was sitting rishab singh khurana the head of the family and father of maan singh khurana...opposite to him was sitting savitri devi khurana wife of rishab and mother of msk..

left of rishab were sitting dev singh khurana elder son of family and after him was naintara khurana wife of dev and the darling SIL of msk...after her was annie rathord and opposite to her was her hubby arjun rathord and leaving a place was sitting(my ff hero...)maan singh khurana the love of the family...

he was the love of the family only because of his stubornness the agreed to marry him with geet...

(now everything will be maan's monolouge except conv...:)

aaj se ek mahine baad meri shaadi hai aur mein bohut zyada khush hoon mere maan tho kar raha hai ki main aabhi jaake geet ko aapni bahoon mein lee loon aur mehoos karu ki kaise lagtha hai par woh bohut dur hai. mein call karna chata hoon par iss samey woh mera call nahi utthayagi...

mein 2 min ke liye bahar gaya jab takmein aaya mera ek dost wahan baitha tha mera reaction deekhne ke liya mujhe itna jussa😡😡😡 aaya ki meine usski haddi todh di 😕aur bola

agli baar koi yaha baita to REACTION isse bura hoga....

mein jab bhi call karhta hoon woh 10 min baath kar kar call rakh deti hai😒...pata nahi kyun par 2 mahine se yeh meri aadath ban chuki hai...

In the same park geet and shylu she came to park for jogging….

After dinner everyone assembled in living room to see the movie selected by geet.

While watching the movie during some songs they itself would start dancing like for:

and then for lo chali mein naintara would dance with maan...

when it was nearing the ending of the movie almost every one slept except geet,maan,naina,lavi,and naintara...now the was like Nilesh sleeping on devanshi lap and she on dev's lap..dev was on lavi's lap and dev's head was resting on naintara's shoulders..naina and geet was sitting to gether with lavi geet was in between and maan was sitting between naintara and dev...many times maanwould steel glances to geet...

after the movie everyone went to sleep...

like this it self 5 days went in the same routine as maan trying to talk to geet and geet avoiding him by some reason or the other...

PART 18:

Today all planned to go for shopping…

All were ready and they came down except geet…dev called 3 taxies…

In one dev,naintara,naina,devanshi and nilesh were ready to go…they had place for 1 more so they asked maan to call geet..he went and came after 2 min. saying that geet will come in another one😉…so they called him but he said that he would come after everyone….so the first one was gone….

Then in second one brij,lavi,karan,rano and mohinder were there…they asked maan about geet so he said that she had already gone in the first one itself….so they too went😉….

They maan had a victory smile😃😃 on his face…..then he saw geet coming he wiped off his smile and was with a straight face….geet came out and was locking the door….after locking maan saw her searching for the taxies….he saw her confusion and was trying to control her laughter….

Then he saw her going to the drivers standing and asking about the other…

G:suniye bhai sahib saari car kahan chali gayi?

TD:mam 2 car tho chali gayi hai…aab aap aur yeh bahi sahib reh gaye hai aur aap ko is ek taxi mein jana hai…

Maan's hope was shattered into pieces 😭😭 he thought that he and geet would go alone….but then too he didn't lost hope….he saw in the direction of the car…geet went and sat in the back seat and the driver was coming near the car………

Maan ran to the driver and asked him the keys….after getting the keys he went and sat in the driving seat and started to drive the car……after exiting the gate of the home maan adjusted the rear mirror in such a way that he can see geet…..

He wanted geet to talk to him but he didn't get any topic on how to start…..then suddenly an idea struck on his mind..

M:geet how is south India?(maan asked in English as he knew even if he ask in hindi geet's answer would surely be in eng. Only rarely would reply in hindi to maan….maan wanted to know why is it like that??)

Geet:a white simple saree with border made of red colour..

Shopping ke baad tho khana banta hi hai so all went to the caf…

It consisted of a 6 chair table…so they took 2tables…

1^st table: rano, mohinder,brij,lavi,dev,naintara occupied….

2^nd table..:maan sat first(to give detailed description is important…)

To his right sat geet and left was devanshi…after geet was karan then naina after naina was nilesh…

Then after some time they ordered the items…

Both maan and geet at the same time,

"COLD COFFEE"…seeing this the remaining 4 burst into laughter..

Then all ordered…it came and all started to hav their drinks..maan was bored so he started to extend his legs having a naughty smile on his lips…he found a leg thinking it's geet's leg he started to brush his legs..

But actually it was devanshi's leg…as soon as devanshi felt it she got shocked where as was getting shocked that geet did not give reaction for it…..

Then devanshi bent down and saw that maan's leg was brushing her leg

Then it was time to go so all decided to go how them came as till now they didn't knew how geet and maan came…hearing this maan was very happy…but his happiness was short lived when he heard brij and geet talk….

Like this 10 days went the same way maan trying to please geet and know why is her behavior like this…that day night he came to know that he is the reason because of why she is behaving like this when he came across geet's room and heard geet and naina talking….

Then they went down for breakfast…today they had to go to the designer for getting their wedding dresses as there were only 10 days for marriage…the preparation was on full swing…it was decided that after 5 days they would move for hosiyarpur…the next say satyanarayan katha, then mehendi,sangeet with haldi and finally the marriage…..

D:aacha….par unhone kaha ki hum aaj aakar le sakthe hai….

M:haan bhai maine bhi yahi bola…tho who bole ki unka aadmi aaj designs la kar dikha dega….

Saying so they all went back….but maan's mind was still roaming on yesterday's events…..

PART 21:

After 5 days ---- they were ready to go the hosyarpur….

