Umm so... some people might be wondering why the second part knowing that I mentioned in first part as 'The End', I had also written a NOTE, but some of them told me to continue. Anyways this one is totally my imagination and I did not include Your-Place-Is-In-My-Shoe crap and so here is the part.
PART 2
They say morning brings hope, but not necessarily for everyone. Despite Swayam's and Sharon's frantic attempts to grab some sleep, they miserably failed in doing so. Swayam was still sitting on the chair with his head in his hands, and it was then he heard a knock. He got up and opened the door to see Rey's mom holding a breakfast with a very assuring smile which indicated everything will be alright. Somehow her face showed she knew what he was going through, did Rey tell anything to her he wondered. He was lost in his thoughts and then he heard her clearing out her throat "Good morning beta...i have got you some breakfast."
"Umm...thanks... I mean thank you auntie for the breakfast...uhhh sorry Good morning...uh come in...sorry it's your house and I am telling you to come in...uhh sorry again" he fumbled, not in his senses and muttered something that barely made sense.
She gave him a slight nod and entered placing the breakfast on the side table and then she saw the blood stained headrest of the chair. Swayam was still near the door holding the door knob twisting it in both the directions as if showing how exactly he was going through, his soul was getting twisted the same way.
"Swayam beta come here...sit" she said gently patting him on his back and then she saw some dry blood on the collar of his shirt and realized it was coming from backside of his head. He then sat on the bed and Rey's mom offered him coffee "Have it you will feel better" she said and left that room. He was still staring blankly nowhere and then he heard Rey's voice "Good morning dude, jaldi se have your coffee or else we will be late for the college"
"Umm Rey tu ja I am going home now ...and I am not coming to college today."
"Why are you bunking college Swayam, you should not do this" he heard Rey's mom saying with a first-aid box in her hand.
"See na mom he always does this and that's why even I bunk the college...because of him my attendance is low." Rey tried to divert Swayam's attention so that his mom could dress his wound without causing him pain. But he was not aware of the fact that Swayam was too numb to feel that physical pain knowing that his inner pain was beyond this.
"Yeah Rey I am the root cause of all the problems, so you go to college don't worry about me...let me suffer alone" Swayam muttered.
"Swayam beta why are you saying like that...it's true we create problems...but we should also learn to face them and not just run away and suffer alone."Rey's mom advised him while she was dressing up his wound.
Rey patted him on back and said "Tu aa raha hai mere saath and that's final"
He then dragged Swayam out of the room and they then sat in his car. Swayam lost at words managed to mumble a Thank you to Rey's mom. She gave him a positive nod and said "She must also be in the same pain and suffering like you...go and talk to her." And they drove off, first they halted at Swayam's place for him to change and then rushed to college.
Rey had texted all of their friends not to mention a word about yesterday's incident. Soon as they reached the college, Swayam's eyes were searching only for her, although he had decided to stay away from her but he could not resist her. He suddenly wanted to know whether she was okay or not, he located Simmi and Rinni and rushed to them "Sharon kaha hai?" he asked them straight forward.
"Hey Swayam she is in rehearsal hall...umm take this...principal sir handed this to you and Sharon... it's some kind of report." Simmi tried to act as normal as possible and handed him the file. The gang had made all the setting as per Rey's advice so that the rehearsal hall will be empty and no one would loiter around that place, of course without letting Swayam and Sharon aware of their plan.
Swayam immediately rushed to the hall. He just wanted to see whether she was alright or not, just one glance and it would give him some kind of solace. The door was closed, the lights were dim but through the door slit he could see her and there she was, snug in her own cocoon with her head on her knees. That sight made him feel guiltier. "What have I done to her?" he flinched a bit and was retreating.
She heard some footsteps and got up immediately expecting it would be Swayam and rushed to the door clutching the door slit. She could see something wrapped around his head "God, did he hurt himself?" she thought. She looked at him longingly; he could see her hazel colored eyes through the small opening of the door, telling him through the infinitesimal space to stop. He stopped on seeing this and inched closer to the door, sliding his fingers over the door slit and stopped them near her fingers, not knowing whether he still had the right to place them on hers. She entangled her little finger with his and pulled it slightly communicating with his finger to come inside the hall. He blinked, as a signal to proceed, Sharon tried to unlock the door but it was jammed. She was literally pulling the door too hard to let it open so that she could be with him, the door was an obstacle, blocking their way, not allowing them to be together, she let out a cry. Swayam too was pushing the door but their efforts went futile.
They both stopped at once, Sharon then moved backwards now Swayam indicated her not to give up and with all his might he pushed that door hard. It opened at once and he was pushed inside and was about to collide with her but he got hold of her waist and instead of falling on her he swiveled her and he banged down along with her with his head hitting the floor. The floor seemed soft, he wondered why. But in the next second he felt a jerk inside his head, he shivered slightly and winced in pain. For a moment everything went blur, but he could see her face clearly strange as it seemed. It was her hand under his head, she then carefully helped him to get up with her other hand around his arm and made him sit comfortably. There was a stunning silence, both didn't utter a word. Swayam then picked up the file which Simmi had handed over to him and immediately without looking into her eyes said almost in a whisper "I know I don't deserve to stand in front of you, but I needed to give you this file...it's some kind of report, please check it, I will then submit it to sir" and then he stopped abruptly. He then almost mumbled the next words in a hurry "And Sharon I am really sorry for what I said yesterday...I really didn't mean even a bit of it..I know I will not be forgiven no matter what I say now..but still"
He was about to get up but he felt a small tug at his shirt and then heard her voice which he was literally craving to hear "That's all you wanted to say? And what is this bandage on your head? Did you hurt yourself? And why you have not folded the hands of your shirt over inner white tee?" she was shooting him with questions. Sharon was accustomed to see Swayam being the original self be it his style of wearing his shirt or anything else ...she wanted everything to be back to normal. But this time he was not going to answer to all of them, because he thought he had no right to justify himself in front of her. Without responding to her question he turned around and walked towards the door, at once Sharon ran past him and shut the door immediately "We need to talk Swayam...about US" she muttered softly. "No Sharon...there was never US and there is never going to be US, don't worry Sharon I won't pester you anymore...i will get out of your life as soon as possible." He said leaving her in disbelief about what he said.
