Many of us have friends who are more than just friends. A relationship that cannot be defined or fitted into norms defined by society. A relationship that you treasure and which makes your life richer, more meaningful and happier. It sometimes cannot be named and fitted into pre-conceived slot as the bond goes much deeper than the mere definition. I am no different, today.
Today, I am seeing a change in myself. Actually, no let me correct the facts not today but quite a time now. Every morning I get up I have this stupid smile playing on my lips. I think of how the day is gonna begin and end today, another tiff with him or another glaring session where we would just stare each other with annoyance for the other in our eyes. His eyes always captivate me with the charm in it. I wonder how someone can be so impeccable. With his hairs curled at the right place, lips curved into a perfect smile, eyes glistening with innocence. He has been a part of my life from not really long, part of my life wait when did he claim a part of my life? We never could converse with a straight face as we have always been enemies, to be precise since the day the college started. Let me forget about the past and talk about the present, I hated him from the day he sat beside me in the plain to the day he was made to share a house with me. Let me start with our contrast. Despite the vast height difference between us, I always managed to pull his hair. Let me keep the fact aside that I love his silky strands as they are so welcoming, I for one time want to run my hand in his hair. I pulled his hair but never got to touch and feel it for real. I wish I had hair like his. I don't think there is any major age difference between us, but there sure is a difference in the size of our brains as he got a relatively big one. The one in which he has nothing apart than stones this what I think. People have their own opinions as our landlady says he has something which is called brain but it is packed and he hasn't opened the seal yet, he is trying to preserve it for long. Okay, enough of his mocking. We got to agree to the fact that he looks so young than his age if we go by his habits. He has this habit of talking to his biceps, bathing wearing boxers and what not? He wears Mickey-mouse tees while his friends prefer playboy. He has the energy of a man twice his age i.e. as lazy as he could and the maturity of a man half his age. He is that rare, perfect combination. He is also amazingly fit, tall and handsome with a very striking personality. Wait a sec, I appreciated him that too in 4 adjectives and phrases in total. No, I couldn't.
"But why couldn't i?"I love him. *correction*. I mean I love his antics. I love how he would splash water really hard while playing football in his bathroom, yeah I finally confessed here that I sneak into his bathroom but I did it with good intentions of discovering the fact why does he have that football in his bathroom. He looks so adorable when he swings his arms in the air, with a swift repetitive movement of his hands when he hits a goal. Ninety eight percent of the time, he is really sweet. Yes, sweet! He thinks he is sweet and nonchalant while I am canny and bourgeois because I am the one who fights with him. But I got to agree to the fact that a fight with him is just like a Godiva chocolate whose taste lingers long after you have finished relishing it not like the sticky sweet like cheap candy chocolates that adhere stubbornly to every crevice in your mouth, and you just want to get over with it because it is annoying much.
The rest of the two percent he acts really sweet, really. Just like..
"Someone is blushing." A voice rang in my ears, as I turned around to look at its source I found my conscience to acquire a form apart from me. "I'm not. Who said?" I asked the one standing in front of me with a stern expression on her face. "Have a look at yourself. You have your cheeks pink and eyes lowered thinking of..." she wore the gotch-ya expression on her face. "Thinking of what?" I enquired. "thinking of the moment Swayam kissed you on your eyes, the time he held you so close to him when you both were about to kiss, the time when he comes close to you. Thinking of..." she seemed not to stop today and go on and on but god, I had to stop her what if someone, what if he heard it. "No one could hear me except you." My conscience corrected my statement. "Shoo-shhoo of!" I commanded her to wander away. I need to clear all this. There is nothing as such, right! Nothing.
Really nothing? This time I am literally want the answer to this question. But he is the one who was there to save me from those jerks who tried to mock me in university, he fought them. It was no surprise that those jerks were really dangerous, either he or they would have admitted to the hospital if they fight would have continued. I think jessy was right about this special relationship of mine with Dangar. He has always been there for me no matter what. He has an infectious laugh and a vivacious spirit and unlike others fighting with him makes me feel so much better. A man would have to be out of his mind to say he doesn't like Jennifer Lopez but Dangar is out of his mind for going all gaga over her. okay, I understand he likes her but saying Oh my god-- Jennifer Lopez—drool—Oh my god I think this summarizes most of his reactions is like oh—puhlease. Am I jealous of her? no, I am not. Why would I be? I am fine with the fact that he loves her. No-no rectified, he likes her, just the way I like Ryan Reynolds. What if he never gets over her JLo and never ever! HUH! No, it couldn't possibly come true. I don't know what has hit me why am I filling my word document with all this? Why am I even sitting here with my laptop in the middle of the night at 3' to be precise. Literally. I should be asleep at this time. there was a moment when I was warm, cozily snuggled up in the quilt, dreaming that John Cena was pitted against Shah Rukh in a six pack abs-contest, the first of its kind for men, the concept pioneered by yours truly. As I put the full stop I heard Dangar shouting. But what was he shouting? Was he spying me? No! I hit the floor, wide awake, with a sensation of cold floor and dull pain in my side.
"Fut the Wuk."I yelled rudely and the trance made a hasty exit from my eyes, like orange pips spat out in danger.
"Sharon! Doomna!" he shouted all at once.
I saw him standing on the threshold breathing heavily and my laptop which landed safe in my lap.
P.S: so this was it. an update from Sharon's POV. now,what i am waiting for is your review how was it? how could i improve? your comments are all what matters the most. so do tell me if you like it and tell me even if you didn't.
