Prologue...

Arnav watched in dispair as Khushi's small, weary body emerged from behind the bars of her cell.

She didn't look at him.

She wasn't crying.

She spoke nothing.

The guard unlocked the steel cuffs that had marked her small wrists.

"You are free to go Mrs. Raizada."

Upon hearing him call her 'that name' she finally let out a disgusted cry and held her stomach...

Khushi began to walk...

She looked at the cold concrete ground..."I need...I need someone...I need a friend..."

A voice penetrated her thoughts..."K...Khushi..."

All movement stopped.

Her bloodshot eyes ascended to the tall figure beside her.

Her husband.

Nothing.

Not a single feeling.

Not a single spark.

"I am... free...FREE!" she thought..."Finally free from any feelings my heart had for him...Finally..."

She breathed a sigh of relief...

Arnav thought it was relief to see him and he started towards her...

Seeing this, Khushi raised a hand..."Step No further towards me Arnav."

Arnav.

"Khushi?" his eyes now coiled back in fear...

As her name shattered off his lips, it also echoed off another's...

"Khushiji!"

Her heart began to beat...

Turning fast, towards her newfound spirit pulse, she saw the one who now filled her heart with life...

"Nahneji!!!!!"

Arnav died that day. His heart, his soul...crushed...

He watched at the woman he loved more than life, ran to another...

Wrapped her arms around another...

Cried on the shoulder of another...

And Clung earnestly to another...

He watched them finally withdraw and their eyes now locked...

The look that was once for him, was now for another...

Staggering, his back hit the wall behind him...

"I have...lost..." his voice faded...

Interesting start, please do continue, many questions have been raised - y was she in jail? Who put her there - I assume ASR had a hand in it somewhere as she seems to recoil 4rm him now. At least she has a true friend in go NK. Looking 4ward to reading more and seeing wat ASRs next course of action wud b.
