before 5 months in HP:

it was a usual day in the town...all the gents were going for work to their factories...the same was in the case in the khurana house...the DIL of the house was doing pooja and the mother was cooking..the elder son was sitting on the dining table with his father and the smallest member was sitting on his father's lap and wailing...after sometime a small girl came out and cried for her mother...the DIL went to her...

after pacifying her she went to the kitchen and brought the breakfast and started serving..in sometime the mother too came and sat...

DIL: devar ji hasn't come till now. i will call now...

saying so she went to a room which was opened little...she slowly went inside and opened the curtains..the rays were falling on a handsome face...that person said..

P:bhabi pls let me sleep...today is saturday only..

DIL: i know devar ji...but mummyji is called u down immediately...

P:[got up immediately..]what ma..

DIL: yes...

P:ok...tell her i will come in 5 minutes...

saying so he ran to the washroom and the she went down smirking..after sometime the person comes down..

P:gud mrng maa...did u call me??

M:gud mrng bete...no i didn't call u...who told??

seeing the side of his bhabi to see her muffling her giggles...

wishing everyone he sat down for breakfast... suddenly papaji started the conversation...

P:maan bete how is studies going???

M:fine papaji...

P:so today u are having holiday...so why don't u join me...

M:sure papaji...i will come...u go and wait outside...

P:ok...come soon..and dev today u have to go to Delhi get the raw materials...

D:ya...i am ready...i will start now...

with this he went outside followed by maan then dev...dev started his journey for Delhi where as maan and his dad for the factory...while walking dad asked maan to go before and open the factory...so maan started going front...dad was walking slowly...maan was near the shop...they had to cross..maan went ahead and crossed...dad was in thinking something while crossing the road and didn't see the truck approaching...

since it was early morning the truck was driving at a very high speed...in a fraction of second the truck hit him and the next second he was lying on the floor in a pool of blood...maan saw that and screamed "PAPAJI"

immediately ambu was called and he was taken to the hospital...the whole family came there...he was taken in ICU and maan went to fill the formalities as dev had gone to Delhi...they didn't inform him as he would be in tension...

maan filled the form and went to the waiting room near the ICU...maan's mom savitri was crying and naintara was consoling her while trying to stop her own tears...maan couldn't see them in that condition...so he went to the pharmacy to get the medicines...they took maan's dad (rajveer) for some tests as he was a sugar patient and had lost much blood and operating in this condition would be risky...

after the tests all were waiting for the report...the report came and the doc called maan in his room...

D:hello...

M:hello doctor...how are the reports??

D:for that only i called u...the reports are not fine..

M:why doctor???

D:actually he has lost a huge amount of blood...and in diabetes it is very risky to do this operation...

M:risky??

D:yes...as the truck had hit the area near the brain there might be less chances for his survival...

M:is there no any other way??

D:yes...if anyone can give blood for him then we can first give him blood then know his response to it..if his body accepts it then we can operate him immediately...

M:sure doc...u can give blood...

D:i know..but at present we don't have this blood group...if u can arrange for this group then it would be nice...

M:sure doc...u can take my blood to...

saying so maan was led to the room for the donation of blood...he was made near rajveer and the blood was transfused directly...

after giving blood raj was again taken for test so that the condition could be determined..and that test was positive that said that he could be operated...so he was taken to the operation theatre...

all were waiting outside the operation theatre while the red light was on...after nearly 2 hours the light went off...within that time all the family came there...the doc came there and said that the operation was successful...but they should keep him under observation for some hours...

saying so the doc went of leaving the family in relief...all started to disperse leaving the khurana's..the next day doc came to check on him...while going through the reports they started to panic...seeing them maan too started to worry...

M:doctor what happened??

D:Maan i am sorry to say but Mr.Khurana is only responding to 50% medicines..due to which only half treatment can be done...hope that he regain consciousness soon..

the doc left and maan's mom broke down...naintara tried to console her...by that time dev too came as he was informed...

slowly raj's hand moved...maan called the doc...he rushed and checked...and said that he could be improving only if he has the will to live...and he must not receive any stress...the doc went out leaving the family to rejoice...

R:maa...maan...[he called slowly..]

M:[immediately..]haan papaji...

R:will u agree to one thing???

M:sure papaji...just say...

R:i want u to marry soon so that even if anything happens to me i will be happy that i have seen all my kids settled...

M:but...papaji...this much soon???

R:pls bete...i am not saying that u should marry any particular person...even if u like someone u tell me...i will agree to that...

M:but now i am not ready to marry...

saying so maan went out...savitri followed him to try to pacify him to agree...but he never agreed...like this 5 days passed with maan refusing...due to this raj's health was deterring..finally on the 6th say the doc said that if he will have the same stress then they could not save him...finally savitri planned to use her last weapon...she called maan to her room...

M:what happened why did u call me??

S:i want to talk to u..

M:if it is related to marriage then sorry i have lot of work...

S:but beta pls listen to me...

M:ok tell me but the last time and whatever u tell would be the last time we are discussing this..

S:ok...

M:tell...

S:u know what is our position in this house...

M:yes i know...but why are u opening this wounds now??

S:this is the time we can pay back rajveer what he did for us before 19 years..

M:maa...

S:pls listen to me...u know in what condition i was and why rajveer agreed to marry me...

M:but..

S:i have not finished yet...though u are not his blood he loved u like his son...not only son but more than that...and dev???he has his life in his brother who is not even his blood...and now what are they just asking???ur dad wants to see u settled peacefully before anything happens to him...

M:par maa...how can i marry...and whom???

S:that is not a problem...my son is soo handsome that no girl will say no...

M:but then too maa...

S:no ifs no buts...if u care for ur dad then u will say yes...u have 10 minutes...decide and give me ur answer..i will be waiting for u outside...
