"apna boyfriend ka saat bagka honeymoon pa ayehu'" Nupur stands still when she hears a voice saying "oh really!!!" Nupur who is standing facing the wall slowly turns towards the door.
Samrat "Nupur who is that, did I hear any man's voice. Nupur please answer"
Nupur cuts the call saying "I-I will call you back, nothing to worry I am in safe hands" ' 'till now, by god' says to herself.
Nupur to cover her embarrassment, showing her fake angry says "wonot you learn that you need to knock before coming into a girl's room"
Mayank "no, as I always stay alone in my house. I never felt need to knock the door." Nupur a ping of hurt in her heart as she saw sadness in his eyes when he said 'alone' but her hurt turned into angry hearing to Mayank's next words.
Mayank continued "even I am used to enter without knocking into Natasha's room" Nupur "she is your fiance and -" with difficulty says "you-you have right to go into her room without knocking but this is my room and-"
Mayank "but I heard you telling that you came to honeymoon with your boyfriend right. So as I know I am the only man here in this whole farm house" keeping a finger on his lips as if he is thinking something says "except, the housekeeper who is 50 years old man". Nupur gets angry hearing his mocking, but ignoring her glares Mayank continues "so, I am the only young and charming most eligible bachelor here" raising his collar "I can expect you are talking about me"
Nupur folds her hands to her chest saying "donot fly too much high, you may fall flat on your face."
Mayank starts laughing at her gesture says trying to control his laugh "ok relax, I am kidding. Freshenup and come for tea, we can go for a walk it will relax your tiredness due to journey" saying so Mayank goes out of her room and hears a hard sound of closing the door and laughs loudly till he reaches the dining room.
Mayank reaches the dining room imagining the fuming face of Nupur. On otherside Nupur bangs her fist on the door hearing Mayank's laugh, she still can imagine the mocking look of Mayank which makes her fume inside with angry. Nupur tells to herself "by god, kadoos kahika patha nahin kaab mera pecha chodaga" closes her eyes telling to herself "relax Nupur, first handle Samrat and your family then you can handle that mocking pig. Arggghhheee."
Nupur takes the cell once again and dials Samrat, this time Samrat picks the phone for the first ring, Nupur smiles thinking how much Samrat might be worried about her. Samrat "tell me Nupur where are you, please donot hide. Is it a man whose voice I heard and-"
Nupur gets an idea says "samrat Samrat thoda saas tho loo, actually I am in Nainital" Nupur thinking atleast something is true,continues "I have a bet of truth and dare with my collage friends. And they gave me dare to go to Nainital and stay for 3 days alone. So I came here, and the voice is the caretaker of this resort where I am staying, he got my lagguage, that's all I am perfectly fine and enjoying the weather" looking outside the window seeing the pleasant view of garden and pool, continues "if my family calls please tell them that I am with you. I will call vidith bhaya and tell him the same. As all others are not at home Vidith bhaya can handle them. Samrat will you do me this favor. "
Samrat always believes Nupur, so as usual he believes the story of Nupur as he knows how impulsive are Nupur's decisions and her carefree nature "ok fine. I will manage but call me if you need anything"
Nupur gives a smile and says "I know Samrat, you are the one on whom I can depend at any time."
Samrat smiles "take care and bye."
Nupur "bye Samrat and take care".
Nupur cuts the call and rings to Vidith, she expected it will easy to convince vidith easily but it is the hard task for Nupur then expected. Vidith asked her 101 questions before believing Nupur. She told all lies cursing Mayank to nth time for making her lie to her own brother like that. At the end Vidith accepts Nupur's stories after confirming with Samrat and demanding Samrat to bring Nupur to talk on Samrat's phone to confirm, as vidith knows very well about Nupur and her mischiefs. Samrat keeps a conversation call between Nupur, Vidith and makes Vidith believe that Nupur is with him. As vidith is not that much open to these technologies, he believed that Nupur is really with Samrat and tells Nupur that he will take care of her parents not to worry and have a nice trip. Nupur thanks Samrat for his help and cruses Mayank once again decides to get freshen up and go down for evening snacks and walk.
Nupur finds Mayank sitting in the garden and having his evening coffee reading some evening newspaper. Nupur comes and sits with a bang on opposite chair to get attention of Mayank. He is watching her with his corner of eyes but did not reacted to any of her behavior.
