Chapter-8
Fate's game
"rajat,there was a call from production house..they want to resume shoot as soon as possible..."Ritu said
Rajat looked in a bit irritation and walked away without giving any answer.He was resting in his room when his cell phone buzzed...he picked..it was Mauli...
"Hello!"
"Hey honey..how are you?"
"Fine!"
"By the way shahi called me twice..they want to resume shoot...as they had changed the track slightly coz of your absence...now they want your re-entry "she said all in one go.
"hmm.."
"What??? you are coming back on shooting or not...?"she asked a bit confusedly
"yup..." said he and hung up.
That was the bitter reality of his life,he could'nt take his decision,he din want to be a part of this industry but he had to...somehow he accepted it but then he had to follow the silliest things about it...show-off,glamour,having a relationship with your co-star for TRPs...HECK!!! he slammed his head.
thinking something he called Mugdha,
"Hello.."a sleepy voice appeared from the other side...surprisingly he sighted on his watch...it was half past 12 in night..she must be sleeping.
"Sorry...I disturbed you.."he said with a regret.
"Its okay..how come you called me at this time?"
"Actually..I...just want yoo..to come on my set...tomorrow.."he stammered in nervousness.
Her sleep had flew away with his statement,"Why???"she asked
"With me...i am going for shoot of 'wo chand si..." he completed somehow.
"Ohh..ok..c you there.."she said and hung up. She now understood the reason..'wo chand si' was the famous show
with leads as rajat and mauli...he wanted to make her jeolous..that's it!!!

On the sets of 'wo chand si..'
Rajat came up with mugdha..the way they were holding hands in front of everyone was enough to create rumours...Mauli was already there remembering her dialogs,seeing rajat and mugdha like that her facial expressions changed suddenly...it was a shock for her...
When they were shooting,mugz waited sitting next to director..some intimate romantic scene in rain was going on...mauli was feeling uncomfortable because of mugz and doing re-takes again and again..at last director finalized their 11th take but not satisfied...rajat came to mugz rubbing his wet hairs with towel given by spot boy.He sat beside her...
"how was my acting?"he asked generally
"satisfactory!"she said
"dint you find it good?"he asked a bit surprised.
She overlooked his question and continued looking along the set...he kept quiet...after a few minutes spot boy came running and said him that Mauli is calling him in her vanity van...
"I am just coming.."he said to mugz but the content smile on his face was making her sure that he found it his another achievement...then what is she doing here?her task is completed...mauli's calling him mean she is jealous...now she can go..thought she curtly.
In vanity van mauli was darkening her lip-stick when he came...she immediately started,
"Rajat..whats dis?who is she?"
He pretending to be normal replied,"she is my friend,Mugdha...she saved me..."
"yes I know.."she cut him short "but what the hell is she doing here?"
"why?friends are'nt allowed on sets?"he asked raising his brows.
Mauli came near to him,brushing his cheeks with an extra amount of love she whispered in his ears,
"disturbs in our privacy honey..."
He slightly shrugged her.She realized his mood and changed the topic,"shahi is ready to sign you on your terms..."she said coming closer to him...
It was indeed a big surprise...he shook her hand,"Really!!!"
"I knew it...that this news would surely cheer you up..."she said almost putting her lips on his..he also pushed her closer...deepening the kiss...
they sprang apart sensing someone's footstep towards van...the spot boy was there saying,"shot is ready.."

Prem mehra the famous director of mythological and historical show was looking for a new face for his new series .Everything was finalized writer,producer,screen play writer,editor except the main leads.The show was typically based on the life of a real hero "Prithvi raj Chauhan" showing all historic events related to him.
He needed two fresh faces for main lead one for teenage "Prithvi" and other for teenage "Sanyogita".
His producer nimesh lambia had suggested him the name of Rajat for prithvi.Lambia was also partner of the head PH of "wo chand si" and impressed by rajat's work in the show,he was quite confident that he could play Prithvi.
Because of Lambia's constant nagging mehra accepted his offer to visit on the set once.Rajat and mauli were shooting an emotional scene where Chandni(Mauli)was leaving house because she found her husband Aaditya(rajat) a
reason behind neha's death.Neha was aaditya's childhood lover.The guilt ,agony,pain and helplessness was reflecting by his acting very well...some of the people on set even cried on his acting.And that all was'nt hidden from Mehra...he was looking very much impressed by his acting...he immediately marked,
"He is my prithvi!!!"
When the shot was over,rajat came back to mugdha...mehra's eyes followed him...the girl was looking innocent.He dint know why but he could'nt move his eyes from her face...there was something in her face which was holding his eyes...the innocense,purity,speaking eyes...
"Who is that girl?"he asked shahi,the director of wo chand si.
"I don't know...might be a friend of rajat..."he replied showing no interest.But Mehra was looking very much
interested in the girl...his eyes were visualizing her in royal princess get-up.
