another story. i loved the prologue sounds interesting! is it on the new spoiler? why the hell will khushi be in jail.😲 good that she avoided arnav. he deserve it. she should leave him i say.

Really a mind-blowing start...quite literally 😉
I hope there is a good reason for her to be behind bars... So am gonna take comfort in hoping that Arnav had nothing to do with it since he came n is hurt...

Why do I feel like they have brought NK because Khushi might need a friend when she get out of jail..(if that happens in show.)

Part 1

"Get your goddamn hands off my wife."

Arnav was in a rage.

A red rage.

An aneurysm-inducing rage.

A going-postal rage.

And the worst part? His wife, his'everything'goddammit, Khushi was his everything'didn't care about his presence...didn't give a damn that he was standing by watching her in the arms of another man...

Which enraged him further.

He knew that his distrust of her was abominable...that his reaction to the false accusations that Shyam had placed on her was the sickest...

"It is 6 months Mr. Raizada! I am NOT your wife..." Khushi tossed over her shoulder, letting NK lead her out of the dreary police station...

The last thing Arnav saw was her dupatta flying around the corner...

"I'm gonna f**king kill him..." he said as he charged out towards them...

Nk had his arm around Khushi as she cried quietly trying to convince NK to take her somewhere where no one would find her...

"Khushiji...I am so sorry that you had to spend the night in jail...You don't deserve this..." his voice was caring...

She looked up at him...

"Nahneji...I can't take anymore...I have been blamed for so much...my name means nothing anymore...my whole life means nothing anymore..."

NK held her shoulders and turned her to face him..."Do NOT say that...You did not cause ANY of this...YOU have sacrificed too much...YOU deserve so much happiness Khushiji...You're...You're my desi girl!"

Khushi smiled sadly...

Their gazes locked again...but their connection was soon lost when they heard Arnav's furious yell...

"Let's see how goddamn happy your arms are around my wife after I break them off your damn body!"

"Naanav! Stop it! Can't you see that she doesn't want to be around you! I'm sorry for all that you have been through, but SOMEONE needs to be here for Khushiji...and that is going to be me..."

Arnav felt as though he was going to go mad...

His eyes went ballistic as he hissed, "Screw that. I love her! She is MY wife! and YOU aren't taking her ANYWHERE!"

Arnav looked at Khushi who was holding on tight to NK...

"No..." he thought..."she...she is mine..."

Finally Khushi spoke..."Please stop calling me your wife. The deal was for 6 months. You legally have to set me free. And I don't want to be around you. I don't want to see you. I don't care about you. I want to be with Nahneji...I need a friend. I need someone who cares about me...about my emotions...He makes me smile...he makes me happy...It's over...whatever sick, twisted, fake THING we had...it's OVER!"

She burst into tears...

Arnav stepped forward and felt a dagger plunge into his heart when she stepped closer to NK in fear...

"Please...Khushi...I'm...I'm so...sorry...so so sorry...I don't want to hurt you...I hate seeing you hurting...I hate seeing you cry...you...you must be sad that this is ending, why else would you be crying..."

Khushi's head snapped up so fast, she felt jabs of pain shoot down her neck..."Why else? Why else would I be crying!? You sent me to JAIL! I wasn't able to help Di! My heart is BREAKING for her!I wasn't able to comfort Jiji! This whole mess has devistated her! I wasn't even able to rejoice in the fact that after all my searching, all my sleepless nights, all my sorrow, and all my terror, I HAD FINALLY, FINALLY found my husband...who instantly glared at me with hate, who instantly condemned me, and who instantly sent me away in handcuffs!"

Khushi's voice was no longer her own. She sounded like a wounded animal, crying to be freed...

She began to feel lightheaded and stumbled back...

Arnav quickly tried to reach for her...

But NK had already steadied her and held her close as she fisted her fingers in his shirt...

"Naanav...Face it. It's time you moved on. Khushi deserves so much...so much happiness...and as you can see...She is NOT happy with you..."

Khushi's sorrowful eyes stayed closed as she spoke..."Arnavji..."

The final remnants of his spirit lit up at the sound of his name on her lips...

He kept his eyes on her lips as she spoke...

"Arnavji...All your actions have been to protect Di...Now she needs you more than ever...be there for her...I love her...I wish I could be...but I will not return to RM again...Now all that stood in your way...is gone...even me..."

Tears flew of Arnav's face as he fiercely shook his head..."No...No Khushi...Please...I'm begging you...Don't do this...I DO trust you! I love you! I Can't..."

NK moved Khushi behind him..."YOU can't!? You can be as pissed off at me as you like ARNAV, but I WILL NOT let you hurt her anymore!"

Animal rage stampeded inside Arnav... "You son of a bitch!"

NK lifted a hand..."If you can tell me that you have treated her fairly, that you've been a good provider for HER, a good support for HER, that you've been a good husband, then I will step away...but do you see her running to YOU!? You're pride and your hate won!"

Arnav felt doomed.

Every cell in his body was rejecting this loss...

Yes, his sister did need him...but now...he needed Khushi...

Arnav, realizing that this may be the only card left to play, fell on his knees before NK..."NK...I can't lose her...I love her...When I was kidnapped, she was all I thought of...All that kept me going...I have been fed nothing but lies from shyam and..."

"And you f**king believed them! You've known Khushi for HOW LONG!? and I have known her HALF that and yet, I see her purity! I see her innocence! NO Naanav...I won't let you near her..."

Arnav's emotions were crippled...

His body knelt immovably...he felt a debilitating grief overcome him...

He watched Khushi walk away...Nk's arms around her...

He couldn't bare it...

The pain he felt was too great...

The only woman he'd ever wanted.

The only woman he'd ever loved.

And he'd lost her...