Nupur clears her throat "I want to know what is there in that CD that you bought me here." Mayank gives her a-donot-you-know look,
Nupur "ok ok, I read that they are some calculations of share market and shares which you are going to buy to take over some company and all. But why they are that much secret that it left you no choice but to kidnap me."
She asks as if she is demanding the strong reason for her kidnap.
Mayank cools rises from his chair "I donot think there is need for me to give you an explanation. There is nothing you can do now. So finish your snacks and come we can go for walk or you can go back to you room and take rest."
Nupur keeps quiet because as soon as the coffee and snacks smell filled her nostrils, she has no more energy to argue with Mayank. she realizes how much hungry she is, she did not have a drop of water from morning to till now. Nupur completes her coffee and snacks with concentration, as soon as she completes her little snack she searches for Mayank and finds him in the garden looking at sky which covered with dark clouds, still it is evening 5 PM but looks like 9 PM in the night. She goes near him and to gain his attention she clears his throat. Mayank looks back at her and says "let's go."
Nupur nods her head as yes. Both starts there walk in silence enjoying the nature around them. They slowly reached some evening bazaar happening near by the farm house.
Nupur sees a bangles shop and asks Mayank "let's go there, I can see a lot of variety of bangles. I want to buy."
Mayank "did you bought money, who will pay for you. These villages are not going to give you for free and" as mocking "you are not accompanied with your boyish boyfriend."
Nupur gives him a sharp look "the same person who bought me the lehnga will pay for these bangles as well" and goes from there leaving a shocked Mayank. "How she knows that I paid for her lehnga. God!!!"
Mayank follows Nupur. She goes and starts selecting different colors of bangles and keeps them on the table saying the shopping keeper to pack them for her. Mayank decides to know how she knows about the lenhga, so without wasting time directly comes to the point "how do you know about that?"
Nupur understand what Mayank is saying but says coolly "about bangles, I know a lot about them. by god I really like to wear different designs and different colors of bangles you know'" showing Mayank some bangles on the hanging, irritating Mayank more and makes him more determined to know how she knows the lehnga matter, he donot want her to misunderstand his intentions as he still donot know what made him to buy that lehnga for her and he still remembers there little romance, if it is called, happened in the changing room which gave him sleepless nights for one whole week.
Mayank "donot act smart with me I am asking about lehnga matter, how you know that I paid for it."
Nupur decides to ignore him and turns her face to other side as if she did not hear what Mayank said and looking at the bangles. Mayank gets frustrate with Nupur not paying attention to him, till now no one ignored his questions like that, he caught her hand and jerks her to face him making her lose her balance and fall on his chest. He catches her safely in his arms, keeps his finger under her chin raises her face to his level and asks the question again looking directly into her eyes "I donot like people ignoring me, understand" rising his eye brow he continues "I asked how do you know that I paid for the lehnga."
Nupur slowly licks her lips, which caught attention of Mayank, he puts his 32 years of experience to control himself without placing his lips on her lips and with hard determination diverted his eyes from her lips to her eyes. When Nupur find Mayank is looking at her lips it did different weird things in her stomach making her more nervous and hold Mayank's shirt with a fear of falling, her legs became jally and if Mayank's hands are not around her, she might have fallen down by now.
Mayank looks into her eyes and repeats his question "how do you know?"
Nupur "oh oh, Samrat saw you paying the cashier, so I enquired about it."
Mayank left Nupur with a jerk when he heard Samrat's name from her lips. Keeps his hand on his head as if controlling his angry says "I thought you liked that lehnga very much and as you are my employee it is my duty to see that all my employees are happy" he gave a very lame excuse.
Nupur catches the bangles stand to make herself straight and not to fall flat on her back as Mayank left her with force. She is still shocked to see Mayank's reaction and not sure what made him to react in such a way but felt insulted or hurt. Nupur gets angry says "donot act smart, employee satisfaction my foot, you are so money minded that you can never think about the welfare of the employees" though she knows it is wrong, Mayank always backs his employees and looks after their small to small needs but her angry and insult or hurt is making her say those harsh words "if you are really cares for your employee then you would not have used Samrat job to blackmail me and about lehnga I did not even wear it when I came to know it is you who bought it for me. I wonot wear it till the return back you the whole money of the lehnga" saying so she leaves the shop fuming leaving Mayank staring at her.
