Chapter 26
Geet stepped back a little when she saw who it was at the door. The person handed her a flower while bending down..Geet smiled and took the flower from him..
"yash..."
Yash (looks up at her) thank god you accepted the flower...
Geet: Of course why wouldn't I accept your flower?
Yash (bows down again) thank you Ms. Geet...
Geet (looks behind him for someone) umm where is Meera?
Yash: Why did you have to mention her name right now? I just got few minutes alone until she comes here to nag me again.
Geet (hits him slightly) Don't say that about her...
"Say what about me?" (Yash gives Geet a sad look telling her not to say anything before turning around to face Meera with a smile...) Hi Meera (she stands in front of him with both hands on her hips in anger...)
Meera: I know what you must've said about me
Yash: I didn't say anything...right Geet...in fact I was just saying how nice and caring wife you are
Geet looks at both of them with tears. Yash and Meera are her friends and also her landlords. They are her only friends that helped her get out of her depression and makes her smile all over again. If it wasn't for them then she didn't know what she would have done where she would've stayed. After Maan, she had stopped believing that there would be someone nice in the world without any motives or reasons. Although, it took her little bit of time to be friendly with Yash while she had shared a great report with Meera.
"What will you guys have?"
Meera: Geet why are you being so formal with us? We told you so many times we are your friends
Yash: Yeah Geet Meera is right.
Meera (hugs Geet...) anyway we have come here to tell you something..(she looks at Yash with worry...)
Geet: what is it? Why are you guys hesitating...
Meera: uhh lets sit and talk...(all sit on the sofas...) uhh the thing is Geet that (she looks at Yash for support)
Yash: I will explain I got a new job in London so we will be moving there soon in fact in two days.
Geet (looks down trying to hide her emotions..again god found a way to separate her from the people that she was attached too) ohh that's good...I am really happy for you guys. I will start looking for another place
Meera: Who said anything about that?
Geet (confused) what do you mean?
Meera: You are coming with us...
Geet: what! But
Meera (holds her hands) Listen Geet we don't know about your past at all or what you have gone through but when we see you live in fear concerns us. Whenever someone knocks on the door you start to freak out as if your worst nightmare is going to be alive again. We never pushed you about your past but that is what it is your past..you have your present and your future to think about...how are you going to bring up your kid while you can't even support yourself? That is why both of us have decided that it is better you also come with us to London..it will be a fresh start for you and the baby!
Geet (hugs Meera) I don't know how to thank you but I can't...I don't want to be a burden on you or Yash anymore...
Yash: Are you crazy? Since when are you a burden? And if you are talking about payments? Then there is a way for you to pay us back
Meera: Yash what are you saying
Yash: I am right Meera...she has to pay us...
Geet: okay how much
Yash: You pay us by smiling...(he laughs) its time that you bring that beautiful smile on your face...see your tomorrow with a bright smile...and am sure you will like London..there is a lot to see there...
Geet: Vicky...(her thoughts went immediately toward Vicky...she thanks her Babaji for giving one more chance to her to correct some mistakes done by that devil...)
Meera: Who is Vicky?
Geet (comes out of her thoughts) huh uhh no one...
Yash: Well then its settled you will come with us to London
Meera: And don't worry about your visa and passport...we got you covered
Geet: i don't know how I will ever repay you guys
Meera: Just say yes...and consider that as your payment..(Geet nodes her head yes)
Yash: Okay then we have to go shopping..there is a lot to do
Meera: He is the first guy that I know that is excited about the name of shopping
Yash: why wouldn't I be? After all there are going to be gorgeous girls there..I need to make some impressions on them...(he pops his collar..Meera runs after him grabbing whatever she could in her hands...Geet sat there thinking about Vicky..."I am coming for you Vicky..and this time I will make sure Maan doesn't find you!)
Geet sat in the car on Maan's lap while the ride back home. She didn't know what awaited her or what the outcome will be...she didn't care about herself..she cared about Vicky..she wanted to see him if he was okay...for some reason after that incident at the park she felt safe and secure...unknowingly she hugs Maan..he looks at her lost in her thoughts as usual and slowly wraps her tighter toward himself.