This 5 days were very tiring for everyone as in this 5 days they had to do lot of shopping…like gifts,dresses,etc.etc.,…the marriage lehenga came and it was packed neatly and kept without showing to any one….

The dress design was known to only handa's and naina…they planned to keep it as a little secret for the wedding….

Finally they boarded the bus for going….as it was their own bus (refer before..)they went dancing all the way….dev was driving and naintara was sitting near him….suddenly all heard the song ABCDEF (hum aapke hain kuon..) they were searching the source for the song when dev showed his mobile indicating that his mobile was on….

then all started dancing on that song the after that song the song hum jo chalne lage(jab we met..)was running…even for this they danced…many danced like maan ,naina ,lavi ,devanshi ,even naintara joined…naina many times called geet but she refused…..

They were nearing hoshiyarpur….maan was really very happy that after 5 days he would be married to his love but till now he cannot know the reason for geet's aloofness towards him…..but he thought that till how many days will geet be aloof….

after 5 days she will come to him only na…..thinking this maan also stopped forcing geet to make convo. With him….

Before going to HP rano and mohinder wanted to go to temple…so the asked dev to stop near the temple……. They got down even geet got down along with naina...she got a aarthy thal and started climbing the temple stairs….here our maan cant be even for 2 min.

without seeing geet…as soon as geet started climbing he got down and ran behind her….and dev and naintara were there making fun of him……

When he reached there he saw that they started praying….so he removed his shoes and went inside…when he saw geet his heart started beating like a drum…he saw that geet was covering her head with her white dupatta,praying…..maan thought she was looking totally scenic…he was totally lost in her until naina came and disturbed him….he cursed her under his breath for disturbing him…..but then what she said totally embarrassed him…..

N:oo mere hone wale jiju….bhagwan use taraf hai naki is taraf!!!!..

M:(totally embarrassed…but trying to cover up…)aacha honi wali saali sahiba…mein tho aapne bhagwan ko hitho dekh raha hun(referring to geet…)

Hearing this naina was totally shocked…she started feeling pity for him because ereelovesher this much and there……

She thought…geet u r very lucky…though u don't love him or…whatever he still loves u very much….may god keep them always together…inspite of geet's behavior….god please……

Then all came back for temple and then reached HP…..

There they were welcomed in a very grand way….they were to stay in rano's sister home which was a little far form maan's home…as they reached there they said formal hi and went to rano's sister home..(name:pammi…)..pammi was very nice natured…she was living in a apartment with his hubby and 2 children…..she has 3 but 1 was working….but for her sister marriage she came….pammi's home was filled with laughter as it was filled with guests…..

After reaching there her sister sameera started teasing her….some how naina came there and said geet to fresh up…..as they were going to do the final shoppings….(please note:in my ff don't consider HP as a small town….in this it is like a city…..so they have many facilities…)….

PART 22:

That day was schelduded for the ganpati pooja followed by the engagement…so all guests started coming and there was a lot of hustle bustle going on in the homes of the both families..geet was asked to get fresh as she should not look tired evening…

It was after noon and all the guests were resting….SAMEERA and GEET went to parlour with NAINA…there geet was made to get ready as the mohurat of pooja was 6:00 and engagement was 7:30..

On reaching parlour the beautician said geet to get changed…after changing she was made to sit in front of mirror…the beautician did golden facial…and her hair was made as a buff…then her nails were painted and face was made more beautiful by applying mascara,lipgloss,khol,and a simple bindi…her jewellery was put on…in true sense she was looking as a bride for her engagement…

the remaining just did simple facial and were ready….when the saw geet they started to tease her saying that MAAN would become flat seeing her…they had to stay there and was to go when rano would call them as the bride should not be seen by any one before the pooja…

it was 6:15 when the call came and asked them to come as all would be busy in the pooja…..so the beautician did touchup for geet and they left for their home..

when they reached they saw rano waiting for them…as soon as rano saw geet she took her to her room and made her sit in front of the AC to avoid the sweat….

After the pooja of the groom's side the pandit called the bride…rano went to bring geet….many gasps were heard when geet came….when maan saw her he just wanted drown in her eyes…but his bad luck that geet didn't even meet his eyes….when geet came and stood beside maan he felt goose bumps…

And the pooja started with the contribution of both bride and groom….after the pooja the pandit asked the groom's parents to came and bless both…..they came and blessed them together…after that all went to the terrace for the engagement since there only arrangements were made….

Maan wanted to talk to geet but she was not at all seeing him….he started to get a little frustration…when they were going up without the knowledge of anyone he pulled geet aside and whispered…."U ARE MINE SO EVEN IF U IGNORE ME THIS WONT CHANGE THE FACT….SO STOP IGNORING ME AND ENJOY….THIS IGNORANCE WONT CAUSE ANY DIFFERENCE IN ME DECISION"…saying so he went off leaving a baffled geet….after calming herself and making a final decision she went to the terrace….

There almost all had come and now it was the time Afor the ring exchange….so the bride and the groom was made to sit together…and the families came with her ring….th first turn was of maan…he took the ring and looked at geet….she was still not looking at him….but he took her hand resulting in the hooting of the crowd and made her wear the ring…now it was geet's turn….she took the ring and kept in front of maan….all were waiting to know what geet will do but were disappointed when maan himself kept his hands in front….many said that maan would be"JORU KA GULAM"but maan didn't hear anything…geet made him wear the ring and they ware 1 step ahead in their relation and were called as eachother's fianc…after that all the guests started leaving….

Even maan's family was starting to leave….geet's family went with them to drop them….all were exhausted….so they decided to rest for some time as the next day would be mehandi and they had many works to do for that….so this day came to an end…..and there was only 3 more days for the name maan and geet to become MANEET…..
