Aiyo, Nalan is so cute! :) And he's sharp too! He should be somewhere else, you know?

And his walking into their kitchen like that, I used to do that.. to my tamilian neighbors. Their paatti was my paatti, their chithi, my chithi, their dosa with coconut chutney, my dosa with coconut chutney! :P

'An illiterate from Delhi fresh for the picking.' Hahah! I love how he calls ASR an illiterate. Truer words have never been said.. At least by him! :P

Kashi's dad is a sweetheart! :)

And ASR doesn't know what he's just lost. A child is disappointed. And he actually took a liking towards him..

And you know what this story made me do? It made me try on my really old half-saree. It doesn't fit, and all.. But if my mum knew about the inspiration.. Devi, she would kiss you right now! :P :D

Kashi always thought that her father did not really understand her ... but 'It was to her surprise that she was discovering as she got older that her father understood her better than she gave him credit for.'

"Aha, I just got rid of this thing in the pond this morning. And here you bring it back! Why do you have to give me grief so early in the morning?" Kashi chechi it will not be that easy to get rid of a person like Mr. Raizada ... the sooner you realise it the better ...

Loved Nallan to bits ... the " boy who loved spinning tall tales. It was his favorite hobby. And here he had hooked up with the perfect target. " An illiterate from Delhi fresh for the picking. " " who even tried matchmaking between Kashi and Arnav !

"He looked at the man for a moment, disappointment and something else clouding his eyes, before he turned to look at her." Nallan feels a sudden dislike (perhaps) for the man whome he had thought of as a new friend but who is here only to buy off his Kashi chechi's house ... I think he's just too shocked at this disclosure ...

The bit abour ur sibling being loved more than u is so true in more families. Isn't it surprising that the one u think is the pampered and adored child feels that u are that special child for his / her parents. Been through this though with a brother, but we are perfectly fine now.

Nalan is a superstar...couldn't handle Arnav falling off his pedestal and left without eating. Poor Arnav does not even realise what he has done to lose this new found frendship. How come Kashi had such a muted reaction to the rumour? Something's cooking in KH and it is definitely not Kashi's making.

Thank you for a wonderful update..loved it to bits. If i were to quote a dialogue, i would have to quote the entire update, especially the malayalam dialogues..it brought out the characters.

The dialogues between Nalan, Kashi, Arnav trio left me grinning..Arnav caught the blatant lie of the kid for a change. Though nalan conveniently hushed up that he is the one behind the rumors. 😆 , nalan was disappointed when he came to know the ugly truth about arnav.

Kash's father is so understanding, though he may be a man of less words..He reminded me of my dad..;) The pallavi-kashi understanding was sweet..

I loved Tanya's idea of 'puttu' for breakfast for arnav..that 'ballistic missle' expression of yours left me rofling..;)

Edit: Going thru the comments i read about the story being dragged?!!..Seriously, are you reading the story that am reading ..Or giving you the benefit of doubt..you may not have intended it and the words came out wrong...