He was angry at everyone...he hated it when no one respected him when no one does what they were told to do...he slowly caresses her face Geet closes her eyes...he didn't know why he had this fear inside him when he went to look for Geet. He felt as if something bad was going to happen to her as if someone was going to take away what was his...When he saw her being manhandled by someone, someone else touching her...anger and jealously ran through his veins...he just wanted to break the guy's hand that dared them on his Geet...she puts her head on his shoulder..Maan almost smiled seeing her act like a baby...somehow he felt different..he just wanted to hold her like this forever...just the two of them...
Maan picks Geet up carrying her toward the bedroom as soon as the car stopped in front of the house.
"Please put me down..I want to see if Vicky is okay..." (She pleads but Maan kept walking up the stairs..she looks back for Vicky but didn't see him...) "Maan please..." (he looks at her...)
Maan: Vicky is okay...look...
She looks over his shoulder to see the driver carrying Vicky inside...he was crying...Dadima came and hugged him as he cried on her shoulder soon that image faded as Maan closed the bedroom door. He makes her stand up on her two feet looking at her for explanation. Geet looks at him and then back down again fearing what he may have to say.
His anger is so unpredictable. He walks toward her as she takes a step back, with each step her heart beats increased ten times more then before...she looks to her surrounding and realized he led her inside the bathroom. He closes the door, without taking his eyes off of her, with his foot. Geet gulps in fear.
Geet: woh mein..
Maan: ssshhh (he puts his finger on his lips letting her know to be quiet. She nodes her head yes..Maan puts her in the bathroom turning on the shower..she squeals as the cold water hits her body...) DON'T move at all!
He covers her body with his..he places both his hands on opposite side of her head looking down at her...Geet didn't dare to look into his anger filled eyes...he slowly puts his one hand on his shoulder, moving his fingers toward her dupatta before removing it...he throws it on the floor...
"Where else did the guy touch you? Point to it..." (Geet looks into his eyes.. possessiveness, anger, jealousy were quiet visible in his eyes..confusing her..."Are these emotions real? Is he really feeling what I am seeing or is it a trick?" Maan shakes her...) answer me...where else did the guy touch you...
She slowly points toward her wrist..Maan holds her wrist kissing it slowly making her shock and confused..she never seen this side of Maan before...this gentleness and caring nature...she kept pointing upward till her shoulder as Maan slowly moved to each location that she pointed at...he removes part of her suit bearing her shoulder...he kisses her shoulder harshly as the images of the guy's hand comes to his mind..
Geet holds on to his shoulders for support and yells in pain when he bit her shoulder...as he kisses her shoulder he removes the suit from the other side before switching sides...Geet wraps her arms around his neck as he tried to wash away the touch of the guy...his beard scraps her gentle cheeks making her moan...
Maan looks at her after he was done..she slowly opens her eyes looking at him...
"Now tell me why did you both leave this house without my permission?"
Geet: woh...we both wanted to go...Dadima gave me permission...(Maan bangs his palm against the bathtub wall with anger making her flinch)
Maan: Dadima doesn't make any decisions I DO espeically when it comes to you! If I hadn't come on time then they would've kidnapped you two blackmailing me...and no one blackmails me...(he holds her by her two arms) because of you and Vicky my reputation and name were at stake. What would I have said to the public that king's Maan Singh Khruana wife was kidnapped...have you thought about me?
What would I have been gone through? No...you just think about how to bring me down...well I got another news for you Geet..its impossible to change me and put me down! No one questions my decisions and my rules..NOT EVEN YOU!
Geet (tries to come out of his grip) You ONLY think about you! What would have happened to your brother? You should try to console him...he is so scared...
Maan: Good! Let him get all his fears out! In fact he leaves me with no other option but to send him away so that this mistake never happens again! (he opens the bathroom door throwing the towel toward her)
Maan sits in the car as it leads him to his destination..."I finally found you Geet..I am coming..." (He smirks)

Also, I know you guys might be mad at me but I can't let them meet again..this is just one of the twists that I had mentioned before..so I hope you guys like this twist and as usual do give me your feedback and all!
